Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. No, but you can book a flight and come within 24 hours and I can take the key. What!!??? Yeah okay Criswell!!! I have nothing else going on in my life and will just run and pay the most expensive flight to get there.. "Well if you give me the flight confirmation no one else can show the vehicle..And if you arrive in a few days it won't get sold.." Ahhh isn't that the same as holding a vehicle!!??? But me putting money down solidifies that. Versus me booking a flight and then calling to give my confirmation and someone else is already looking at it and in finance at that exact moment to purchase it!!! Wouldn't it be better to just take a deposit!!???? Now this doesn't reflect my rep. She was super kool we had a great conversation over the phone. But this is Chrysler Fiat for you.And specifically Criswell!!! And so you know I was looking at a 22 4Runner. You couldn't pay me to buy anything from Chrysler. My wife has her karma ten fold right now cause of the piece of crap 2018 Wrangler thats going to cost about $7k plus in repairs cause she didn't listen to me about getting one and keeping it when the lease ended. The point is though.. The GM of this store doesn't take a deposit to hold a vehicle and they won't negotiate price. And want you to jump to do business with them cause they have the so called lowest rates in the 500 mile radius around them. The funny part is.. That is advertised price not out the door!! Any smart shoper knows this. Stay away from sales people who only sell you whats on the menu and don't provide a solution to your problem. The best sales people are problem solvers. Not problem creators!!! But if you want to go see the circus its alive and well in this town.

When I spoke with Service Manager John about it, without hesitation he made it right, ordered a new wiper at his cost (even though a sign is clearly displayed that they are not responsible), and installed it. He was quick to get to me and was super nice and helpful. Due to the battery being completely dead and corroded we couldn't get the car into neutral so he helped get it into neutral. Additionally once the car was on the truck he asked if any keys on the key ring I might need which I hadn't even thought about. Overall it was a great experience super quick and very helpful. Way better than other experiences I've had in the past.

I called AAA to tow my truck to a dealer as it has no key. AAA sent A&D. The A&D driver said it…read morewould require dollies or skates, and AAA wouldn't allow them to use those. He also said they would have to tow it from the rear and because it had a hard, folding bed cover (factory installed) his boss would not allow them to tow it. Afraid the cover would blow off and damage the cab (not likely with a folding hard cover). I called AAA back and they are sending another company. They confirmed that their carriers use dollies, skates and whatever is necessary all the time. So, if you want a bunch of excuses as to why they can't tow your vehicle - call A&D. If you don't want to waste your time - call another towing company.

They were able to diagnose the problem, give him an estimate which was more than reasonable, I thought (Especially compared to costs in the DMV), and they got the work done right away. He was back on the road and made it to his destination in no time. They were really pleasant to talk with and you didn't feel like you were getting overcharged. My husband said he was going to recommend them to everybody, and having looked up their website and finding out about their business (and knowing somebody in the Frederick, MD or Thurmont, MD area might need a mechanic sometime, for routine maintenance or car repairs on Domestic and foreign vehicles), I wanted to recommend Gateway Automotive in Thurmont, MD. I love places that make you feel like "the customer comes first"! That is so hard to find these days, and some thing I didn't know... They work has a nationwide repair warranty, which is great since we don't live in Maryland.
