The guy loaded them up and I drove off, again very friendly and helpful. My project started two weeks after that. My contractor went to open up the boxes and started to work. When he got to the third box, five out of six tiles were cracked or broken. My contractor told me they should stand by the tile and do an exchange. So I called them to let them know and that I was in the middle of my project and needed another box and that one box was broken, so would I be able to bring these pieces back and exchange for a new box? They informed me that once the tile leaves their store, they aren't responsible anymore! Do they think I enjoyed driving another 30 miles to deal with this in the middle of my project? So I asked I'm supposed to just buy another box with no assistance? She informed me that it was company policy! I asked her to talk to a manager, she came back and said, sorry we can't do anything for you. WOW! Thanks for letting me know you have such a crappy policy and ZERO customer service! I should've shopped at the TILE SHOP! Next time we will be.

I didn't hear anything back for a couple days, so I emailed back and had no reply. So then I called them and was told that I'd have a reply to my email by the next day. Near the end of the next day, I still had no reply to my email, so I walked down to their office and inquired in person; I was told that the person handling my project, the owner Katie, was not even in that day but that I'd get a reply the next day. Well, no big surprise - still no reply the next day! I guess some people just do not want business and don't have the common courtesy to communicate with their customers, especially when it is made clear that there are time constraints. I had much higher hopes for this project and using their services but I will be bringing my business elsewhere.

They had an excellent selection in their showroom of stone plus they had a nice clearance department out on the lot that you could look through yourself. The young man that helped me in the showroom was pleasant and efficient. The young man they sent out to measure and do the template was excellent. He said he had been working for 20 years doing this. And the crew that they sent out with the quartz to install and cut the holes for the sink and plumbing fixtures were excellent. It was the same stone, but with a different name that I was looking at at Menards. I believe I got a comparable price with service that I trusted. There was no way that I was going to trust Menards with this portion of the project. The pictures show the countertop installation with temporary plumbing fixtures. The bathroom is only half done.
