I have also given a one-star review on Google but if I could give less than one star I would. The store is fine but there is one young employee who dresses like a slob, I have heard him openly using profanity behind the counter, wears a dirty knit cap and headphones and wouldn't no good customer service if it bit him in the ass. Today I went in briefly and as he's standing there yet again with his thumb in his ass he loudly belches and then proceeds to laugh about it. This employee is a disgrace to the Walgreens corporation and I have no idea why he is allowed to continue to "work" there considering there is no actual work being done. I have heard this kid openly discussing drugs and using incredibly offensive profane language in front of customers. They must be really really hard up to find employees because the managers in this location should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for allowing this punk to be behind the counter looking like he looks, acting like he acts, speaking like he speaks, dressing like he dresses, and sharing disgusting bodily functions. Absolutely pathetic. Shame on you Walgreens shame on you Walgreens shame on you Walgreens. I wish I could give zero stars this is unbelievable.

**November 2025: Friday Night Visit**…read more I needed to pick up some quart size sandwich bags, and this super market had that and so much more. I'm amazed by how huge this store was and the variety of everything you could ever need and more. I also liked that there are different sections that have Maine Made items and that there are little signs that say "local" if you wanted to pick up some regional items. I really wanted to pick up some fresh Maine milk, and Maple BBQ sauce, but unfortunately since I was at the tail end of my roadtrip I couldn't take much expect for a small bag of salt and vinegar potato chips and my sandwich bags; however, if I come back to Portland, I'll know where I can buy some regional goodies!

There are plenty of pre-made options if you're looking for food on the go (although the chicken wings at $9.99 a pound are a total rip off), a dedicated local product section (please expand!), and some interesting international offerings (chive dumplings!). My only complaint is that it is weirdly organized - like the pasta sauce and pasta section at the end of the wine aisle (wine and pasta do go together, but in a grocery store?). I would love to see this location expand the local and international offerings, and maybe have some kind of newsletter? It feels like a community hub, and I know they do a lot to help the immigrant community but it wasn't very apparent to me as a customer.

PLEASE NOTE: This review is specifically for the pharmacy…read more I continue to appreciate this pharmacy and currently I *super* appreciate the drive-through window. Also, I like: 1. Their automated system. I know this is a little thing, but it's so nice to know that I never need to check-in on those recurring prescriptions to make sure they've actually gone through. I get texts letting me know when things are ready, and phone calls from real people if I don't come in within a few days past when they can see my prescription has run out. If they do have to restock my prescription because I totally flaked and didn't come in, it takes just minutes for them to put the order back together. 2. The people who work. Time and time again I've seen them demonstrate patience, responsibility and respectfulness, and going the little extra mile with their regulars (to really get to know them and work with them). I've never been upsold, I've never been talked down to, and my privacy has always been taken very seriously. Whenever a concern comes up, I know I can talk to the pharmacist and get a real answer from a real person. I said it before, and I'll say it again: I know that pharmacies aren't necessarily the sexiest or coolest things in the world to a) talk about or b) go to, but everybody needs them. And THIS is the place in town that's going to keep you sane and healthy so you can go do all those sexy, cool things you want to do! (SIDE NOTE: In the warmer weather there's a terrible infestation of wasps under the eaves at the entrance. Do not park on this side of the lot!)

After doing some basic research, I learned that Hannaford Supermarkets might be my best bet to find Moxie. And so the first one I visited - had it in stock. If I'm doing in-person grocery shopping, this is my preferred Hannaford. Yes, the parking lot is as…read morechaotic as ever, but I've actually noticed really good precautionary steps during this time. I've seen people at the entrance basically being bouncers (making sure the store is keeping up with how many people can be inside at once, directing folks to which carts are sanitized, asking people to put masks on). I've also seen more signs throughout the store reminding people to have masks -- I will say that until recently, maybe 50% were actually wearing them but that seems to have changed since the governor's order. Admittedly, it doesn't seem like anyone is really paying attention to the direction signs on the floor about flow of traffic within the aisles, but are still being pretty respectful of each other's space anyway. The staff seems as friendly as ever, there's *a lot* more out of stock than ever before, but getting in and getting out does seem quicker than ever since no one is socializing or taking their time perusing items. I know I try I only buy what I touch!
