I would give 10 stars if I could. We have been using them for years, and they are trustworthy, reliable, and reasonably priced. Our a/c went out in 115-degree weather. We called them at night, and they were there the next day to fix it. We wouldn't use anyone else! read more

Paul came out for our Fall service check-up. Efficient and friendly, always prompt and professional. We've been customers for years - LJ is the best. read more

Paul and Jason are very fast reliable honest people if you need a/c work or repair I recommend 100 %.

Our AC unit quit early in the morning. Reached out to LJ and was given a 12-3 pm time window that day. I was happy to get someone out that quick but was delighted when Jace their technician arrived 1 hour 30 minutes early. The problem was diagnosed quickly and the repair cost was fair. Our experience has been great customer service and support. We have used LJ in the past and we will continue to do so. read more

Jason our tech was incredible and very thorough. Had an AC tuneup completed on three AC units. He explained the results in detail. No upsell, no BS. Just gave us the facts about our AC condenser and furnace condition. Very professional service, and cleaned up the insulation that dropped during his inspection. Quality people at LJ Refrigeration including Paul the owner and all of his support staff. Highly recommend them. read more

A simple review of excellent service. The technition arrived promptly and was knowledgeable and quite kind. I had many questions for him and he was patient and answered each one. He completed the requested routine check thoroughly and I have kept this business' card for future calls. I will continue using LJ Refrigeration for my basic AC checkups and any repairs that might be needed in the future. This company took care of my parents for years, and if they passed my father's approval I knew they were a good fit for me. Thank you! read more

Efficient, friendly and quick service. Always a great job and value from LJ Refrigeration!

Highly recommend LJ Refrigeration Co!! They sent a technician out the very next day, and Jason fixed our AC in under an hour! They were even able to find our warranty without any paperwork, which made everything so easy. With our wedding less than a month away, we were a little nervous about pricing, but they were incredibly affordable and so helpful. We'll definitely be using them for all of our HVAC needs from now on! read more

Jason provided superior service. LJ is best in Valley! Always on time, professional, and cost conscious.

I have been using LJ Refrigeration for over 20 years and have always had outstanding service from them. I highly recommend this company for all of your HVAC needs. read more

I haven't been this impressed in a LONG time...Beginning with scheduling us for the same day, Jason diagnosed the problem quickly. Knowledgable and efficient, he returned after hours on a Friday (7:00)pm to complete the repair so we wouldn't be without A/C over the weekend. They're my go-to from now on. read more

No attempt was made to fix my AC. I provided information about what might be wrong and requested that there be a refrigerant leak test since we had put a die pack in six weeks earlier. None was done, I was just told I needed a new unit and would be provided a quote. Unfortunately for them, I am actually a well informed older woman! 3 hours later I had another company come out that verified there was a refrigerant leak and fixed it. read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with them!!! They were out to the house in a couple of hours in the dead heat of the summer. The technician, Paul took one look at it and knew exactly what the problem was. A blown capacitor. The total cost for the fix was $245!!! No B. S. , no up price, no wait. What more could you ask for? Thanks Paul! I will recommend you guys to ALL my neighbors. read more

Had an appointment to fix the air handler that was in the attic that was buzzing and not making the blower fan go on. Jason came during the time scheduled and troubleshot the unit and got me back up and running the same day. It ended up needing a new motor (I was hoping it was only needing a new capacitor) but he explained everything to me in detail that was going on and it made complete sense. I appreciate him explaining everything to me and he didn't dumb it down. He is a very Knowledgable tech and I feel confident in what he did for me was necessary to get it working. He was also able to check that my 2 units were operating optimally and added some refrigerant if it needed it. I would definitely recommend them if you need your A/C repaired or re-charged. A pleasure to do business with. read more

Paul was very thorough and trustworthy! Gave me a good advice for my air conditioning replacement timing! Thank you!

I just had my annual A/C spring maintenance performed by Jason this afternoon and it suddenly occurred to me that I have never yet gotten around to leaving a Yelp review for this fine company - so allow me to rectify that right now. I first heard about L J through positive recommendations about three years ago on Nextdoor.com so made a note of them for my future reference. It was a good thing I did because it wasn't too long afterwards that my air conditioning stopped working - in the middle of summer! Despite it being peak heat season - and peak high demand for emergency service season - L J Refrigeration was able to fit me in and get my air conditioning working again THE VERY NEXT DAY - at a very reasonable price! Needless to say, I've made L J my go-to source for A/C maintenance and service and have hired them for annual maintenance each spring ever since - and will continue to do so. I highly, highly recommend them. read more

We've been using Paul and crew at LJ for years and fully trust their communication, responsiveness, service, troubleshooting expertise, repairs and prices. Highly recommend! read more

As a contractor in the valley and working in construction, I can say there are not of contractors I would trust anymore. However, LJ breaks the mold. After using them for several years, it seems the service gets better! They are quick with their responses and clear in their solutions presenting multiple options. I would not use anybody else for my HVAC technician and installer. read more

AC went out Sat. night Called Sun. and they were able to have Jason out Monday morning. Jason (Technician) is personable, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and goes to work. You get a real genuine touch! He actually cares about fixing your AC right the first time and keeping cost fair. I highly recommend LJ's for maintenance and repair. Family owned! Great people! read more

Jason at LG refrigeration has serviced our air conditioning for many years! He's thoughtful, knowledgeable, and the services always been beyond extraordinary! Today we had to replace both units due to their aging. Jen, Jason and the team exceeded our expectations in every way! This job was done hours prior to expectation, the team was extraordinarily thoughtful, respectful and efficient. If I was able to give them 20 Stars, I would and it still wouldn't be enough! Jen, Jason and gang.... Job week done! Our deepest thanks!! read more

LJ was recommended by a friend who uses them. They were the third call. The first was very expensive and I did not trust what they said. They pushed me to get a new unit. The second nice, less money but could not get the job done for weeks. LJ- Jennifer was fantastic. She understood, got the part I needed, scheduled the work to be done in less than one week. She went above and beyond! When Paul came out, he was professional, efficient and the best price with the best work. They were excellent! LJ is my refrigeration company ... Now I do not worry about losing my air conditioning in this heat. Thank you all at LJ! read more

A/C went out yesterday and got their number from the realtor who sold the home. Called at 5am and got the answering service. Spoke with them and they said that they would have someone call around 8am when the office opened. Received a call at 8:06 and let them know the issue and that the house temperature had gone up to 94°. They said they were booked for the day but they'd try to get someone out around noon if possible. Received a call from Jason at 11:40 that he would be at the house in 10 minutes. Found the problem right away, explained and showed what the issue was and got the A/C back working within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend to anyone that had any issues with their A/C. read more

Paul and the team from LJ Ref. absolutely exceeded expectations. Same-day service from time of request and an expeditious tune/up to the conditioning system. They even went above and beyond to identify and repair an air-handler leak that was driving up my electric bill! Not to mention my home is COOL again. Thanks Guys!! read more

I am extremely happy with LJ Refrigeration! Jennifer responded to me extremely quickly and stayed in great communication with me. They were able to send our Paul within the same day and earlier than anticipated. We addressed our problems with Paul and he was able to resolve everything right away. He was very patient and informational by providing answers to all the questions that we had. He also gave up great advice on how to upkeep our system. A huge recommendation from me to utilize this company for any of your HVAC needs!! read more

I highly recommend LJ Refrigeration! Unfortunately this week with excessive heat warnings, my home air conditioner quit working. After several days without AC and lackluster response/service from two other companies, I found LJ Refrigeration through a friend's recommendation. While waiting to get quotes back from two other businesses, I called and spoke with Jennifer. She was super friendly, helpful and responsive. Within one hour, She had Paul promptly visit my home (no charge) and within two hours, they sent me two recommendations and told me they could complete the service that day. I decided to replace the entire unit and within hours, my new AC unit was up and running. Both Jennifer and Paul were extremely helpful and friendly. Despite the bad news of my AC unit going out, these guys took outstanding care of my needs. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing AC service! read more

I wouldn't use anyone but LJ for my heating and cooling and water heater! They are efficient, clean, timely, professional and stand behind their products and work. No price gouging and no selling you something you don't need! read more

Been with LJ since our first ac service in PHX almost 20 years ago. Honest and reliable company no bs. Get on their yearly service program and Paul will keep you comfortable year around. My unit went out Sunday afternoon 8/30 and Paul just dropped by EARLIER THAN EXPECTED on Monday and fixed my unit in less than 30 minutes. That's why we love LJ Refrigeration and will always recommend their services!! read more

I recently had our A/C units serviced by LJ Refigeration. The service technician let me know when he was on the way, and did the work quickly and efficiently. That part was excellent. I had been quoted a price from the company through yelp. When finished, he gave me the bill. It was more than 3 times what I was quoted up front. This was due to the Freon he has to use. I paid the bill even though I wasn't happy. Mostly because I was not informed up front that it would be extra for things like that. Or that it could be that much more. I don't know what Freon costs, but it seemed pretty excessive. Again, I have no problem with the work or the technician. But a customer should be informed up front about any additional costs and what they might be. If I had been, it wouldn't have been that much of a shock. read more

I've been using LJ Refrigeration for my business as personal home for about 4 years and the level of service they provide is Quality. Truly appreciate this company and what they do for me. Would highly recommend them. read more

I'm a sparse reviewer type, but occasionally I feel compelled to do one. I've had both Jason and Paul come out and service my AC unit. Found the company here on Yelp. Each time I have been glad I chose them. Top to bottom professionals from first contact (Jennifer) 'til handshake for a job well done. And, you don't pay more for thier great service. Honesty and great value here. Have confidence in your choice with LJ Refrigeration! read more

This company amazed us twice already with perfect customer service. We got a mailer for a March special to inspect the units. Jason the technician showed me everything I needed to know about the units and was very fair and I completely trusted his recommendations. Today about a month later one of the units suddenly stopped cooling. We called and they explained they were very busy but would try to squeeze us in. Jason again came and quickly assessed that the battery exploded and replaced and repaired. Didn't even charge which was unnecessary and kind. Can't say enough about this family owned business. They have high quality customer service and technical service. read more

I can't tell you how refreshing it is when you meet hard working and honest people. I had penguin air tell me I needed a new 3200 condenser on a unit that is only 6 years old, I had another company give me a quote for double the price of his repair. Finally I asked around and being new to AZ I decided to trust the reviews on next door, and found LJ. He came and had the AC up and running in 20 min. I couldn't believe it. Honestly, I'm almost in tears just thinking about how much I appreciate this company and the money they saved me. So many AC companies take advantage of women and I'm so glad I found this company. Thank you!!!! read more
