The room was spacious, clean and the thermostat actually worked. There was a sink in the room with filtered water and several other eco-friendly features. There was one man running the desk The Who night, he seemed so tired and over worked. We needed to use the pull out bed from the couch so we asked for sheets and he told us to come down and get them. When we arrived back to the room with the bedding to make the bed, the sheets had brown stains on them, so gross. When I went to shower, there was gum stuck to the back of the conditioner bottle. Unhygienic, understaffed, and just not a nice stay. I feel very bad for the man at the desk read more

Hotel is new with all the amenities any group needs for a trip Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sean at the front desk who gave me my room keys and directed me to the elevator They have luggage carts which were really helpful since we have small companions The rise breakfast is a grab and go experience including an assortment of cereals, bagels, and yogurt. Not ideal but definitely better than what I've had at some other locations The pool is nice and you reserve a 1 hour slot for your group at which time the pool is your private experience. A hot tub would be nice addition Fire pits are small and on around 8pm nightly. The one closest to building shelters you from wind. Rooms- spacious studio which had a kitchen including stove top, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Laundry is available on site. read more

( seriously, she was very very nice and even so early in the morning too!) super water pressure In the shower ! some things to be desired...weave in the shower and broken elevator, no conditioner, the timer/sensor lights in the bathroom also can't be turned off, so surprise at 2am when you need to go....some unsavories in the wandering around outside and even followed me into the lobby once when I checked in (Never happened before!) Not sure, but this seems to be own/run by an extended family, I also think they all lI've inside the hotel, just guessing, but I stayed here three times and every time they only could put me on the 4th floor, so that's kinda off. You were warned! This place is next to the rail tracks...consider the horns. The walls are thin as we heard a dog down the hall barking and the one next door whimpering. The couch was itchy and dirty. We were told you could enter thru the back, but the gate was broken and we had to walk around the entire building. Did I mention there are only 6 spaces in front? I am a platinum BonVoy member and have stayed in this hotel numerous times this year when visiting family. This last trip was really special because of 3 employees, Mr. Babic,, Mr. Sue, and Mr. Bilal. All of these gentlemen were polite and courteous throughout my stay. I hope that the upper level management see this review and reward these employees for their hard work and diligent efforts. The reason why I have only given 4 stars instead of 5 is because this hotel has electric car chargers but none of them are functional. I was forced to rent an EV and had to go to other charging stations for my vehicle. This was unfortunate. read more

We stayed at the Element Spring Valley a few days ago and had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff that we communicated with on multiple days were wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and energetic. As soon as we walked in, the environment of the hotel blew us away. It was truly beautiful in the check-in area. Our room was lovely too. We had a King-sized bed and couch, but the room also had a stove, utensils, plates, a coffee machine, tea, kitchen cloths, a sponge, and dishwashing soap. There was quite a bit of storage space too through drawers and cabinets and the room even had a dishwasher. We enjoyed our stay. read more

Stayed one night in Dec 2022. Odd smell in hallways and room, probably due to an unfortunate (cheap?) carpet cleaning product. Carpets appeared tired and somewhat old. Furniture in the room was an odd attempt at period furniture, seemingly believing The Jetsons featured really cool furniture. Toilet paper roll consistently pulled off the mounted rack whenever paper pulled. We love Marriott. This affiliate is not up to the Marriott standard. I cannot recommend that a reasonably discriminating traveller stay here. read more

We made this reservation 3 weeks before the check-in date. We called the day before to make sure all was okay. We used the Marriott BonVoy app to check-in early and we get to the hotel and they said they oversold the Executive Suites and there was none available. That we had to wait for 3 hrs for a King suite. I was really upset and the Registration employee basically told me they oversell and I needed to understand. Understand what? We left to spend the night at a nearby hotel and they called saying that if we werE expecting to check in the next day to the Executive Suite, we may have had to wait until 4 pm. I stayed here for 2 and a half months just revently while recooperating feom an auto accisent. The general managwe shiraq is a rude individual. My card was declined and he treates like dirt when its the hotel putting through 1 dollar charges. Six in a row. That obviously creates a fraud and then he proceeds to tell me i dont knkw bamking lol while my banker was on the phone with them telling them what they are doing wrong. The hotel is falling apart and its new wirhin 2 years. The clientelle is horroble. They alloe traveling gypsies who steal and check in and out daily and drink and cause havoc. Then the hallways are scattered.with garbage, dirty diapers food, towels you name it outside doors in the hall. Groas. Also more than a doEn fire alarms. Ooh and they alllowed people to swim in their underwear and even strip stark naked in the pool area where eveeyone walking into the lo by can see. Family run hotel run horribly and is disgrace to marriot name. I also left a negarive review on marriot and thw general manager came at me for that. Hotwl has potwntial if it was run propeely. So the hotel itself is fine! It's fairly new and still pretty clean! However the clientele after 8pm is less than savory! There were people hanging out selling junky jewelry at the front desk and a young man accosted my husband with a half bottle of Hennessy in his hands reaking of pot and drunk off his ass! He was nice but loud and kept trying to hug my husband ! The hotel staff is extremely unprofessional and we didn't get any service the whole week were there! The parking is awful and there are no lights in the back where we had to park! There were kids hanging out at all hours drinking, and yelling! On the plus side the rooms were pretty soundproof and once you were inside you could not hear anything! Would not stay there again unfortunately because of how unprofessional the place was run! This hotel is one of the newer and updated out of the few in the area. Sitting right beside the not so updated quality inn, this hotel had extremely freindly staff. Beautiful lobby and sitting area with a fire pit which I loved , a pool , and breakfast. BUTTT BUT BUT BUT , Idk if I should be offended I payed a decent amount of money for a 2day stay and I got a mediocre room . The concept of the room is nice and it looks modern but like I said mediocre, I'm talking dents in the walls ,scuffs on the molding, the cabinet next to the stove is filthy with what could be oil splatter or remnants of the last persons meal here. Which is disgusting considering covid , and the hazards a not so clean room can present to an individual. The bathroom has body wash/shampoo dispensers that I thought were neat and cool ...... BUT BUT BUT like I said before mediocre , the despenser has a blue substance that neither me or my fiancé could identify along with a few hairs.(not saying it's mold but it wasn't from us soooo)While the shampoo just didn't work ..... On the door frame to the bathroom there are numbers written that didn't get painted over all the way .Lastly and probably the most irritating thing about the room was the ceiling in the bathroom kinda falling apart. The ceiling in the shower has a light in which the paint/Sheetrock was peeling. Leaving the bathroom to smell like fresh paint after a shower. Stayed October 2022--I've waited a couple of days to calm down before writing this review so that I could rationally write about our experience at this BELOW sub-par hotel. To begin, when I booked the hotel, I thought, hey this is great, not too far from West Point, new hotel, great prices! None of the reviews were bad, some were glowing in fact. When we had to drive behind the Target trash dumpsters to get to the "hotel" I knew we had made a mistake. First, you have to drive around to what feels like the back to get to the front of the hotel, there is no signage, hardly any indication at all that you are even in the correct place! The parking options are few unless you want to park by the before-mentioned Target dumpsters, then hey, have at it, there is plenty! Once you determine that yes, this must the entrance and you go on in, it's only to be greeted by dirty carpet, dirty hard floors, and even the sign-in counter was filthy. What the heck? It was so dirty, I even mentioned to the clerk that their counter was filthy. Both elevators and every floor was the same, just plain dirty, with no vacuuming in sight. The trash piled up outside of rooms or the elevators. The only bright spots were the rooms themselves. Other than the broken items in the rooms (faucet loose on the bathroom sink, stopper not working on the bathroom sink, toilet seat wobbly, window shades not working properly, holes in the towels), the rooms were nice and beds/bedding were nice and clean. It truly was like the hotel was built two years ago and never maintained since then, just left to fall apart. What the heck Marriott, do you guys even visit any of these "hotels" that carry your name? Needless to say, we will have to be very, very desperate to book here again.
