Half of my order - well labeled, sealed and quite frozen
    World T.

By chance I happened on this gem! It's modest exterior hides the wealth of frozen dumplings and buns! The shop is very clean, freezers with top slide glass doors, well-labeled bags of 20-50 pieces of frozen dumplings, a side freezer of other goodies and the green onion buns caught my eye. The buns are huge! The lady helping me was very sweet, and even gave me a bag for my other groceries I was juggling as I perused the choices. At home, I steamed the buns for about 10-15 mins on low flame after the water was boiling. They're just buns, so no specific flavor. The dumplings can be microwaved in a bowl with water. I first started w (5) halfway submerged dumplings and nuked for 3 mins at high. After cleaning the microwave plate off of boiled over water, I nuked it for 2 more mins. It was super hot so after a couple mins waiting I ate them all! Tasty by themselves without sauce! This is a bargain of a place and so clean!

The lady was very friendly. She was very nice. The store has a lot of items which are frozen and ready to take home mostly buns and dumplings. I got the pastries to try. Six for $15. Homemade food is always good. Support them in Newark community.

Small family store with lot of frozen dumplings You have to buy box packages no individual pastry and no English. Only Chinese speaking but they are very friendly. The pastries was really good as it's homemade, not too sweet and very fresh. I will definitely come back. I love the pastries with black sesame filling.

They only had two people working and there were about 5 tables of diners. These two servers were running around non-stop and you had to flag them down every time. They didn't have time to refill our tea pot so they just left a big jug of hot water at our table to refill it ourselves. The restaurant is large, but feels very old and dated. Some chairs were taller than others, carpet needs to be replaced, its in desperate need of a deep cleaning, refresh and remodel. The food was just OK. Some stuff was overcooked and our fish dish and some of the crab was a little under cooked, while some dishes were swimming in oil. Between 8 adults and 2 kids, we had about 9-10 dishes with lots of leftovers (noodles) to take home. Since my mom picked one of the preset menu options, our bill was over $500 for mediocre Chinese food!!! Let's just say, I have no intention of ever coming back.

Service was attentive with refilling water but I had to ask multiple times for more napkins which got a little annoying. The restaurant also got really busy as it got closer to peak lunch time so I imagine that played a role. One thing that kind of put me off was my water cup looking dirty or having something in it. Hard to say what it was but it made me hesitant to keep drinking from it. I think my rating would be closer to 3.5 stars if I could do half stars because of their service and cleanliness. We did come on a busy Saturday afternoon. This type of restaurant is not one where you should linger and socialize for long, just come fill up and then be on your way lol. There was no one when we came inside so we got our orders in pretty quick. We ordered: Food - (3 out of 5 stars) 1. Matsuzaka Meat with Garlic Sauce 2. Juicy Pork Dumplings (6 Pieces) 3. Green Onion Pancake with Egg (6 Pieces) 4. Sautéed Plain Asparagus 5. Salted Egg & Yolk with Tofu 6. Prawns Fried Rice 7.
