After I paid, a young female employee took a drink that I had already purchased directly out of my bag without asking for my permission or offering any explanation. Once an item has been paid for, an employee has no right to remove it from a customer's bag. Because this business only accepts cash, I could not dispute the transaction as I could with a credit card. I'm sharing my experience to warn other customers: carefully check your bag and receipt immediately after paying. The name "YUKI" appears on my receipt, although I cannot confirm whether that was the employee involved. More often than not if you're not getting a soupy item like wontons or soup noodles, they will offer you a bowl of borscht (very Hong Kong like) and some garlic toast to go with your meal. They have printed menu with English translation. They also have white boards with items written in Chinese. The restaurant is situated in a large shopping center, so there's plenty of parking. Portions have gotten ridiculously, egregiously tiny! On a random Saturday night in July, I decided to patronize around 9 pm or so. On the white menu is one of my usual favorites, Baked Greek Pork Chop over Rice (焗希臘豬扒飯). Similar to the regular Baked Pork Chop over Rice, it has always come with TWO pork chops about the size of my hand. As a matter of fact, this is the common standard for ALL HK cafés. This time around? It was two pieces, alright... but it was a SINGLE pork chop sliced in half! I was so aghast in disappointment, I had to flag down the waitress to send it back to the kitchen. Fortunately, they remedied the issue, awarding me an even bigger second piece - and who knows what other type of extra "sauce" added to it - but the damage had been done. It was only because I knew them that they were kind enough to rectify the issue, or else they would've likely told me to kick rocks. I feel bad for any new customers unfamiliar with the place and/or HK café cuisine in general coming in thinking that this is the normal, acceptable portion. I know during the pandemic, times are tough, but they have already raised the prices considerably. It's a much tougher decision spending my stimulus money here as opposed to the myriad of other HK cafés in the area. I'm still loyal to Sister Fong though, so perhaps I'll give them another chance, but if I get gypped again, they might need to officially change their name to (Un)Fairwood! read more

WHAT A MESS !!! Upon getting home and discovering the mess, half the Ox Tongue noodles were still in its container, but the other half was now at the bottom of the plastic bag ... dilemma ... edible or not ??? Good place for a comforting meal, feels very homey I just wanted a hot drink to warm up after being in the cold and my friend wanted a good meal to fill him up and we both left satisfied It is cash only but we didn't realize that until we got the the check so we were very worried because we didn't have enough cash on us but fortunately they take venmo too (but only my friend had venmo, so if I was there myself it would've been bad ) Will definitely be back but will make sure to have cash on me haha read more
