    Address of hotel..

So I got a room for 1 night..I was charged $250 for 1 night stay..Then you have to pay 3rd party to park in the parking lot after spending $250 at the hotel..Wasn't even told what the rate was had to see what they took out my account the next day when I left..the rooms weren't terrible but hopefully you aren't staying for more then a day because the room fridges didn't even hold my 12 pack of beer!!

The Hanover Marriott is not up to the standard of other Marriott properties and should be downgraded to a Four Points by Sheraton at best or Holiday Inn. It fails to deliver in cleanliness, noise, and customer service. I stayed here for a work meeting and was provided a room not fully cleaned with a complimentary water half drunk. The walls are very thin and I could hear yelling from one side and another's white noise machine running until 2:30 am. The hotel's open entryway rises up to the 4th floor carrying sound to rooms on the 2-4th floors whose hallway overlooks the lobby, making you feel like you are sitting in the middle of all the noise. Any items delivered by DoorDash or Instacart, etc are left by hotel staff on a long table across the front desk creating an opportunity for food to be tampered with and other deliveries stolen, not to mention a cluttered eyesore in the lobby. Room furnishings are dated and staff is not always pleasant. Upon checking out the front desk person greeted me non-verbally by just pointing to the counter with his back turned to me signaling he'd help me at that desk rather than saying "good morning, are you checking out". I won't be staying here again for any work trips. This hotel needs much improvement before I'd ever consider this a standard Marriott property.

Great stay in this Marriott that is very centrally located in the town. Location is great and close to stores. Restaurants and shops are not far away. Service was excellent and very friendly. Rooms were clean. They have a nice coffee machine for free coffee, hot chocolate, etc., available in the morning. Two restaurants on property. The pub was really good. I will definitely stay again.

I have really come to like this hotel! As I am working in Jersey twice a month , it has become my home away from home! Right now it's so pretty as they have all the Fall flowers planted in the grounds! The staff are so nice and a participant thank you so Mercy who works in the concierge lounge in the evenings. She is so lovely and remembered that last visit I was flying cross coast to see my daughter in College and asked how she was! She is a lovely person and so helpful! And speaking of the lounge - it's great! Lots of healthy breakfast choices and raw veggies, small snacks and hummus for the evening! Rooms are comfortable, quiet and it's always great staying here!

Here for a 3 day stay to attend #LuciConNJ (the Netflix show Lucifer). The common areas are clean and fairly standard, except for the immense glass light fixture on the ceiling when you walk in. Very cool. The meeting rooms seem--well--like meeting rooms. Fairly plain, but clean and unobtrusive. The hotel restaurant/bar "The Auld Shebean" is cute and cozy. We were able to take our drinks out into the lobby, since it was also PACKED with Lucifans. Easily ordered DoorDash to the hotel at 8 PM, which was definitely a bonus!! We have a double on the 3rd floor. The room is well-appointed with clean tile floors, a huge smart tv, a safe, a pod coffee maker (have not seen coffee, but it may be hiding), and a small fridge. (No microwave?). A built-in desk, ergonomic desk chair, comfy sitting chair, and small table round out the room. There is a full length mirror on the wall, which seems fairly rare for hotel rooms. The alarm clock has usb plugs, and there are reading lights on the headboards. One set of small drawers and a closet are available. The bathroom is stocked with "This Works" products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash attached to the wall, as well as bars of soap) that smell divine. Shower has glass doors and an adjustable rainfall shower head with separate sprayer. Fancy. The beds are SO comfortable, and come with 4 pillows each of varying firmness. Sheets are crisp cotton, and the blankets are both cool and warm, if that makes sense. Overall, it is a nice hotel at a decent price for the area.

Nice hotel. Clean, well maintained, awesome comfortable beds and pillows. I prefer a carpeted floor, they had wood floors but a few rugs around. My toes were cold lol. Nice clean bathroom and amenities. There is a breakfast lunch type restaurant, as well as a full service restaurant and bar inside. It's an Irish pub. Good location, other restaurants in the area.

Empty parking lot, zero demand, and about 20 bucks to park your vehicle.

When I first reached out by email, Alex responded within about 10 minutes. From that moment on he was incredibly helpful, organized, and easy to work with. He walked us through all of the options and helped us create a plan that worked perfectly for our event. One of our biggest priorities was having the food served buffet-style instead of a sit-down lunch, and Alex made sure that was arranged exactly the way we wanted. The food was excellent and everything ran smoothly during the event. Originally I planned to do the decorations myself, but Alex told me they offer decoration packages. My daughter-in-law wanted a jungle theme, which they had available. Alex even shared photos from a similar event he had done in the same room, which helped us picture how everything would look. When we arrived, the decorations were absolutely stunning and far exceeded our expectations. We had family and friends traveling from all over New Jersey as well as Boston, and Morristown turned out to be the perfect central location for everyone. Alex also made sure the children attending had their own menu and even provided coloring sheets and crayons, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything about the day was seamless, beautiful, and exactly what we hoped for. Alex truly made the entire planning process stress-free, and the event itself was perfect. We would absolutely host another event here in the future. Thank you, Alex and the team at Tiff's Tavern, for making such an important day for our family truly unforgettable.

The rooms were so cold that my guests had to wear their jackets the entire time. Their solution was to use several small space heaters throughout which didn't do anything to warm up the rooms and only managed to continuously trip the circuits and shut out the lights. Also, do not use their in house catering. I wish I knew the name of the caterer they used because they would deserve a review of their own. The penne vodka was so spiciy you could not eat it. Normally the pasta would be one of the first things to go so you know it was really bad - it was barely touched. How do you screw up the pasta? Thankfully I had ordered a couple of extra trays of food because there would not have been enough food otherwise. Not sure how they calculate their food portions or maybe Mike just needs to review my food order with the caterer to see what was ordered vs what was delivered. Because definitely something is off. No complaints about the staff. They just couldn't overcompensate for the bad experience.

The nearest elevator was a single elevator (not a bank of elevators), and it went out twice during our 4-day stay! Our room was spacious - felt very tired but it did have a white duvet cover, which is appreciated, and it did feel clean. Staff at the front desk didn't know the status of the elevators or what events were happening at the hotel. Strange that the hotel charges for parking. When we were there, their very large parking lot had tons of open spaces. I get an urban property charging when space is limited, but this seemed odd. Why not add it into the hotel charge? Again overall we liked the Hilton better than the other hotel nearby that we've stayed at. Our search continues for a Northern NJ hotel near to family with a solid gym. But if we stay in Parsippany again, we'll choose this over the other, more tired options.

Since then, we've worked with Michael on planning our wedding and he was so great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, super energetic and full of positive energy throughout the planning, and very informative. We wanted our dogs in the ceremony a lower guest minimum for fear that less people at the time would attend due to covid and Michael quickly accommodated our requests, no questions asked! Our wedding was 10/14/23 and Farrell was our maitre'd. After getting home, my matron of honor, brother in law and mom had nothing but AMAZING things to say about Farrell. According to my mom, Farrell saw my grandpa had trouble with his boutonniere and she, without us asking, started helping him and all the other groomsmen clip them on. She worked with my husband on getting a little last-minute seating mishap resolved (we had some unplanned guests who had initially rsvp'd no and showed up). She was so good with children as our flower girl and flower boy/ring bearer were 4 and 7 and she interacted with them and helped show them what to do at the ceremony. Our day of coordinator unfortunately had an emergency and was not there part of the wedding but Farrell really took over and checked in on us constantly and took charge of the day. My matron of honor said Farrell was so nice and reliable and amazing at her job. Going back to the wedding, our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, down to the chandeliers in the ballroom. Our wedding was unfortunately outdoors but Birchwood was so accommodating with allowing us to use the Grand Ballroom for the ceremony as the reception was already set up elsewhere. We upgraded the cocktail hour to deluxe and with both my husband and I being from Chinese families with high expectations in regards to seafood, the lobster tails were gone instantly as our guests loved them so much. People raved about how good the cocktail hour was, including the carving station and shrimp scampi station. The ice sculpture was a beautiful and elegant touch. All in all, we and our guests had nothing but an amazing time at Birchwood. We have nothing but positive experiences through our 2 years of wedding planning. Thank you Michael and Farrell and Birchwood Manor for helping us plan our wedding and make our wedding day visions really come to life!

When I returned, I was asked if I wanted a room on the ground floor, to which I replied that it did not matter. There wasn't any further conversation but I was then given keys to a room on the third floor. I did not attempt to use a digital key on this visit. This Hampton Inn appears to be physically connected to another Hilton property. After a quick look online, it appears the "Hilton" portion of the property is a level or two above the Hampton class of properties.
