She was busy as per usual and I let her know there was no rush.... All of my slacks were sadly improperly hemmed. All were very much shorter and the stitching on the hem was too tight and it sadly puckered. I debated bringing them back as 7 years years ago, I did bring a very expensive pair back to be redone... Carolyn had not done the hemming but could see the the stitching was also tight and the legs were uneven. She was rather dismissive and not that respectful toward me... So I sadly realized this was not a route that I could go, especially with all of my slacks done wrong. I also had several individuals who experienced the same as of recent. People are not perfect yet there should be an option when things don't go according to plan. This was a very expensive loss for me.

The quality of her work was great, especially considering the fact that it all had to be done on short notice. The bridal gown was beaded and the work was quite intricate and time consuming. The only problem was that I had to drive to Concord or further to find spray tanning, so again I stopped. Recently, I decided to check to see if there were local businesses that offer spray tanning, and I was happy to discover a couple right in Plymouth. I decided to go with Stella for two reasons. #1 - Their website showed that they have a professionally trained person, Kristen Gilmore, dedicated to their spray tanning service. And #2 - when I called and spoke with Kristen, she was able to easily answer all of my questions and was familiar with how to work with my freckles and skin tone. I am so happy that I went with Stella Hair Boutique. Kristen was super friendly, but also very professional. When I had to strip down for her to apply the tanning solution, her manner and positivity removed any awkwardness or embarrassment on my part. This was by far the best part of planning our wedding so far…read more Laura planned a wonderful day that resulted in two beautiful wedding bands that we could be proud of. We started with practice bands, shaping the metal and filing the shape. She served us lunch and local beer and then we made our white gold wedding bands from raw stock. The gold was sourced from a green supplier in Louisiana. We shaped and filed the rings, sanded and polished them. The work was challenging but Laura supported us and stepped in with any rough patches we needed, always asking if it was OK. We are so happy with our rings and having this experience makes it all the more meaningful.
