Canceled booking without effective notice, followed by a dismissive response…read moreI booked a July 15, 9:00 AM cleaning and received a confirmation. Simple Shine later said they had canceled the booking because they had no cleaners available in North Phoenix, but I did not receive or locate the cancellation email or text they claimed to have sent. I took PTO, prepared my studio, and waited for a cleaner who was never coming. Their phone went to voicemail. When I asked for proof of the cancellation notice, they provided an internal cancellation record and an unrelated older SMS record, but no evidence showing that a July cancellation email or text was actually sent or delivered. Their response focused on the fact that I was not charged, while ignoring the wasted PTO, preparation, and waiting time caused by their communication failure. I would not book with this company again.

Save your money and use another company!! My wife and I hired this company to clean our house…read morebefore a home appraisal. Prior to scheduling the appointment my wife went over exactly what was needed including a recently remodeled bathroom. Due to the recent remodel it was suggested that we do a "Deep Clean" verses a standard cleaning. We agreed to the service and the price, which included the kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an office. The manager, or at least I think that is his title, said just make sure they have access to the areas and let them do their job and clean. That is exactly what we did. To the point my wife and I sat in my office so we were out of the way. After about 5 hours the cleaners had completed the kitchen, dining room, and living room, they took a short break for lunch, and returned to continue on the rest of the house or so we thought. After returning, the cleaners started on the master bedroom and bathroom. It was at this point we ran into the end of the day when Greg text my wife said the cleaners were leaving and would be back the next day to finish the job due to it taking so long. The excuse that was given was it was because of the remodeled bathroom, which was referred to as "post construction." Doing a tile floor and replacing the caulking in a tub is not construction. As a matter of fact it should have saved them time, because they didn't need to clean the floor or wipe down the floor panels, which was included in the service, since they were brand new. Greg stated this was never discussed and we would have to pay additional money to have the rest of the house finished. He said we told them the house only had " a little dust" which were in fact his words about my office, and had nothing to do with the master bed and bath. As far as I'm concerned this was a bait and switch. We even went to the lengths of going over the initial call, which was recorded by them, and confirmed that everything WAS in fact discussed. Still, we were told we would have to pay more. Keep in mind they didn't even complete 50% of the work promised. The master bedroom was not complete, they didn't finish cleaning the master bathroom, they didn't touch the second bathroom, either of other other two bedrooms, or my office. So they did less than half of what was promised, charged us FULL price, and tried to charge us additional funds outside of what we agreed on. They have made no attempt to make this right, or even take any responsibility. My wife and I had to clean the rest of the house ourselves. Also, I have security camera footage which can confirm all time frames stated above. They company knew exactly what they were suppose to clean here and just simply didn't do it. We had to foot the bill for the lack of time management on the part of their staff. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Our Technician was Raul who was absolutely fabulous!! He arrived before estimated time and was friendly and professional. I did a 'walk-through' with him of the rooms as well as answered any questions he had for clarification. BF and I were able to relocate ourselves to other areas of the house to continue working remotely while Raul worked his magic. He was very thorough and used blue plastic booties (shoe covers) once carpets were steamed and still damp. Gave us a few pairs as well to use while rooms were drying. End results exceeded my expectations as my house was so sparkling clean and smelled so crisp!! Shade of my carpet was much lighter after treatment; indication of how filthy they actually were!! I highly recommend utilizing Starr Cleaning - you won't be disappointed at all! We'll definitely be using them again in the future and requesting Raul upon his availability. Great job!!

We recently had some drywall work done by a company that had to replace our air conditioner and the…read morecontractor the air conditioning company hired did not cover anything and got drywall dust all over the house. It was so bad that it clogged one both air filters and was all over the house (in the carpets, all over the blinds, and all over anything with a surface. It also got in my desk fan and clogged that up. The air conditioning company hired Beehive to come and clean up the contractor's mess. I dealt with Cathy to get everything scheduled and she was super nice and professional. I received a text message confirming the appointment and then another text when the cleaners were on their way, and a third message when they were finished. When I spoke with Cathy, I explained everything that needed to be done and how the contractor made a mess with drywall dust everywhere. When the cleaners arrived they seemed unsure what needed to be done and one of the ladies kept mentioning something about a work order. I wasn't sure why she kept mentioning that but I explained everything that needed to be done, emphasizing that the vents, fans, and blinds needed to be cleaned. They said they were going to do a standard clean and promptly got started. After about three hours, they informed me that they were finished. I informed them that some of the vents on the third level (which has 8 foot ceilings) were still dirty. One of the cleaners responded back with, "I can't reach them, they're just going to get dirty again anyway..." I was a bit taken back by that response because, yeah, they are going to get dirty again...the entire house is going to get dirty again, that's why you clean periodically. I wound up just cleaning them myself and when I went around the house I noticed none of the vents on the second level were cleaned either. The floor was also a little sticky in spots...I'm not sure what they used to mop so I re-mopped all of the floors. Later that evening, I noticed that they didn't clean the bottom of the master bathroom shower as I noticed some orange bacteria starting to form (gross!). I also cleaned this. Since the air conditioning company paid for the cleaning I wasn't too upset. Beehive did a majority of the cleaning and the things that were cleaned looked very good. They got rid of all the drywall just and left the house smelling fresh and clean. I'm not sure if I'd use them again though.
