Let me save everyone a trip to this restaurant - DO NOT COME HERE!! If I could give this 0 stars, I would honestly give it a negative star rating. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The wait staff was not completely knowledgeable when we were placing our order. The staff stood around and talked the whole time. When our food came out, it was wrong and we had mentioned it the waiter who got an attitude and proceeded to go in the back to talk negatively about the issue. Mind you, we are the only customers in the restaurant so we heard everything. When I said they were negatively talking, I am not kidding. The food was below average, cold and did not taste fresh. We will gladly not come back here again not only because of the sub par food but most definitely because of the wait staff. I wanted to make mention to the wait staff that we heard everything that was said and they blatantly lied. Funny how 3 of us hear the same exact thing describing the exact scenario that took place, of course with the wait staffs extra flair of lies. Again, do not come here!

My first impression was this looked like a nice diner with friendly staff. However, when we were sat at a table with silverware and menus which had clearly not been cleaned, the visit went down from there. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but her choosing to memorize orders instead of writing them down had her asking questions which had already been answered, and one item served incorrectly although she was really quick of resolve. My choice was a Buffalo chicken sandwich, which looks like a Tyson frozen patty you would get in a large pack at Sam's club. I would not recommend it. While my experience was disappointing, my wife enjoyed her meal. Perhaps breakfast is where this place shines. I would just reconsider if you are looking for lunch or dinner items.

Just waited an hour for no food with three small children. Milkshakes took 25 minutes and we never got our breakfast. 40 minutes into our wait we had to tell them what we ordered again. Total dog Shit, they weren't that busy they just suck. Who makes the only kids in a restaurant wait an hour for pancakes? DO NOT GO HERE.

This really is 3.5 stars. Nice local breakfast spot with good prices. Service is tops. Potatoes under done. Not covid friendly. Good coffee.

We had lunch here one afternoon and we were excited to come back for breakfast. The lunch we had was very very good, my wife had a beer and a burger...... I had a club sandwich very good. Back for breakfast! this restaurant is very clean the staff is extremely friendly the food is good. I ordered eggs Benedict my wife reluctantly ordered the chicken fried steak selecting fruit as her side... The chicken flyrod steak was over cooked and over season gravy was good. The eggs Benedict was good the holiday sauce had excellent flavor Canadian bacon was good and the muffin was proper. unfortunately they peppered it with paprika for some reason?? not quite sure... the home fries were horrible. Waitress was less then par but very friendly.

As we were driving down 41 we spotted this old fashioned dinner and decided to check it out. If you love salads, like I do, the endless soup and salad bar is a great deal. The salad bar had more then enough choices, including: cottage cheese, pasta salad and broccoli salad. There were 3 choices of soup and I can say the Chicken and Rice was very good, lots of chicken and I just needed at add a little pepper. They advertise that their meatloaf is "famous" so we will definitely return to give it a try. It almost felt like going back in time as it brought back memories of diners from years gone by that have been replaced by chain restaurants.

By far the nicest diner I've ever been to. My wife and I were heading back to Boca from Captiva and were in search of a Starbucks or any place for some breakfast when we stumbled upon this 24 hour oasis. Pleasant decor and lighting. Breakfast served all day. I opted for the soup (3 choices) and salad bar at 11 am! The creamy broccoli soup hit the spot along with basic salads and toppings. Hard for me to find my favorite French dressing was there. clean clean clean. And Fresh. $8.99. Salad bar and soups included with most entree at no charge. Unlimited of course. My wife had eggs toast fruit etc prepared as she requested. Coffee $1.98 was excellent and our server Natalie also gets 5 stars for disposition and efficiency. What a pleasure. Took my last cup of java in a to go cup. It's a 2 hour drive from Boca but maybe faster in the middle of the night when we have a craving. The baked goods looked outstanding and I took a photo. This is not gourmet food but it's the best execution of a diner establishment. I meant to ask what the clientele is like between 1 and 5 am. You won't be disappointed!

First off, we come here often because of the salad and soup bar included in the already reasonable entree prices - watch out Sweet Tomatoes. We've always gone around 10pm on weekdays and the waitresses are always kind and attentive. Lettuce always looks crisp and not wilted. Some of the soups taste EH or like a chili version - but hey it's "free". Avoid the spaghetti - it tastes a little like chili and just is overall 2 stars. Husband swears by the chopped steak. Their fries are really good and the garlic toast is A M A Z I N G. Everything breakfast is pretty good however if you like strawberries on your pancakes then might want it on the side since it is a bit gelatinous.

The place is filthy.

How can you be a breakfast restaurant and open at 11am? I would love to try your breakfast during breakfast time.

The catfish was excellent as well as the old country favorite- chicken fried steak! We also really loved the biscuits and corn bread. The sides were out standing as well! The mashed potatoes and gravy were also just what I was looking for. The other side I chose was corn fritters - just ok but perfectly fine, although more batter to corn ratio would have made them more desirable. Hubby had the chicken fried chicken and he loved it and his sides of potatoes and mac n cheese. Our family had fried chicken and they thought it was crispy outside, fried well and juicy inside. They also ordered a grilled ham and cheese with a side salad. Didn't get a ton of feedback on the meal but the plate was pretty well cleaned off when we got up! Our waitress was fast, efficient and really sweet. She quickly brought to go containers for our food and drinks. The ambiance of the restaurant gave it a very homey and rural feel, which was just fine with us. It sits nexts to the state farmers market which was not running during our visit. However it was still busy when we sat down to eat at 2 pm. Recommend it!

They were packed and they were doing their best to get people in and out! It would be legit if they added big ceiling fans to the outside seating area for days like this to keep the air circulating. We got a variety of dishes: the chicken fried pork tenderloin, eggs Benedict, chicken & waffles, the kids pancakes, the kids breakfast sandwich, and fried okra to share! Everything was fresh, hot, and fantastic. The only thing I don't recommend is the kids breakfast sandwich. It is just eggs on white bread! My favorite was the chicken & waffles. My kids ate half of it, it was that good! Our service was amazing from both the hostess and our server. I definitely recommend and would come back in a heartbeat. Even though we didn't get to sit inside, we went in to look around and it's super adorable. I love the ambiance of an old fashioned diner, especially the bar that overlooks the busy kitchen!

Love that! Decided on lunch. The order: grilled fish sandwich with extra lettuce; a side of Mac and cheese (how can you not get Mac and cheese at a diner? It is what diners are to be judged on!!); and a piece of banana cream pie Probably one of the best grilled fish sandwiches I've ever had. It had the lettuce, some coleslaw to keep it interesting and a piece of fresh grilled fish. The Mac and cheese was death row meal worthy! Loved the banana cream pie too! My waiter Avery steered me right on the selection. Went back another day for lunch. I had the fish on the Ellie Mae salad and it was good. And the key lime pie. Avery waited on me both times and is a gem! Very pleasant, attentive, and dead in with his suggestions. Wish I could return! Need to try the breakfast!!
