From the initial meetings and planning with Kory, to the day-to-day oversight of Chris - we have nothing but good things to say. There are always surprises when you're gutting someone else's build, so it was reassuring to have people on the ground who were knowledgable, experienced, and honest. Communication with Chris was great. And budget-wise, we ended up pretty close to where we expected to land. Yes, there were change orders; but they were almost always due to expanding the scope of the job -- and not because we were being gouged. We also really liked that RR has their own cabinet shop, and a crew who has been with the company long-term. Lastly, and people don't usually write this, but it's important: they're all nice guys. The manager Jack claimed he needed to cut the pipe under the sink because it had corrosion on it. Wrong!! The worst gaslighting I have ever seen. We got a different plumber out and guess what? The sink was leaking underneath and he said it's because Brandon didn't shut the water off all the way! On May 6, 2025 I met with Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie to have them do a refurbish of my…read morefront porch and a $1550.00 deposit was required for them to schedule the work. I decided not to move forward with them on June 6, 2025 and requested a return of my deposit. Today is July 16, 2025 and as they have said the would not refund the credit card I had put the deposit down with I am still waiting for a check from them for the refund. I have spoken to there office a number of times and it has always been the same, Oh the check didn't make it out as promised but it is now on its way. I deal with contractors for a living and thought I would give this group a try for items around my own home but as you can tell I am very disappointed with this company and I would not trust them to be truthful to their word. I believe the office manager is Molly, although I have never been able to speak to her so that may be a fake name they use but I would not ever suggest anyone use this local chapter of Handyman Connection.
