She was busy as per usual and I let her know there was no rush.... All of my slacks were sadly improperly hemmed. All were very much shorter and the stitching on the hem was too tight and it sadly puckered. I debated bringing them back as 7 years years ago, I did bring a very expensive pair back to be redone... Carolyn had not done the hemming but could see the the stitching was also tight and the legs were uneven. She was rather dismissive and not that respectful toward me... So I sadly realized this was not a route that I could go, especially with all of my slacks done wrong. I also had several individuals who experienced the same as of recent. People are not perfect yet there should be an option when things don't go according to plan. This was a very expensive loss for me.

The quality of her work was great, especially considering the fact that it all had to be done on short notice. The bridal gown was beaded and the work was quite intricate and time consuming. Great helpful staff. Especially me since I've not been in a laundromat in many years. It was a card operated machine and since I was a transient staff used theirs and I paid when I was finished. Charged me $660 plus I tipped another $100. Skip ahead to yesterday. Called Country Picker to get help moving one king size mattress from one spot to another. My son's mattress. I have no one to help me so I reached out to them, hoping because I was a return customer, they could help me out, and a local. They quoted me $415 to move one mattress 11 miles. Makes absolutely zero sense. Charged me $660 to move four rooms and then wanted to charge me $415 to move one mattress. I will Never Ever use these people again! Thanks for nothing.

Well, every employee is overstressed, embarrassed to the point that they regularly talk about about their pay, their politics, all while arguing about weather their dogs should be able to be inside the business during open hours. The parking lot speaks volumes, even before you enter the space. Dirty, weeds everywhere. Today I had two loads of laundry, watched customers with dirt covered bins use the carts from inside to get them inside, only to take my laundry out of the washers to find that there was not a single working dryer to use as they had all been labeled employee dryers (obviously they care about only the fluff and fold service) and all others were broken. It may be the only place to do laundry in Bridgton, but I'd recommend you wash your clothes in the sink rather than go anywhere near this hell hole. Every experience here has been negative. I just got the piece back and it is absolutely beautiful. The piece is a large, round seat with a central "fountain", much like something you might see in old hotels or train stations a century ago. Although it had gotten to the point where there was no safe place to sit on it without sinking through, my brothers and I hesitated to send it out because we weren't sure we could find someone up to the challenge. But we found the person and MORE! Betsy kindly sent out several different fabric choices, many of them excellent. We eventually went with something I found only because we had a very specific thing in mind. I also felt that, considering how difficult the piece was, the price was more than fair. I know where I'm going if I ever need anything else done. Apparently Betsy does all sorts of things fabric related.
