She told the front desk, and they reassured her their products are vetted and they take "non-toxic" seriously, so she trusted them. During the facial, they applied a product that was visibly blue. After the service, the technician recommended the same product...so my wife asked to see the ingredients. Only then did we learn the product contains synthetic TOXIC dye/blue coloring and other ingredients that don't align with "organic/non-toxic" marketing that is ALL over their blogs and website - after it had already been smeared all over her face. Skin is the largest organ in the body, and with her sensitivity this is not a small issue. This was also for my wife's birthday, and instead of feeling cared for, she left feeling misled and completely violated. Our trust is broken. She brought her own products to use but they ensured that they could be trusted...... I emailed management and never received a response...3 weeks later, still nothing.

I am beyond disappointed. I paid $225 plus tip for a HydraFacial that was barely a treatment. The technician completely ignored standard protocols. Instead of the continuous suction required to actually clean the skin, she used a useless "spot touch" method and avoided large areas of my face entirely. When I mentioned my skin was sensitive to manual extractions, she became fearful of the machine itself, taking multiple breaks and failing to perform the basic deep cleansing I came for. I left with the same clogged pores I walked in with. To make matters worse, I expressed these specific concerns to the manager, who completely ignored me. It is insulting to charge premium prices for subpar work and then refuse to acknowledge a long-term customer's feedback. If you want a real HydraFacial and professional management, go elsewhere. There still is the 10 pack deal, total of $50 discount. New to me are the leather chaises and massage chairs in the common area. Is it me? The leather chaise absorbs body heat especially after the Fire House. It was possibly the heavy cotton uniform that you're issued. Seemed like the females out numbered the males 10:1. So many pink uniforms in the common area. It's unfortunate that there is no talking allowed in the Fire or Salt houses. Even with whispering, it's very annoying and bothersome. I suppose it could be worse but it really disturbed my relaxation. Even though the spa provides free soaps, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers, it's still bulk industrial cleansers. It dried out my skin, didn't feel very good after showering. It's just slightly better than rinsing off the sweat in a hot shower. The men's TV room was blacked out, no TV on, a large quiet room. But, who can find peace in there with loud snoring and other noises coming from outside or the AC ducts. The cafe is still there. Didn't eat but the delicious smell of bul-go-gi was so amazing. It got me hungry. You have the ability to charge purchases to your card on account by providing the locker number assigned shown on the provided wrist bungee key holder.
