He fixed the light above our kitchen sink that hadn't worked for a long time. And the light in our refrigerator was acting like a strobe light. He placed some tape over the button that controls that light so now the light doesn't go on when we open the fridge but I'm glad that the flickering has stopped! Also, he noticed that the kitchen faucet had a weak water flow on the "stream" setting. He told me what to do to get it back to normal. I really appreciated that help. I was tired of having to use the "spray" setting all the time. Overall I'm very happy with the work Minde did and also happy with his fee. He's friendly, respectful of my home and he's very adept at fixing things! He's really popular/busy so I'm glad that I waited for him to be available. Thank you Minde!

I use Roger for all my building/assembly and pretty much all housework, I can't do on my own. He's…read morethe handyman of all handymen! Super nice, professional, quick, flexible and does a great job installing everything I've, so far, have asked from him. Not to mention, reasonably priced! Last year, I asked Roger to install security features into my home as I recently was going through a breakup and had a big home to myself and my 7-year-old son. I had him install an outdoor ring camera (which he connected to my internet, as well, before he left knowing that it was working and ready to scan the premises), an OnGUARD Door Reinforcement for my front door, a screen metal door for my back door, a Door Barricade Bar for my master bedroom and a sensor light for my backyard (photos pictured). Let's just say, I feel sooo much safer in my home than I did before Roger installed all of this. I have used Roger multiple times (bike and light installations) and will continue to hire him for any projects. His flexibility and his dedication for excellent builds/assemblies are unmatched. I have a great amount of trust in him that he will get the job done quickly and correctly. Finding an honest handyman like that is hard to find because frankly, I've tried! But no longer will I have to stress about how things will get done because I can quickly text Roger of his availability and rely on him to get things done, correctly and efficiently. As a single mom, who has a full-time job that has no knowledge on tools, building and rarely steps foot in Home Depot, it means a lot and I am appreciative of Roger and his team. Thank you!!

I needed someone to assemble some Ikea cabinets for a laundry room (seeing as "Handyman Assembly" was listed as a service that they provide). Then - NOTHING. I waited a few days. I sent an email following up. NOTHING. Finally, a full two weeks after my initial inquiry, I received this email response: Hi steve, I'm so sorry about such a delayed response. I'm sure you've already booked someone. I did review the specs, it's out of the project's too small, we just don't deal with these types of cabinets. We're more so specialized in closet cabinets and similar. Best, Roger Chong Owner Bilt Rite Furniture Assembly & Installation Sorry Roger, fail. I would have appreciated a prompt "sorry your job is too small" response so that I could have moved on. So don't go to them with a small job or Ikea cabinets. It was a total waste of my time and energy. Hopefully I will save you the trouble.

The items arrived yesterday, and after only 3 hours of installation, my mom noticed oils stains at the bottom of the mattress. She only noticed the stains because the mattress kept sliding back and forth as she was trying to put on bedsheets. My mom decided to go in-store today 2/10/26, to address the stains with the owner. She put me on the phone with her and immediately the owner was defensive saying that in her 40+ years of business this has never happened. She accused my mom of causing the stains because she slept on it overnight. What kind of customer service is this? As you can see in the photo attached, the photo was taken on the day of delivery at 5:26 pm. This stain was already there. She then offered to do an exchange for $60. Good customer service would've been free considering that the stains were not caused by the customer, but what did we expect from an Asian furniture shop? The typical rude and cheap! You get what you pay for. Stay away from here...

I recently purchased two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets with glass doors (30 3/4" x 37 3/8") but only to…read morerealize they were too heavy (over 80 lbs each) to assemble on my own. I decided to hire a professional assembler again and opted to try a different company this time for comparison. [Quote and scheduling]: Assembly Masters do not list pricing information on their website. Customers must request a quote via the "GET A FREE QUOTE HERE" button on the website or by calling their contact number. I submitted my request online and received an initial quote of $119.00 (flat rate with no tax) for one cabinet. However, I clarified that my initial job request was assembling two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets and the representative apologized for the typo. Unlike few other assembly companies, Assembly Masters require (1) customers to provide their full address and phone number for order confirmation and (2) provide credit card information to secure the appointment. I later called their number where I spoke with Todd who was very friendly. He finalized my appointment and processed my credit payment payment over the phone. [Service terms and conditions]: Here are some key service terms and conditions to be aware of - * FREE street / validated or paid parking by customer; parking to be provided for Assembler * All boxes to be located in the desired area for assembly prior to arrival * Attaching Items to the wall is an optional service - added charge may apply * Moving items to another room after Assembly is not included * Empty boxes and debris are stacked neatly for disposal by customer * Assemblers do not haul trash/ boxes away after service is complete * Assemblers are NOT required to move existing furniture/ Items * Pictures/ Video of assembly are taken by Assembler for verification [Process]: The technician Alvaro arrived within 24 hours of my booking and within the 3-hour scheduled time window. He was friendly and well-prepared with his tools. Alvaro was able to complete the assembly of both IKEA BRIMNES cabinets in just over an hour. [Conclusion]: Assembly Masters provided a reasonable quote and completed the job efficiently. However, few areas could use improvement including (1) allowing customers to pay in cash or by credit card in person before the job begins rather than requiring payment over the phone, (2) listing clear service prices (or price range) on the website instead of requiring customers to request a quote, and (3) offering to haul away empty boxes instead of leaving them to the customer. Personally these are relatively minor issues, but another furniture assembly company I recently worked with managed to accomplish all three of these areas in addition to completing the assembly job. If these points are not dealbreakers, Assembly Masters is still a solid choice for anyone looking to save time assembling IKEA furniture.

During the initial consultation, Marcelo provided me with a clear and detailed explanation of the installation process and assured me that the two installers he was sending would be experienced and accommodating...and he was right! On the day of the installation, Alberto & Kevin arrived on time and (to my surprise) completed the job that day. Alberto even made helpful suggestions for the placement of the bed and took the time to answer all of my questions. The quality of their workmanship was exceptional, with great attention to detail and a focus on ensuring that the bed was both secure and functional. On top of that they were so nice and extremely helpful. They even moved heavy furniture from one level of our house to another and cleaned everything up once they were finished. I even got a follow up call from Marcelo just to see how everything went. They were the best! Overall, I would highly recommend Mr. Assembly to anyone looking for a high-quality, professional and reliable installation company. You're in good hands with them!
