I highly suggest not going at opening for the produce area; the associates are typically stocking at this time so there are a lot of empty spots & carts full of produce all around. It's tough to navigate with a cart & other people trying to get by, but it's not a big deal. The deli area tends to be fully stocked with pre-sliced cheese & meat. It's convenient to pick through & find the quantity you want. The average weight is 1 lb. which is perfect for me & my husband. The seafood counter is not always staffed but the associates in the meat dept. can help cover. Lester in the meat dept. is a wonderful employee that will not ignore anyone. An old fashion…read morepharmacy Colonial Pharmacy is one of those old fashion drugstores that use to be in every town before CVS and Walgreen's put most of them out of business. Of course there is a pharmacy and the usual assortment of over the counter medications and remedies. But the rest of the store is an explosion of toys, junk food, clothes, booze, beach thingies and souvenirs. Many things seem to be just randomly put where ever there is room but this method seems to work just fine. Just walk around and you will eventually find what you are looking for. Colonial is definitely a beast from the past that managers to survive in the world of modern, sanitized and organized drugstores, probably because of the beachy and touristy environment of Kennedbunkport. A pleasant and very cool place that will probably have what you are looking for.
