They had used vehicle I was interested in so I texted one of the salesperson and was told vehicle was being serviced and they would let me know when it was ready to test drive, didn't hear anything for a week and a few days so I texted salesperson to only find out he quit so I called dealership about vehicle and was told by another salesperson that vehicle was being serviced and they would contact me as soon as vehicle was ready to test drive so I waited for a week and a few days and didn't hear anything so I called salesperson back and was told they sold vehicle. read more

We had our nissan juke in after a belt a day pully broke. The alternator pulley and belt replaced 1300.00. Less than 2 weeks later the alternator they put in went out. Now the run around after the alternator was tested. Battery was tested and we have pics of both. I've had it with the crap this place has went too. When we get our car back it will never go back. They have one choice clean up their mess and we pay nothing or I start making phone calls. This was their negligence. Never will we go back. Nissan hanover isn't worth it. read more

Awful. Purchased a used car through this dealer from their affiliate's lot. The purchase process took hours (although I did get a better interest rate than my bank offered). The car had multiple mechanical issues which I had to fix within the first 30 days and a major malfunction within 6 months. No apologies or help offered at all except from the salesman, Rigo - who seems to be a genuinely nice guy. The manager and folks in the title office are outright rude and clearly do not know the value of good customer service. They sold me a warranty without telling me that there was already a certified pre-owned warranty in place, did not send the paperwork required for me to register the car until after the 30-day tag was expired, flubbed the paperwork so that the lienholder was not listed on the title, and failed to refund the cancelled warranty over a month after cancellation. Rigo is an good salesman and seems to understand the principle of selling through relationships. It is a shame he is employed by a dealership that treats his customers so poorly after the sale. read more

My Mountaineer started braking down regularly, so we went window shopping at Hanover Nissan. A few hours later, we are driving out in a 2016 4wd Rogue. Brand new, SV trim level. 27mpg City- 33 mpg hwy. very comfortable, rides nice. The saleswoman and the manager really bent over backwards to get us into the vehicle they knew we would like. It worked, we drove off in a wonderful 4wd SUV. read more

After our horrible experience with their service department back in August 2018 (see my September 20 review), they had the gall to phone our home the other day and leave a message on our answering machine to advise us our Sentra is due for servicing (no, it is not!), please phone them for a service appointment (I deleted the message). After our experience with them last August, we wouldn't do business with them if they were the last dealership and service shop in the country (which they should be fully aware of). Our 2012 Nissan Juke wasn't running right and it needed inspected. We stopped at Hanover Nissan to see if they could look at it. They gave us an appointment a week and a half later anc told us if it breaks down in the meantime to have it towed there. Breakdown it did. We had it towed to the Hanover Nissan dealership. They were able to look at it a few days later. Initially, they told us the air conditioner compressor was broke and the serpentine belt. We told them to fix it. Then a couple days later they called and said the alternator was bad and needed replaced. We agreed to the repair. Just when we were expecting to get our car back they called again... they told me, "your car is running but the air conditioner doesn't work" They told me that the module that runs the AC that's linked to the car's computer was bad. They quoted an additional $880 plus labor...this was on top of the already $2100 repair bill. I asked the service tech if he was sure it wasn't a fuse or something. He said no, that the fuses were all checked. We decided to take the car home without Air Conditioning at that time. We picked our Juke up and paid our $2100 repair bill. That night we bought/financed a new Nissan Rogue at Hanover Nissan. (Up to this point we trusted them.) We took our Juke (uninspected, because I guess they forgot) home along with our new Rogue. A few days later my husband was tinkering with the Juke, trying to see if he could fix it himself. UNDER THE HOOD, UNDER AN INTAKE TUBE HE FOUND A SMALL BOX WITH A FEW FUSES IN. (He had looked up the repair manual online) ONE OF THOSE FUSES RAN THE AC. A "10 AMP" FUSE...IT WAS BLOWN..HE REPLACED that fuse and guess what...COLD AIR blasted out!!! The AC has worked since. How much is a 10 amp fuse? A couple cents? If we had agreed to it, they would have charged us almost $1000 more for a part we didn't need! It made me wonder if we actually needed all the other parts they replaced. I contacted the service manager, Frank. He said he would look into it. A week later when I didn't hear from him I contacted the General Manager. When I didn't hear from him, I posted a complaint on their Facebook page. Before that day was out, the General Manager contacted me. He said he would look into the matter. Days later the service manager called. He asked what they could do to get us to trust them again. My husband and I talked and agreed we wanted the cost of labor refunded to us. In addition, we wanted our Juke inspected AND any future parts we need were to be at dealer cost. (This would be a deterrent against putting unnecessary parts on our car for extra profit. ) The service manager refused. He said they would inspect the car and give us $300 credit towards parts...how would we know we actually needed the parts!?? They almost ripped us off once! My husband told them this happened either due to incompetence or dishonesty. The service manager said it was neither. Now we have this Rogue we purchased from them. (We love the car) We do not trust this dealership. How can we possibly get our new car serviced there. *****IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR THERE TO GET REPAIRED. MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY NEED ALL THE PARTS THEY ARE REPLACING!!! ****I'm contacting the DMV and State Attorney General's office to file a complaint. Have they done this to others? read more
