Thankfully I speak mandarin so communication is not an issue, instead it helps a lot. I asked her about the prices as I wasn't sure if the pictures that someone posted in regards to price was updated. It is not. I posted a picture of the updated pricing sheet. So I got the 60mins for $40. It was past 1pm and I was in dire need of a massage as I've been aching for weeks now and just need to relief all the tension so I went for it either ways. Janie was my masseuse. At first she was light handed and I usually like my massage with a lot of pressure as I have A LOT of knots in my body from weightlifting. She then adjusted the pressure to fit my request and I was relaxed. 60mins went by just like that. I would definitely opt for the 90mins next time or coming in between 10am-1pm for their current promotion of $30 for an hour of full body massage. ***FYI for those who knows about "gua sha" (a type of holistic Chinese therapy like cupping, but they scrape out toxins in your body and will leave red marks; it sounds scary but it's good for your body to eliminate toxins and knots), I asked them if they had it and they do. They just don't offer it on the menu as it isn't popular in the States. Nonetheless, they charge $1/min for gua sha. *** Hope this review helps! I'm definitely coming back here for my next massage :) I'm feeling relaxed and normal again, not in pain from all the tension everywhere in my body.

After a few tough workouts, I was looking for some relief and enjoy exploring new massage places every month. The staff member who greeted me was friendly, and I mentioned I was looking for a deep tissue massage. Unfortunately, the massage I received was much lighter than expected. Additionally, the therapist left the room multiple times (around five times) during the session, checking her phone. While I understand there can be interruptions, especially if you're the only person working, I was disappointed that these breaks weren't accounted for. I assumed the 10 minutes she spent away would be added to the end of the massage, but that didn't happen. I also had to remind the therapist several times that I wanted a deeper pressure, as the massage felt too light, and at times, it felt like she wasn't applying much pressure at all, despite me explaining it at the beginning. Toward the end of the session, when it seemed clear I wasn't interested in a "special massage," the therapist rushed through the final part of my treatment, and it felt like the session ended abruptly. Overall, my experience didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend this spa. Cleanliness was also a major factor. i saw one cockroach and a lot of spiders/spider webs in corners. Based on what I experienced, I'm left feeling disappointed and would not return.

It didn't feel thorough or professional at all. After the massage, things got even more uncomfortable. They were very pushy about getting a tip. I told them I would go to the bank next door to get cash, and one of the workers actually followed us outside waiting for it. That felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they offered my male friend inappropriate services, which is completely unacceptable. This is supposed to be a legitimate business, and that kind of behavior is not okay. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Poor service, uncomfortable experience, and not worth the money.

My husband and I came here for a couples massage. The place is rough-looking on the outside but…read morewe're believers in "hole in the walls" being great places so we were excited to try it out. Upon walking in, we were a little creeped out, the place was totally empty except for us & the only masseuses around were the two who attended to us. The whole places is old, dirty and dated. The masseuses were waiting around with nothing to do when we got there, figures. Their business is probably bad for many reasons- one of which is what I'm about to share.. We were massaged by Lisa & Anne. The whole transaction was very awkward, we were charged first and then walked into an dim-lit room where there was no air conditioning & no robes. Not even offered a cup of water or anything before beginning. Also, the room seemed dirty but well-hidden because of the low lights. Ps.. don't come here if you want to have an easy time communicating. (Nobody there speaks clear English so it was very hard to distinguish anything). We undressed, laid out onto the massage tables and the 2 masseuses came in the room to begin. For starters, their massages were weird. They seemed improvised and at times it's almost like they'd run out of "moves" so they'd do random things. Finally, once it was over- we said thank you as they left and we dressed. My husband and I decided- based on the place, the OK massage and the awkwardness/unprofessionalism of the whole experience, we'd tip each masseuse $5, so $10 in total. We walked up to the front to ask if we could put this on a card when they asked for the amount we were requesting to tip. Here's where I couldn't believe what happened next- and why I would give ZERO stars if possible. We asked to tip $10, so 5 for each masseuse. They were both present & began to laugh. They tried to tell us in broken English that "people give $10 per masseuse and we should give $10 each" I said "I don't CARE what other people tip, WE are tipping $10, how dare you demand an amount of gratuity!" I was fuming while my husband held it together, we signed off on this stupid underserved tip and tried to leave. They started chatting in their native language, most likely saying things about us and proceeded to laugh at us, saying "goodbye" with- "come back, come back next time and bring 10 more dollars for us". WOW. Just wow. Never have we received this low level of customer service. Will NEVER come here again. If you're looking for a relaxing massage experience, DO NOT COME HERE. There's a reason there's like 10 bad reviews on this place and maybe 2 good ones. You two were lucky, the rest of us dealt with crap for an experience. Never again. Should've known from reading those bad reviews earlier, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
