Charlie stopped by the next day and said he would come back and finish/correct things, and that was the last I heard from him. It's been almost 2 weeks now, and no response to my texts. I can't speak to the quality of his work because nothing was finished. I'm now having to scramble to do the projects myself while the weather is warm, though the sliding door will have to wait (and be basically unusable) until I can get someone stronger to lift the door. Almost 65 and reasonably adept at most household repairs, but decided to give the back and knee a break and get help this time. I chose poorly.

Now it's 5 LED lights on one wire, like christmas lights that one goes out so they all go out! Jeff has 40 years experience- that is what is priceless! He knew what to do, how to do it, and had all necessary parts on the truck! I called a bunch of "different" appliance repair shops but ALL OF THEM redirected me to Sears Home Repair. It would've been days later at over $500 for them. I found Jeff and he was in my house 30 minutes later. A true professional with a military mindset who would not give up on a difficult job. He found the problem and got all the LED lights working for much less than half of what the others would charge. Jeff is now on my cell phone speed dial!! Highly recommend him for any appliance repairs in Roanoke area!!

Severe storms & high winds are expected tomorrow & there was concern about the door being ripped off. Did a Google search for repairmen & came across KeenFox with great reviews. Entered an online job request & got a call back from Michael. Being in Burnt Chimney, we are out of their range that they work within. Michael took a personal concern for the damage that could be done by heavy winds & our inability to fix it ourselves due to some health issues. He drove an hour to our home, arriving around 8 PM, and repaired the door for us. Couldn't have asked for a nicer repairman or better service. We only wish we lived within his usual service area so he could be our regular repairman. Cannot thank him enough for his kindness. For folks living in Roanoke and outlying areas closer in, give him a call for your needs!

The crawl space was very small. So small I had three companies turn me down due to the restricted crawl space. Coates Electrical didn't flinch at the crawl space size and did an excellent job. They completed everything in just a day. James Coates, the owner, is very friendly, courteous, and thorough. After I explained what I needed he walked me through how he would accomplish the job. There were no surprises and I got exactly what I wanted. I feel James truly cares about his customers and doing things the right way; even if it is the more difficult way. I would highly recommend Coates Electrical! They will get all my futures business. Thank you gentlemen for a fantastic job!
