While we didn't find the shoe size my wife was looking for, we did find a brand and style she really liked. Additionally, I found a good pair of Nike's on sale for myself, and some shoe spray we needed. It's a great store, and I recommend stopping by, especially for mens boots. Be aware there were only 5 or so size 12's for women, but they still had a nice selection of shoes otherwise.

I actually waited to check out (even though my husband was rushing me) because I was intimidated to dare interrupt their in depth personal conversation and make them work to ring me up. When she did, she didn't do the math correct on my punch card, I lost some credit. She also couldn't be bothered to let me know that I would have got a MUCH better deal by buying one more pair that applied to promotion. My advice: be prepared to help yourself, figure out the promotion and which items apply yourself, add time to wait for any assistance, made to feel like you're not good enough to be in that store.

I have been purchasing various leather goods for over 30 years. The staff is kind and helpful. I…read morewent in to find a purse in June and that's when I realized they make dog collars. I didn't have my dog with me and they said "come in anytime, bring your dog, we would love to fit him for a collar." I measured my dogs neck, brought in a current collar and was so excited to have a collar made in September. The lady was so rude, extremely unhelpful and said, "we don't make collars for 70LB dogs." Go to their photos and you will see a HUGE dog wearing THEIR collar. I told her that I was previously told to come in! She dismissed me. She walked away. Another employee saw that I was upset and confused. She said, "you could cut a belt down to the proper size." I chose a belt and the employee that dismissed me was clearly upset that she had to do this for me. She didn't offer to emboss his name (as they do on bracelets and other products) and was again irritated with her employee when she asked her to. I left with a lovely collar but very shaky over the negative vibe. I emailed Beggars Pouch a couple of days later as I just couldn't believe the way I was treated. It won't come as a surprise that I never heard back. To make matters worse - It was the female OWNER that dismissed me. Kudos to the other gal working there that was happy to help me and went above and beyond. My elderly mom was with me both times and stated to me that she wished she didn't purchase her $285.00 purse as Beggars Pouch doesn't deserve her time or money. It's a shame.

It's located in a convenient location with many amenities nearby. We were walking around town and saw this spot. I also read some good reviews about it. It's a large gift shop with many items. A perfect place to buy items for yourselves and as gifts. We bought some candies; I love the penny old school style candies. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop even though it is a tourist trap.
