I told him I was unhappy and I wanted some kind of discount. He said he make a few calls and get back to me, then the installers called and could install the next day. The shop was in a bit of a remodel stage when we were there, but they had everything well organized and were very helpful. In the back they had wood, door and stained glass. While nothing was cheap, I did think the prices seemed fair. My wife chatted with the owner and he said he could fix old door locks. They had plenty of old door knobs and old locks if you just want to replace them. I will definitely have to come back with some projects in mind and a vehicle to load stuff into. One of the highlights in the Waynesville antique scene.

They even searched their old stock & refurbished one specifically to suit one of our doors. American industry once provided quality iron and brass goods that work like a dream 100-130 years later.
