I stopped in for lunch yesterday, for a first visit here. This building has been here for a long time as a classic burger joint; under different names over the years. The inside is decorated in a 50s car theme. I was greeted by friendly staff as soon as I walked in. I ordered the Bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a soft drink. The burger was delicious, a nice size meat patty that was cooked through but still juicy, crisp leaf lettuce, ripe tomato, pickles, nice big rings of onions, and melting cheddar cheese, mayo, and crisp hot bacon, the bun was lightly toasted, soft, and fresh; this was a juicy and flavorful sandwich. The onion rings were thick cut, with a nice crunchy batter on the outside; very good. If you are a bacon cheeseburger fan you should get in here and give this place a try. read more

We were a party of 4 that went in for breakfast. I had read the reviews so our poor experience was surprising. Our waitress was excessively talkative so it took forever to take our order. The breakfast options were disappointing to us; there are no eggs Benedict, no omelets & no waffles. Our coffee had an off taste. All 4 of our meals were served either incomplete or just wrong. It took multiple requests to get the missing food or correct food & all 4 of us believe this was due to the waitress constantly talking & interrupting us. The food tasted OK. We weren't expecting the European Breakfast place, the cottage cafe or anything fancy but we were very underwhelmed by the food. The location is incredibly small & for us it felt rundown & a little dirty. We may have gone on an off morning, I don't know. I'm not sure if we will go back. read more

Seeing the reviews I had high expectations, upon entering I was greeted with a greasy feeling from the decor to the seating accommodations the wait staff was friendly but didn't stock the tables properly forced to stir my coffee with a straw and wait on more sugar I lost my appetite the pancakes had pockets of salt and the water had some kind of after taste the idea of eating in your grandfathers shop or garage is a nice thought but not my idea of a good breakfast. read more

Me and my Fiancé just left there and we both have never tried the food. We show up and there are about 6 tables with people which is great means it's good we walk In and the lady looks at us very confused and with a blank face is silent for about 30 seconds then my fiancé asks her if we can see menus. She then grabs menus and goes it's gonna be a 50 minute wait in a very unpleasant way. My Fiancé says that's ok we are gonna get it go to anyway so we'll wait in our car and she goes it's still gonna be a 50 minute wait with a disgusted face. We set the menus down and walked out. Great little hidden gem off of Trent in Spokane. The burgers are cooked to order and the meat is fresh with great flavor. Only a few seats inside but the great food makes up for the lack of space. Definitely recommend you try this place out if you just want a great burger. If you're looking for a fancy over priced pretentious atmosphere don't go and end up giving them a bad review. Absolutely a hidden gem, tucked away down on Trent, if I wasn't looking for it, would have missed it. Between us we got the "Hangry burger" - which was phenomenal, this rivals any gourmet high end burger and then some - total gluttonous perfection. Had a great lunch here. I got the Misfire burger and my wife had the Mushroom Swiss burger. The pattys were perfectly cooked all the garnish on the burgers was very fresh and it was super tasty. The coke was so cold steam rolled out of the glass as I drank it. The fries seemed to be fresh cut also. Will see them again soon. We went for all day breakfast at noon, ordered coffees, drank them, and were told we could not have breakfast after we drank the coffee. How rude. Then on top of it all we told them we were leaving because no breakfast, and they charged us full price for drinking one cup of coffee when if we stayed we would have drank at least 4 or 5 cups to get our moneys worth. Holy moly. Hangry's was phenomenal. Stopped in to pick up take out a couple months ago (yeah I'm late with reviews) and couldn't be more tickled with the service we received. Owners are hilarious and so sweet. Picked up 3 burgers for take out and man oh man were they delicious! Onion rings were like crispy dream bites. If you are in the area, you need to stop by. The sausage in the gravy had that not fresh but sweet tangy almost turned flavor. I picked it out of my gravy. The scrambled egg mixture was standard. The biscuits hard. Sigh....I'm not sure if I will EVER spend another dime here. My daughter ordered the lackluster French toast...got nothing nice to say. I love spicy food and the misfire burger is incredible. The sauce they put on the burger is so delicious! Im not much of a fries kind of girl but with a side of some of their sauces I eat them all because I'm obsessed with all their dipping sauces. The Fry sauce is a must. I can't eat dairy. The severs are always so accommodating to my allergy. My man is a cheese connoisseur usually orders the cheese ball burger. This comes with cheese curds, mozzarella cheese and pesto ranch! We have tried so many things on the menu. Also if you are a pastrami fan this is your place to go. They have a burger called the high demand it's a beef patty and pastrami.
