Zaid responded promptly after AHS flagged the urgency of my work order on a Saturday, and he was at my place first thing Monday morning. He quickly diagnosed a shorted compressor and understood my concern, as my home was listed for sale. He went above and beyond by walking me through options, and I chose to move forward with the repair. Zaid ordered required parts through AHS and made a genuine effort to prioritize the installation due to my situation.Unfortunately, AHS sent the wrong parts--but thanks to Zaid's attention to detail, he caught the issue before the installation date and had them reorder the correct ones. Terrible experience. One of their guys or the owner, who knows, told me that they could come by at 10am. I asked if 11am would work and they never responded but, showed up at 10am and got frustrated with me, telling me that he had been "waiting for almost 30mins" and would have to leave if "no one got to him in 5 mins". I was so confused. We never had an agreement for him to show up at anytime or day, he just showed up and got mad at me. I told him that he didn't respond to my text reply, asking is 11am would work, before randomly showing up and he said "I'm too busy to respond to text's"...then why did he text me to begin with??? He showed up, was difficult with my wife after inconveniencing us, took one look at a tarp we have over our AC and told us that's the problem; which it's absolutely not. He claimed to have fixed it and literally 5 minutes after he left, the AC shut off and quit working again. Frustrating, rude, and useless. That's all we got for what we paid. read more

I had Happy Bear assigned from AHS for a second opinion for my AC. They called me within 10 minutes of AHS assignment and was at the house with 1/2 hour. I never experienced this prompt and timely service. Zaid looked at my unit and right away he knew what was wrong. He had the part on his truck and changed it. Showed up, said my roof was too dangerous to get to, mentioned being over worked and too tired and then left. Didn't even pull out a ladder. Simply walked around the property and said, nope. Then proceeded to report to AHS that my roof was inaccessible so now they won't send anyone else out. I looked at the review photos...plenty of shingles and all much steeper than mine. My HVAC has received routine maintenance every year for the last 6 years and it's never been an issue. Didn't even know there were shingles because it's never been mentioned. He was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. Refused to talk to me at all. Didn't offer to come back with a bigger ladder, ask how anyone ever got up there before, or try to find another solution. My condos been without AC for 4 days because that was the soonest they could send someone out here. It's 100 outside. 89 inside my condo. And AHS won't send a new tech because of his false report. If only my home warranty insurance, AHS had sent me Zaid from Happy Bear in the first place, it would have saved me so much grief, frustration, and suffering. The first, company called Crispy Air (consumers beware) was a nightmare clown show. In stark contrast, Zaid from Happy Bear was fantastic! So, I had elderly out of town guests in the hottest month of the year and Krispy Air left me left me hanging with no AC for over a month, and damaged a bunch of things on my property to boot! Poor Zaid from Happy Bear had to clean up the mess that Krispy Air left here, and repair all of the damages they did as well. Zaid was very punctual, returning my call immediately and coming to my house in less than 24 hours. He was professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly ETHICAL and HONEST. The most astonishing outcome revealed was this: Zaid performed an interim system fix that had my A/C back up and blowing the precious cold air that I needed so desperately within a few hours during his FIRST visit to my home and he will be back to install the CORRECT part which he expedite ordered that is needed to complete the final repair of my A/C system. Crispy Air should have done the same thing instead of cheating me out of $175 personal cash, trashing and destroying my property, and leaving my family in sweltering heat for over a month! That month of torture in 100-112 degree heat should NEVER have happened! New AC sale scam to desperate customers perhaps? (They tried to sell me one). All past negative reviews for Crispy air seem to indicate they are totally incompetent and/or SCAM artists. If Krispy Air remains a preferred vendor with AHS, I will purchase my home warranty policy elsewhere. Regardless of AHS, I will only use Zaid from Happy Bear for all of my heating and cooling needs. read more

Opened a claim, on Saturday night about my AC not cooling properly. I knew I probably wouldn't get a call till Monday when the A/C company's office is open but Faid from Happy Bear Inc. called and said he was available to come over within 20 minutes. This blew my mind it was 116 out and in the afternoon. Faid arrive promptly within the 20 minutes. He told me he would be here and gave my AC a thorough examination. OMG don't hire this guy if you have a new install... BEWARE he's a one man shop and he can do little fixes. New installs, is a whole different thing and he delayed mine for over 6 weeks in the middle of summer 110+. I had a service guy come whom the home warranty company sent over. He did absolutely nothing in my condo. The AC was working on and OFF and I tried explaining that to him, and that I would still like him to figure out if he can see if there is any problem causing for it to turn on and off. He then decided that he could not climb on top of the roof, because the company doesn't service tile roofs...I found that extremely odd considering more than 60% of roofs in Arizona are tile... however in addition my roof does have an area he could of climbed to the flat part with a 24' ladder but he never even went around the other side of the building to check the availability, nor did he put his ladder up against the building to even check what type of access there truly was... He also mentioned that in order for him to get on the roof I myself would have to remove the tiles from my condo roof...Following his claim of that he can't service a roof with tiles he told me he would notify the warranty company saying he wasn't able to fulfill the service and to send someone else to replace him. He also tried claiming to me that my warranty states it doesn't cover AC that requires roof access with tiles. That was also a lie as I looked through my warranty contract and it doesn't state this anywhere. INSTEAD I call the warranty company and they say he tried to complete the service/inspection but couldn't because I didn't give him roof access. I found that extremely misleading and fraudelent considering that all of my neighbors have had their AC's service on the same exact roof within the last 7 months. In addition the previous owner of my condo had the AC looked at about 12 months ago. Kind of strange that every other company had no problem accessing the roof... I was on hold for 6 hours yesterday arguing with my home warranty company to refund my service fee since your rep only was at my property for 3 minutes and did absolutely nothing to address my concerns or needs. I doubt most the employees are this way, but my experience with the rep I had come to my condo was really bad and because of that I would not recommend this company. read more

This was my first time working with this company. So far so good! They came the next morning, my unit was not cooling and it was hard to diagnose. One hard to find sensor wire had been chewed by a critter. Fix the wire and all is working well again. He also replaced a capacitor that was working but not to specification. Stay away from this company. Put in a service request for one of my AC units that wasn't working on 3/26. He came out one week later. Found nothing wrong. Said he made a few tweaks and that unit was low on coolant but he got it working. Fast forward to last week of April when I noticed it wasn't working again. Same problem with unit turning off and on. I reopened the service request on AHS system. After a week I got no response and called AHS. Turns out he cancelled the request. AHS reopened again and because it was escalated to their management he finally called. I explained what was happening and all he could say was "this wasn't a recall" and that he couldn't come back until June. Clearly he didn't want to come back because it was going to cost him money(found that out after calling AHS and asking what a "recall" is). These contractors are required to return at no cost before 30 days. He tried to tell me it might not be the same problem and that it wasn't within 30 days. I just followed there system. I didn't select "recall". We shall see what AHS does. In the meantime, I would recommend not using this company at all. Clearly unethical. read more
