Hopefully customer service is getting better. I believe the management at the front of the store knows how bad that staff is and they said they were working on it. This store is a Rite Aide conversation to Walgreens. I love Walgreens and have for years. This pharmacy dept really discuss me to no end. My wife wants me to go to Hannafords across the street. We just moved up here and will make a decision soon. The next Walgreens is in Cornish Maine. 20 mins away. This pharmacy is unhelpful rude and inconsiderate. I don't know what the problem is for the young woman at the pharmacy desk but she has no business being the person supposedly "helping" customers. My wife spent all day in the ER in intense pain diagnosed as a compression fracture in her back. This was the nearest pharmacy for the pain meds prescribed. The woman at the pharmacy said, "Two hour wait". In extreme pain? "Others are waiting too." No consideration, or even empathy. Ask again she became ruder. Will never go to this place again or any other Walgreens if they can't train and manage their staff. Went across the street to Hannaford's and the response was, "Oh let's see how we can help you,". I've read these reviews before because they've irritated me too with their mind-numbingly horrible customer service; but, today was the LAST straw. I called for my usual monthly prescription and, of COURSE, i hear the "Hmmm..I'm not showing...". Now I have to call myself since my doctors request is not urgent enough. But that's why I've stayed because they usually fill it that day or the next. Not this time. I was on hold for 30 minutes, put that on hold and called the main store, who then asked them to pick up the phone which they did. Strike 2. The staff told me they were out of the prescription and they'll have it Friday. I gave them a courtesy day and called Saturday night and the magical machine lady told me there was ONE PRESCRIPTION waiting for me. Yes, it's 6 days passed the original fill date; but, i'm pretty tolerant. I had to wait til Monday since the pharmacy is not open Sundays. Monday-After a wait in line, i tell them i'm here for pickup. she states we don't have this prescription. of course, it's my day off, i'm in my pj's and am as sharp as a ball, so i'm like "what?" then I tell her my story and now i'm getting hot because i'm really in shock and, now angry!! I told her i called and the recording said it was ready! She said, and i sh*t you not, in drippy sarcasm "you mean the MACHINE that doesn't know if we have it in stock or not?" as if I'M responsible for your lame procedure to get meds!!!! (Long brown hair, ponytail, small, young, average looking.) AND they actually HAD my prescription Friday but because i didn't pick it up the day they filled it, they gave it to someone else! I stormed out, oddly excited to get home so I can give them YET ANOTHER 1 STAR REVIEW but decided to go back and at least let the manager know. He wasn't much help but he was sweet and explained it's Walgreen's policy not to hold medication. Although, really, Walgreens? You have a 5 hour come-get-your-meds-or-we'll-give-them-away policy? So, Walgreen's may have a shitty policy but the employees take it out on the customers. For whatever reason, if your job treats you poorly or does not support you or if it's because they're overworked, understaffed and underpaid then i don't feel sorry for them. Since RiteAid was taken over by Walgreens this pharmacy is awful. The girl at the pharmacy counter is rude. Arrived a hour after the prescription was sent in and still had to wait for it to be filled. A prior visit the pharmacist was complaining to his coworkers that the company had him going to other pharmacies to work. This review is for the pharmacy only as the employees at the front counter are always pleasant. Moving forward i will have prescriptions sent to Walmart in North Conway. read more

My experience wasn't even worthy of one star or my time to write this, but I have 15 min to spare after my shot. I've never been to this location but needed to get my booster. Everyone was rude and not a single person could say hello how are you today what can I do for you?? I felt like I was being rounded up like cattle. There was no human interaction from anyone at the pharmacy nor anyone stocking shelves. I scheduled an appointment online and happened to get the last one for the day. I showed up on time and was told that there was no way that I had an appointment because they had been booked up for two months. I then waited an hour for another rude tech with no compassion to jab me. The only good thing was a young girl at the front that greeted EVERYONE and asked if help was needed...she needs to work in a company that cares more! 5 stars for her! read more

I am 65 and have many medical issues, and have lived in Ossipee for 6 years . This is the worst pharmacy I have EVER used. They are rude, which I could care less as long as they do their job, but they cant even do that. Every month there is at least 1 of my prescriptions that they tell me does not have a refill that I should call my doctor, and after my doctors nurse complained to me that they kept asking for RX'S already there, I would keep my bottles and have to insist that they have refills. Now they are saying it takes days to fill. I call on monday and they say when you want, I say in a hour and they say tomorrow!!!!!!!! Rediculous!! And the last straw was when my veterinary doctor in Wolfeboro th old me that I should call them as soon as they call it in, otherwise I'd have to wait a day or so!!!! So even veterinary doctor s, that do not use pharmacy's that often know how bad they are!!!! Now today they told me that I did not have a refill because the prescription was canceled. My doctor just called in 6 refills, 15 days ago!!!!! Done, I'm moving all prescription medications to other pharmacy. P read more

I'm up on vacation for the summer. I had transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens to make it easy to refill. Well the Walgreens back home was a disaster. This Walgreens have been absolutely great. Customer service is not everybody's thing and some people probably shouldn't be in customer service if they are hardly ever pleasant. I went in tonight and when I was checking out I was trying to make small talk so it wasn't awkward and everything I said the cashier Felt the need to correct me and tell me I was wrong. When some thing wouldn't scan in she asked me if I had seen the price and I said something along the lines of I remember it being 7.94 and she looks at me and goes I'll give it to you for 8.00 and made it sound like I was lucky I was getting it for that price. Her name was Angela and I hope I never have to see her in there again she is very unpleasant and should either be spoken to by management or be asked to leave the facility this isn't the first encounter I've had with her. I'd rather see a place short staffed with decent people than fully staffed with people who don't give a shit about others. read more

Been using this location (Formerly a Rite Aid) since 2016 and never had an issue with prescriptions. We gave them a year's benefit of doubt while they transitioned into a Walgreens and pretty much everything has gone down hill, but the pharmacy is a dealbreaker. I can never get anyone at pharmacy on the phone in less than 30 minutes, I receive automated phone calls telling me prescriptions are filled only to have to wait 30-45 minutes on arrival for them to actually be filled. Not only those issues, but several of our meds in the last couple years apparently are no longer stocked at this location so there is even more wait time to have them delivered from other stores. Follow the rest of the locals across the street to Hannaford's pharmacy. The only thing you lose is the convenience of a drive through but I tell you it's a small trade for far better customer service and pricing! Recently I needed a Typhoid immunization to travel for work and Walgreens told me it was a 5-6 day wait on shipping... Low and behold Hannaford has a refrigerator full of anything you need lol. Lastly, I found a good deal on some items on Walgreens.com and my curbside pickup order has been pending for DAYS... But can't get a status update because no one picks up the phone and the people working in the store have no clue. Uuuuugh, never again! read more

If you are looking to get your COVID vaccine, I highly recommend NOT doing it at the Walgreens in Ossipee New Hampshire! The woman that took our paperwork was extremely rude. I got denied a vaccine. I am 17 years old (a minor) and I am blind. Therefore I do not have any form of photo identification (such as a drivers license) other than my student ID. I am currently in the process of getting a non-drivers license, however I have not gotten it yet. The woman told us to contact the state if we needed to, because other forms of identification we're not listed as protocol. We said OK we will call the state, and she said that she would have to cancel our appointment if we did so, as it would hold things up too long. Meanwhile they were extremely backed up, and no one had even got their vaccines yet. Now I understand that things are crazy right now because of Covid, and I am totally willing to wait. However she could have given us a few minutes to step to the side and call the state to clarify while she booked the next person for their appointment. Especially considering a man before me forgot his wallet and he was allowed to wait there while his wife went back to the house to get it for him before filling out his paperwork. Many people under 18 do not have identification sanctioned by the state, and for those with disabilities that cause them to be unable to drive, and do not yet have a non-drivers license, other Accommodations need to be provided. And even though this woman stated that she could not except anything that did not have photo identification on it, when we called the state they told us that I could provide a birth certificate and that would be sufficient. I would also like to mention that my mother was there with me, and she had my insurance card identifying who I am on it. Not impressed. Now I have to wait a few more weeks to get my vaccine. And as someone with asthma, I am at a higher risk. read more
