If you ever think you know all the possible ways to do dessert, come to White Rabbit to be humbled! I honestly was surprised with the wide range of options for waffles, crepes and ice creams! I chose to stick to some of the traditional options which gives me more reason to visit again. The staff are awesome too. They help you out if confused and are quick to give you a taste of certain ice cream flavors etc. They are patient and very kind. This is a kitschy place to come to once in a while. The service is lacking a bit, just not very friendly. Anyway, the food was mostly yummy we got the s'mores waffle (I don't recall the name). Honestly the waffle was the best we've ever eaten. It was just really good. The rest of the dessert was good except the chocolate chips did NOT taste like chocolate at all. They tasted just like little sugar pellets. We all agreed that it was definitely cheap "chocolate" and for the price of the dessert that's not what we expected. If you love crepes, waffles, and ice cream, this is your place to go. Right when you walk in the aroma of the home made waffles fills your nostrils. It's heavenly. The place is decorated Alice in a Wonderland theme, super cute. It is very spacious. The milkshakes are very good, they make their own ice cream. One of my go to is the Dark Side, it's tiny pieces of brownies with chocolate chips and ice cream. I always get a crepe instead of the waffles. The portions are huge and so one plate can be split between 2 people. It's about $20 a dessert plate. The only thing is there's never any specials and the menu is always the same. After having a good dinner, we were craving for ice cream, and found this place in google map. We had 25-30 minutes wait time (you have to wait in your car, as they do not allow queuing inside). Good thing is the websites gives a pretty detail info about your position in queue and expect sitting time. The staffs are very nice. Ambiance is average. Menu selection is moderate. I brought my Stepdaughter here for her 22nd birthday. She is my Disney princess, she absolutely loved the Alice and Wonderland implied theme. Our servers were really sweet and nice. Our table was clean. It is designed super cute. We spent 50.00 with tip on three desserts and 2 cola's. Which is what I expected. Portions are large so they can be shared if price is a factor. Due to it being her birthday and our first time there we all wanted to get our own desserts and share. It was a lot of fun My Disney princess bought a Brownie Sundae in a waffle cone and she loved it. I ordered the Mad Chocolate, which is chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It was huge, I ate the ice cream and took the cake home, it could have easily fed 3. The cake had many layers. It was fresh and delicious. I ate it the next day and it was still delicious. My hubby, ordered two scoops of ice cream. The ice cream is made fresh daily, he didn't think the raspberry ice cream had a lot of flavor but he really liked the chocolate. The colas were tasty, organic can sugar cola's served in the old fashioned glass bottles. Very nostalgic and fun. The whole evening was fun. Hmm i don't even know where to start.. I came here with my family for mother's day. I know it is the busiest time of the year for the restaurant/food industry. So I called first before i brought my entire family here. I was advised that there was no wait at the moment. I was less than 2000ft away from the place. When we got there, we were told that there is a 45 minute wait. Now I don't mind waiting, like i mentioned i understand it is the busiest time of the year.But there is no way it is 45 mins wait after couple of mins I called and said no wait. You should not lie to your customers. The gentleman who greeted us, was not friendly at all. He was rude and not very welcoming, I have been in this establishment before. And I have never encountered such an abrasive attitude towards a customer. This not only ruined my mother's day it also ruined the time I have with my family. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishments especially for special occasions. Unless you want to be treated like crap then i suppose come at your own risk. read more

So, I ordered a strawberry shortcake waffle. It's exactly what they describe. A medium size waffle with cut strawberries and creme. That's it. Very basic. Tastes just like waffles and strawberries. But 14.5 dollars for this? I don't get it. The bond cinna apple waffle dish was pretty much the same. However with some ice cream for 16.5 dollars. We came in for dinner, but we left with a story we'll tell at Bingo for the next ten years. The waitress--let's call her Saint Karina, Patroness of Patience--was an absolute gem. She greeted us like we were royalty and not like the fossils we were. We had a lot of questions about the menu ("What's Apple-Y Ever After?" Who is Mr.Hazetella), and not once did she roll her eyes or rush us. She would stop by occasionally to check on us or crack a joke or help one of us turn on our phones. Honestly, if she wasn't already working there, we'd try to recruit her for our weekly card game. I immediately went home and told my daughter and granddaughter about my delightful dinner experience. My daughter and I wanted to try this place... and we won't be back. Pros: Clean. Friendly servers (Portia was adorable! We really enjoyed her- the other server was very friendly and just as upbeat and positive though I didn't get his name). Cute ambiance. Cons: While the place was only half full, the wait was 15+ minutes so I can only assume there is a low number of staff on shift. The hostess/food prep person several times hollered the servers name to run food and back to back sat tables for the two servers. We were sat by the hostess and then the servers had to move our table because a large party was coming in and our party of 2 was sat in the only large seating section. Portia was greeting and taking orders from an 8 top of primarily young boys who had come in and been seated in her already busy section while in the food prep area she was called twice to run her food. I felt bad as a former server while I watched her get seated back to back at least 3 times. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or a communication issue but wow does that make for a long day as a server when that's what you're handed. Perhaps a good runner and expediter should be added to the staff? We often looked at dirty tables as parties left. Again- it seemed like this is a staffing problem since I didn't see anyone who wasn't constantly busy. Another con was the incredibly high prices. I get that it's an "experience" but aside from the decor and friendly servers I didn't think the "experience" was provided. Our desserts weren't something to write home about and while pretty- my cheesecake lacked flavor and tasted like a store bought cheesecake. The apple pie my daughter had was comparable to wegmans. We were not able to enjoy the full White Rabbit experience as we stopped in to get a couple desserts to go. While waiting for our order, I looked around to appreciate the details that went into decorating this place. The extra large crown molding and modern light fixtures against an all black open ceiling, I thought went very well. I I also liked the different choices they have for seating. Now to the desserts. We tried a piece of their chocolate cake and their apple pie. The chocolate cake was good, but it did not wow me. For the price they charge I was hoping for a more enjoyable chocolate cake. However, at least in my opinion, last night I had the best piece of apple pie I've had in my entire life. The bottom crust was perfect, not soggy not dry. It was perfect. Plenty of apples, packed nice and tight with the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon, and the subtle yet present hint of tartness. We will be back, and next time we'll dine in for the full experience. I'll just have to wait till after payday. read more

Was able to stop by White Rabbit last night...and WOAH! What a special *experience* as the name suggests. I can't wait till COVID is over and we can all gather in a space like this and enjoy sundaes! The interior is truly transportative - it gave me NYC vibes where you'd sit and eat cheesecake after a show in a gorgeous environment. The whole concept is based around Alice in Wonderland and the murals on the wall reflect that beautifully. We went with the Death & Taxes sundae and the New York, New York strawberry cheesecake! These were both truly 5 stars in every way. They make their ice cream in house and you can buy by the pint. The peanut butter sundae was (not being dramatic) life changing: perfectly fluffy whipped cream standing up against solid ice cream, rich chocolate sauce, and TONS of reese cups. The waffle bowl it comes in? Soft, made fresh, and delightful. The cheesecake is thick and rich, with bright strawberry sauce and fresh fruit. I am still thinking about every perfect bite as I write this at 10am!! The staff here is next level friendly and accomodating. Questions about the menu? Recommendations? Allergies? Just let any staff member know and they will be ready to assist. They offer their entire menu for takeout, and I can't wait to get back and try a waffle, crepe, and literally every single sundae on their menu. I came here with my family to redeem my Elite perk of a free dessert but my family also dined in for their dessert experience. We do hope this establishment is able to stay since it's a very cool atmosphere and the desserts were wonderful. My only complaint was that my son ordered the Walking brownie with waffles but when it came, it was the Nutellin' You nothing, we didn't complain since he's not very picky and still loved it. Their homemade Nutella ice cream is to die for and I hear it's one of their signature ice creams. Substitutions are great at this place as I was able to have my Nutellin' You Nothing with strawberries instead of bananas and my son was able to substitute his ice cream for chocolate. Would have also preferred a little bit more social distancing between groups when dining in. Nonetheless, we will definitely be back to support this business in this time! read more

What's so great is all the ice cream flavors are handcrafted daily. We came to Rochester for a long weekend and noticed white rabbit on our way to get coffee one morning. After a quick yelp review we decided that we needed to try it out. I expected it to be really busy but we were able to get in quickly. A lot of variety on the menu. The prices are a little bit steep but this is definitely somewhere you don't come for dessert on a Tuesday. This is definitely a treat, something that you do a few times a year. My only complaint is that there was one dairy free option. Vanilla ice cream. Boring. Super boring. They had about nine different gluten-free options and realistically there are more people with dairy issues than gluten issues. I got my vanilla ice cream and enjoyed it. I've been waiting to come here for a very long time. Since it's already been awhile, I decided to get something to go while I was in Henrietta. It's very pretty inside. I placed my order and waited by the door. It probably took 15 minutes, which is fine. However, I was incredibly disappointed at what was presented to me. For $15, I expected much better. I have gotten Friendly's brownie sundaes to go and they were presented much more nicely than this. And even if I get over the presentation, it really wasn't that good. It was fine, but I want better than fine for $15. I got the JK Oreo. Oreo sundaes are my favorite. Cookies and cream ice cream may have helped. But there was just nothing special about it. It was pretty bland. Maybe it's the ice cream and they can't do that well for to go orders? Then they probably shouldn't offer it. I honestly wished I'd gone to Dairy Queen instead, and I could have gotten 3 blizzards for that amount, lol.
