Fantastic family-owned company to work with. I received quotes from several companies for my kitchen remodel, and Cabinetpak was the most attentive to my requirements, easy to work with and competitive in pricing. It was refreshing to work with a family-owned business vs. a big commercial company where you are just a number. With Cabinetpak, you get the benefit of close personalized attention and high quality product/service all in one place. They will definitely go an extra mile for a customer. I absolutely love how my kitchen turned out, was very happy with the process from design through install, and would highly recommend them.

These are the old kitchen cabinets. The old ones were golden oak, and the new ones are called "oyster" colored with a cappuccino glaze.

I was a little skeptical because I thought they had discontinued their fabric line a few years earlier. I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric selection is officially back! The only thing is that you no longer need to cut your own from a bolt; instead, they sell it in precut 3 meter length. The patterns and quality are just as awesome as they used to be, and it is really convenient if you're working on home textiles or quick craft projects. The only drawback to our visit was the timing. My only piece of advice is to ensure you do not arrive 30 minutes before the store closes. IKEA is simply too massive to navigate efficiently under a time crunch, and you will not have enough time to browse properly. Give yourself a solid window to shop!

I've been an IKEA fan since they debuted decades ago in the States, and since have been to their stores all over North America and Japan. This one has everything that you would expect, and their customer service was IKEA-level great as always. Had to open our visit with one of their delicious lunch, dining on Swedish meatballs with grave, mashed potatoes, and tasty veggies. It's good pricing, clean, easy. I love this place, and we also bought some household items that are both useful and unique.

Nice tile, nice work, nasty sales staff and terrible communicationonce the sale is made…read more 2nd TL; DR: don't think the tile you order is what you will get - it's your responsibility to go to the store and verify pre installation. We weren't told that. Mostly I'm writing this to save someone else from our situation. Our project turned out fine in terms of craftsmanship, but we ended with tile we hadn't picked out. We worked with a salesman and picked out 3 sets of tile...the backsplash was specifically chosen bcs it had subtle yellow tones. When the tile installer came out with the tile, it didn't look like the tile we had ordered. It was gray tone and not yellowed. I double checked all the paper work, and called the store and everything matched. I thought I must have remembered wrong. So, I visited the Tile Shop to see the tile first hand, and that's where the events happened that makes me give them a big BUYER BEWARE. The first salesman who approached me was downright nasty when I explained the situation to me. He told me they don't make mistakes, and that's why I should order the amount of tile they recommend. (Makes no sense about color.) He was so rude I didn't want to talk to him and I found the original salesman. He agreed the tile shade was different and shrugged his shoulders. He told me basically that it had been my responsibility to come in and check the tile they ordered for me before it left the store. No one had ever told us that. So the only option is to tear it out and buy new. Can't attach pics thru Yelp, I was able to on google reviews.

After working with Plekkenpol for over five years and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on…read moreat least three different projects, this is not a review we expected to write. We have referred them to family and friends--three of those referrals have resulted in projects--and until recently, trusted them without hesitation. Historically, price transparency was something they were willing to provide. Unfortunately, something has changed. Most recently, we were quoted $30-35K for a relatively straightforward mudroom remodel and back door installation. When the formal bid came in at a single lump sum number over $40K with some modest scope additions, we asked for additional transparency into that singular number to understand how much each part of the project was costing so we could determine where adjustments could be made. We were told that a further breakdown of the lump sum would not be provided. Over the next two weeks, we removed multiple significant items from the project scope, yet the total price barely changed in response. We asked repeatedly for greater transparency to understand what was still comprising the lump sum price we were being quoted and never received it. At a certain point, the math just did not add up, and it became increasingly difficult to reconcile the number we were being quoted by Plekkenpol with the project scope. When we expressed frustration with the lack of clarity, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. We were told that regardless of project size--even on significantly larger projects--additional price transparency would not be shared and that we should trust them that we are getting the best price. To be clear, this was not about the money--it was about transparency and partnership. We simply wanted to know what we were being charged for. Because Plekkenpol would not tell us how they arrived at their lump sum price, we ultimately chose to end our long-standing relationship and move on. We recently recommended to another family that they consider Plekkenpol, but after this experience, feel obligated to advise them not to proceed due to Plekkenpol's unwillingness to provide transparency in pricing.

We hired Plekkenpol in 2021 to build an outdoor space; Pavilion, kitchen, fireplace. We met with…read morethe project manager in April of 2021 aligned on a plan and signed the contract that May. I hadn't heard anything by July and I reached out and my email bounced. I learned then that Dan had retired and I would have a new project manager. Erik was rude and obnoxious. He insulted me about the contract and the options I had selected. He forced us to renegotiate everything in the contract adding exceptional additional costs. Even when it was clear in the contract they would just tell us we're wrong. They destroyed our pool deck and patio when cutting the stone. They failed to reinstall the patio pavers to plan or properly (according to another contractor which we hired to install our paver driveway). It's 2024 and our job is still incomplete. They hired an attorney to try to scare me into paying them another $24,000 (on a project which is in total around $320k - $160k for Plekkenpol) just to part ways. We have quotes now to repair their work in excess of $65,000. There are a lot of people who have gotten good work done by Plekkenpol, but this project was a nightmare for us. If you choose them I wish you the best of luck. They do not care about quality and their owner has zero integrity.
