Hanks is the place! I've been here several times. And I will be honest ... I only come here when I take my car to be serviced because... it's inside of the Ford dealership and I don't work nearby. I was stuck at the Ford South Bay waiting on my car. Currently on a extremely limited diet. I explained to Hank what I was allowed to eat and he hooked me up with a chicken breast no oil and plain salad. It was delicious!!!! Will definitely order here again!!! My Family and I would like to recognize one of the associates (servers) at Hanks Bistro located at 5100 W. Rosecrans in the huge South Bay Ford/Lincoln Dealership. Her name (I think) is Carla who served us while our daughter and son-in-law along with their two daughters were purchasing a new 2022 F-150 truck. Carla was most pleasant and very professional when 5 of us ordered a few items off the excellent menu! Carla had a "can-do" attitude when assisting us with a smile. Came to purchase parts and while waiting I could smell the coffee in the air. I went to purchase a cup but the ATM was out of service. I had no cash and they were kind enough to let me have it for free!!! On top of that they were very pleasant and kind to everyone not just me. The food smells great. Whenever I come to get my oil changed, I look forward to getting a bite to tide me over. Ten years and easily the least painful part of my visit. Getting service done on my car at So. Bay Ford when I noticed Hank's Cafe. I was pretty amazed at the selection of items. The customer service was awesome but how was the food gonna be??? Well, I ordered a turkey sandwich and fries. It was awesome!! The French fries were crispy and hot and the sandwich was simply perfect!! All for $5!! Interesting fact: I was speaking with the owner and as it turns out, Hanks is the same family of Hanks Italian restaurants in the South Bay. Although, there are no Italian offerings, you will still find the same quality as good ole Hank's but in a cafe setting. Enjoy!! read more

I had an issue with my ford car. It was going to be while and noticed this cafe inside. The service was really good. I didn't think the food would be good but was hungry! Hank's is a hidden little gem! I've been here several times and have been happy each time. There's nothing worse than sitting at an auto dealership all day waiting for your car- enter Hank's! What a brilliant idea to have a cafe at the dealership. What's more, the food is actually quite good. I've stuck mostly to sandwiches (BLT is my fave and the patty melt is great!), and my husband has enjoyed several burritos. The fries are yummy, made from fresh potatoes, and seasoned just right. Food comes out hot and quick. The manager is friendly, polite, and seems to enjoy his cafe. He keeps the area clean and often can be seen tidying up. I really appreciate his attention to detail. I absolutely love the food here. But what really keeps me coming back is the spicy shrimp and the dessert called fabloudeh. I first tried Hank's bistro when they used to be listed on grubhub and fell in love with it ever since. Now, I order through eat 24, being that they aren't listed on grubhub anymore. John, the owner, is extremely pleasant and funny. His level of attention to customer service is something my service advisor should aspire to achieve.
