I am in that area twice a month.i shop alot in the area shops. I have shopped in this shop before, but last week midweek i was there.i walk in the ladies didnt greet which I didn't care until i noticed they greeted everyone else who walked in weird..then i was trying on glasses not offered help but felt stalked as if i was going to steal, then i walk around and what do you know im followed she was quite obvious. . I dress nicely im polite and i can afford to shop there. I felt so under a microscope i left & won't return. I didn't understand, and i felt they were very rude to me. Unwarranted. Spruce Hurricane truly ROCKS!!! They offer stylish fashion not typically found in the area. Boots!!-can I just say they have the most beautiful boot selection this side of Texas. I have 2 pair of Gringo brand boots from Spruce Hurricane. Soooooo friggin stylish and even more comfortable. Amber Dalton, the shop owner, is beautiful, smart and sassy, and she knows her sh** when it comes to fashion! She can fit you head-to-toe and make you look like a Rock Star (or Country Starlet) in no time. And, if she is not in the building, one of her amazing staff members is there to assist. This place is so cute. Lots of super pricey stuff in there- but a good mix of affordable. I'm telling you- this is the type of place where you come in and think there is nothing there you would wear- and two hours and six hundred dollars later you're leaving with a bag of stuff (boots, accessories (scarves, hats, glasses), sweaters/jackets). I don't know how it happens- but it's impressive. Staff there is is defiantly involved- so depends if you're good with that or not- I personally find it helpful. I'm a lover of fur - and unique things- so probably where I get sucked in. If you need to buy for someone that has everything and expensive taste- It's perfect. I go shopping here every year with my MIL- and we both find things- so perfect for everyone from early thirties to mid sixties. My grandmother in law in her 90s also loves it! Would hate to see this spot close- so go shop local! read more
