Affordable Granite and Cabinetry's "Granite Guard Lifetime Warranty" is an absolute scam. Our…read moregranite started crumbling after a handful of years and because THEY don't have our granite anymore they said our only option is to pay $7,000+ for new granite... the "Project Manager" was very quick to reply with an estimate for $7,000+ dollars but has yet to respond to multiple emails attempts over three weeks when he was asked for an explanation on how they can have a lifetime warranty when they stop carrying granite... Clearly this company is only looking for the quick hit and not long term customers. I would highly recommend avoiding doing business with them based on the lack of standing behind their crumbling products, and the lack of customer service.

The slab layout was never discussed with me, which resulted in a crude layout that was not well thought out. I contacted my sales rep who replied that she understood why I wasn't pleased and that she forwarded my email to the manager and owner. I never received a response. To make a long story short, I continued to reach out until FINALLY the owner agreed to replace a section of slab (after two weeks of begging). This time they had me approve a visual slab layout, which I did, and then they installed it opposite of what I approved! After pointing out my displeasure for another mistake, I was told the sales rep or owner would call me. It has been two days and NOTHING. This is not a company who makes customer service a priority. Once they have your money, if you have an issue, do not expect a call back. You are out of luck. I will never recommend this company to anyone looking for countertops or cabinetry! STAY AWAY!!!

We first met up with Tom ( the company President and designer), He measured the area, sketched up some drawings and we all discussed what we thought would be fun, great looking and functional. A few days later, he emailed us blueprints and we met again with another designer, craftsmen. We changed our ideas a few times more before coming up with what we decided on. We scheduled a build and they were very good about keeping to their installation date. A well experienced carpenter showed up and within one day had it all installed. The next day the countertop crew came out to measure and laser scan for the corian countertop. A week later that was installed - perfectly.... We had the black subway tiles installed and had a family gathering to show off our "New Wine Bar". It was a huge hit, everyone loved it. What a improvement to our new home. I would totally recommend Charles Cabinets to anyone who wants perfection.

They were professional, they cared about us, they were genuinely interested in how we were going to use the space and what would be best for us, they listened, and they made suggestions. In the end, we have the most amazing kitchen I could ever dream of. It is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is A+++++. The kitchen was installed a month ago, and I still marvel at it daily. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it! Their attentiveness to detail is over the top. The cabinets are made perfectly. Every joint is perfect, the stain color is gorgeous, the grain of the wood is amazing. The grain flows from one front of a drawer to the next front of a drawer. It's one big piece of wood! I am super anal and a perfectionist. They are too! I can't say enough good things about Pat and the whole crew there. Knowing what I know now about Charles Cabinets, if they were booked up with work such that I had to wait a year to have them make my cabinets, I would. It would be so worth the wait. If you are at all wondering who you should hire to design and build your cabinets, wonder no more...Choose Charles Cabinets and you won't be disappointed. I would hire Charles Cabinets again in a heart beat... In fact, I'm going to. To make a vanity for the bathroom!

We have been working with Mingle and Studio M on a project that isn't really huge, but we have…read morereceived amazing customer service and attention every single time we come in. I have been working with Carly from Studio M who is coordinating the design side of the project. To address the previous reviewers complaint about Mingle not taking small jobs, there is something this reviewer is leaving out. Studio M will not contribute design help until you sign a contract for their time as they are a separate but complimentary entity that provides extra design services for Mingle clients. It would be absurd to expect a design firm to provide free services without a contract. Also, it would be absurd to expect a company to place an order with their supplier without a deposit. So, it is possible the communication from the previous reviewer was a bit poor. But, back to my review. First of all, our project was well under 50K. I would estimate it around 20-25K. And I have to admit that Mingle's opulent showroom initially intimidated me so much, I went through the doors with a great deal of skepticism. However, I am happy to have been proven very wrong about the perception that they would only work with big jobs. I was very upfront with them about the size of our new home and they remained unflinchingly helpful. Love love love working with Carly and Mike. We came to Mingle in a panic after realizing the cabinet supplier the builder was using just wasn't providing the service we needed. After losing weeks with the previous supplier, we were up against a wall, and Mike worked quickly with my husband to put together drawings and a quote. Then, Carly and I tweeked the layout and wood selection. It was an extremely quick process that went smoothly because of Mike and Carly's the high levels of experience, expertise and professionalism. Because Carly is an independent designer, I am able to bring items, swatches, and ideas from outside of Mingle, while utilizing the amazing selection Mingle offers. The process Studio M offers is really very fluid and flexible and helped me immensely in getting design decisions made and move our project along quickly. I am not a designer and I have never liked the selection process, but working with Carly has been extremely enjoyable because of her ability to assess and offer up reasonable options that fit my needs. Our meetings have been at Mingle, on-site and at a tile shop so far, but I look forward to using Carly's services throughout this design selection process and so appreciate her ability to help set priorities in the design and building process.

Go elsewhere and don't waste your time with them. Here is our experience: We dropped in on a weekend to discuss a remodeling project for our Maple Grove home. We were hoping for guidance on how their services work and to get started on our own remodel project, but we were told that they cannot talk about our project until we sign a contract and agree to work with them. At this point in our project we were still trying to determine if the remodel we wanted was physically possible (i.e., could we knock out certain walls and move laundry machines, etc.). They said we can bring in pictures and they can look at it - but I was more comfortable having a contractor actually see the space in person to make that determination. Again, I was told that I would need to sign a contract before any of that could happen. I asked if we could at least speak with a contractor first to determine if it was feasible; I wasn't about to commit to a project and provide a retainer fee when we didn't know if it would even be possible. They reluctantly agreed to send me a few names of contractors so I could reach out to them. I gave my phone number & email to the Mingle representative, but we never heard back from her. I later followed up with an email to her and she never responded. A royal brush off and great way to do business, Mingle. Not impressed in the least. We thought we'd give them another chance, however. Maybe we just got the wrong person and would have better luck next time. My husband called and got directed to the appropriate person - but had to leave a message. That message - left at least 2 weeks ago - remains unreturned and I have no confidence that they will ever call. Another fumble for team Mingle! They will, however, see me one more time - when I triumphantly return to Pretty Woman them with the receipts from my completed project. Maybe that will encourage them to pay more attention to customers in the future; I'm not sure how they can manage to run their business otherwise. Good luck to them.
