Every other pharmacy in the city presumptively treated me like an addict and wouldn't even tell me if they carried the medicine that had been prescribed to me - they said my doctor had to call before they'd even tell me if they could fill the script! It was alarming! I assume there must be a huge issue with opioid abuse here in this area, but people still need to be treated with respect and dignity. Tacuma helped me out with filling my prescription and was an absolute joy to deal with - kind, funny, affable, and caring.

The young cashier turns on the blinking light and we begin our wait This is my second lane, the others were way too long. Somebody over the airwaves calls for more cashiers, but fails to think about managers who could ok the purchase of alcohol. So we wait and wait. There was one young manager who looked of age, but wasn't. So me and the cashier wait more. .She apologizes. Finally, the lone guy that could check me out casually goes to 2 other blinking lights before coming our way. He obviously saw our need, but Instead of quickly coming over, he casually went to a station near the carts. He took his sweet time leisurely messing around it before slowly walking to our lane. He then said he was sorry for the wait. This is possibly the fifteen time I've waited too long to check out here. I'll pass on this place and go somewhere with better management. Thank goodness Aldi is here.

Depending on our route it can be very convenient when heading home. In general it's a smaller-sized Hannaford location. So some things you like at other Hannaford they might not carry. The set up inside is not bad and never had complaints with the quality of products compare to other locations. My wife and I typically do self-checkout with me scanning and her bagging leading to an efficient and quick method. This location being smaller they do only have 4 self-checkout spots that does lead to longer waits at times. Overall though minimal complaint. Not my first choice for groceries but not a terrible choice.

I appreciate they offer this service because there are very few places around that offer helium. Yesterday I had two large number (1 & 7) balloons blown up for my daughters 17 birthday, and I was a little nervous because If there the numbers popped, I had no backup plan for getting new ones now that the party store in Portland has closed. The beautiful balloons were purchased at a cute shop in Damariscotta. The manager at the Hannaford was so nice, careful, and helpful. Great experience

This review is for Costco Optical…read more My optician quoted me almost $600 just for lenses for bifocals and that is including my insurance benefits. I love costco, ive had a membership in 4 different states and i think it is completely worth it and…read morei save a lot of money with it. That being said theres a few things that are uniquely and insanely annoying about every location. #1 there isnt a good boxing station. I do like that they use boxes, it makes a lot of sense, however theres not a good place to accomplish the task of putting everything into a box. So youre using like the picnic eating tables or an empty register to do it and youre always in the way. #2 the location of the bathroom is so insanely frustrating. It is ALWAYS beyond the checkout and with no clear path to/from it. So if you have to use the restroom before checkout it is such a process and so inefficient because youre having to go through the open checkout aisles. #3 no aisle labels + the location of where things are and what they carry is constantly changing. They have an amazing selection but it is not consistent at all. #4 the location of the carts is on the other side of where you come in, so the traffic leaving the out doors is always clashing with the traffic arriving to the in doors. They should put the bulk of carts on the side of the in door. Otherwise i love Costco, but these are systematic things that just make no sense that to me would be pretty simple to fix when they open new stores but the issues are always the same.
