We were driving down to Naples and had plan for breakfast, but it was closed so we had to look for alternative quick! Haneys showed up on the map and pictures looked good so we decided to swing by. What a great find! It is the perfect breakfast/brunch place! There was a line about 10-15 minute wait, not too bad. It seemed like a popular place with people coming and going! The host was super friendly and kept apologized for the wait which was not a problem for us. Big menu and lots of choices. I opted for the "make your own" omelette with bacon mushroom spinach American cheese, and home fries. That is how I judge all new breakfast places. And this one passed my test! I have eaten at Haney's Cafe 6-7 times over the past two years. Today, I ordered biscuits and gravey that cane with 2 eggs. The eggs provided more volume than the sparce gravey. All in all, there was not sufficient moisture to moisturize the two dry biscuits.-* read more

Best breakfast in Fort Myers! Coffee, even decaf, is delicious. Home fries are pan fried with way bits of onions, corned beef is homemade. Omelettes are generous sized and fluffy. Good was good and prepared well. The restaurant has inside/outside seating. it was a nice looking restaurant, but unfortunately we seem to have a series of small problems. The first being they delivered the wrong plate for breakfast for my husband. He is not a big fan of returning food so he kept it, but we did let the waitress now. he ordered over medium eggs and scrambled eggs. He ordered wheat toast and got white rye toast. i'm thinking there's a possibility the waitress was new. She did admit that she delivered the wrong plate to us and the other people. She seemed flustered, and we had to ask for certain things. Also, when she took our credit card to pay the bill, she paid somebody else's meal and not our meal with our credit card. So we had to get a credit for that. The food was good, but to be honest with our experience and the drive to get there we will probably pass. read more

Nice basic interior. You can sit at a table, booth or at the counter. They also have an outdoor dining area, but make sure you check in before sitting out there. The staff were attentive and our food came out quickly. The food was well cooked and delicious. Our only complaints were that they used Smuckers honey, local honey would have been more flavorful, and I didn't care for the salt grinders that they use. Both very minor complaints. 5 stars for the local restaurant, be sure to stop by and try them. read more

This location is very close to where we live and decided to come check it out after soccer game! I'm so happy we did. The staff was superb, the food was delicious and wait time was perfect! My son had the hamburger with fries and it must have been good because it seemed like I blinked, food was gone! I had the awesome French toast with bacon! I like my bacon crispy and Haneys didn't disappoint. French toast was very good as well, great flavor! I love this spot! If you're looking for casual, affordable brunch this is the place for you. They were very busy because it's a place locals love. I ordered the veggie omelette with a side of toast and their delicious strawberry orange marmalade (the true star of this place!). It was really good and simple. Found by chance when Ryan's was closed for the weekend. A small mom/pop style place in a relatively empty plaza. We stopped in at 11:30A, a few tables, but not busy at all. Atmosphere: Comfy feeling, like a diner but homey. All American type decor, tables and booths were standard, nothing extra. A few servers greeted us immediately when walking in. Food: Coffee and drinks served right away. We ordered a mimosa, it was pretty weak and also made with very pulpy oj. Each of the meals we ordered came exactly as requested. Eggs were fluffy and soft, potatoes tasted like they were made with clean oil, not greasy. Nice and crispy bacon too! We tried the crepe, oh my, it was not only really yummy but so pretty too! Two words: apple pancakes! We needed a good, old fashioned "recover from Saturday night" breakfast and a quick Yelp search turned up this delightful spot. The most in need of our group went with biscuits and gravy with a little hair of the dog. They have several juice choices for mimosas, but orange seemed to be the most effective of the lot. The rest of us had traditional American breakfast fare, including the house specialty, apple pancakes. These tasty cakes are filled with fresh apple chunks and topped with a sweet frosting AND dollops of whipped cream. Perhaps a little too sweet. If I were to order them again, I'd cut one of the two if not both. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches for those in our party who weren't able to rally. They opened the outside dining. We sat outside away from everyone. We ordered the awesome hotcakes as a treat for my 3 year old. It was very decadent with pudding, strawberries, and whipped cream. The food was good, But cost was a bit much for what you got in a serving. Coffee had no taste to it.

My daughter and I went to Haney's this morning and after we were finally seated and placed our order, we waited for another 40 mins waiting for our food. This is while other people who sat after us had already been served their food. The waitress kept saying its not done yet, how long does it take to cook eggs? Also, a couple came in with their dog (which was not identified as a service dog) and even if it was they should have been seated outside and not in the restaurant. I complained to the manager which I don't know why because she treated us like we did something wrong. Needless to say we ended up leaving and we will never go back. I am also calling the health department in regards to the dog issue. No animal belongs in a restaurant. read more

Today the food was just average. I have had really good food in the past. The pancakes were very dense. Butter and my over easy eggs didn't make them any better. My husband like well done bacon, I do not. Because he order well done and we were having the same meal. I told the waitress please don't make mine well done. My bacon came out burnt. The sausage seemed off to day as well. They seated us an another couple in their over flow section. That was fine but the reason they did this was for a new waitress to get some experience. This was her second day. She needed to be more familiar with what they offer. She needed supervision. Came here out of the spur moment and it was open during Memorial Weekend early on a Sunday morning. The waitress was nice and service was fast. Down fall was me trying to check in and WiFi password did not work because after she checked when I thought I was misspelling what she said she realized it was turned off. The food was decent and the potatoes tasted like paper (if that's even a thing). I was looking forward to coffee and when I got my coffee the glass was dirty on the edges after I quickly pointed it out. Got another one and it was a lot cleaner. Dissapointing overall. Sunday at noon, party of 2. Pretty crowded but got seated fairly quickly. Waited on fairly quickly. Server: forgot several items, no coffee check back. Blueberry pancakes: fantastic and loaded. Corned beef hash: menu says not from a can. I call foul! Sparse meat loaded with piles of tiny cubed potatoes says canned to me. Small portion. Eggs done perfectly. Wheat toast was all air. Home fries would have been perfect if they had been fried... 90% not, but potatoes had been par boiled so they were "done". Coffee moderate, but cold brew was wimpy. Server was very pleasant and prices were standard albeit small portions. This place has promise, but signs of systematic corner-cutting abound. Visited on a Sunday morning around 10:00. There was a short wait, they were busy, but it was only about 10 minutes which is great for a Sunday morning. The menu had a great selection of offerings. I had corned beef hash which was not canned! It was delicious. It came with eggs cooked to order, which I gave to someone else in my party since I don't like eggs, and toast (the sourdough was very yummy). The other person in my party had the chicken biscuit sliders covered in gravy with hashbrowns and eggs. The hashbrowns were okay, but I think they needed cooked slightly longer. The sliders were good and filling. The staff seemed to work well together, and the other person I was with never had an empty coffee cup. The cost was average for breakfast.
