It's 100% better esthetically after the rehab. They kept the Senior Discount on Tuesday which is a simple and better incentive then many. Most of the staff are pleasant most of the time. There are always tradeoffs between large and small locations. Bigger offers more inventory, more choices. Bigger is 900 miles a year more of travel and expense. Of course we can plan it with other travel but we missed the store when it was rehabbed after the fire. It's a Wolfeboro asset, they compete and I'm glad it's here.

Yesterday, I went to Market Basket in Tilton, NH to pick up some groceries. I got to the check out,…read moreput my groceries on the belt for the cashier and realized that I forgot my wallet at home. I Bank at Camden Bank so I asked if they could hold the groceries while I went to the bank to get some cash. Luckly, I go to that branch often and they know me so I didn't need my ID to take some cash out. I went back to the store to pay for the groceries and when they run them up, I was $7.00 short. The young gentleman at the register took out his wallet and pulled out the $7.00 to pay the balance. I told I could just put a couple things back but he insisted so I let him. When I go back tomorrow, I am dropping off an envelope for him with a thank you note and the money to pay him back. This was completely unexpected so I felt I wanted to acknowledge his thoughtfulness. Thank you.

An automatic answer is that phone orders take 45 minutes. In person orders average 30 - 40 minutes. On top of it they are miserable. More than once I have seen customers complain. Nothing changes.

It's been a 5-star experience each time I use the service. I do wish the parking spots were on the other side of where they are now; it can be challenging to pull into a spot when it gets busy there. You have to be very careful when leaving & BOLO for people / other cars coming & going. I highly suggest not going at opening for the produce area; the associates are typically stocking at this time so there are a lot of empty spots & carts full of produce all around. It's tough to navigate with a cart & other people trying to get by, but it's not a big deal. The deli area tends to be fully stocked with pre-sliced cheese & meat. It's convenient to pick through & find the quantity you want. The average weight is 1 lb. which is perfect for me & my husband. The seafood counter is not always staffed but the associates in the meat dept. can help cover. Lester in the meat dept. is a wonderful employee that will not ignore anyone. He's prompt to ask if he can help you find anything. He will come out from behind the counter to assist you.
