This guy said he wouldn't charge us unless he was able to diagnose and fix the issue. he came and spent two hours at our hiouse. Could t figure out the issue and still charged us $500 . We still paid him. Southern Ca Edison came and correctly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. It turns out that they are the ones who we should have called first but we didn't know that. They said we can submit a claim for reimbursement. Alfred dodged all my husband's atttempts to get an invoice. When I called, it turns out he refused to give me an invoice because he thinks I am going to commit fraud all because I asked him the day that he was here if he is licensed bonded and insured which is a normal question to ask of a contractor. He accused me of trying to commit fraud when he was the one who spent two hours here and couldn't even figure what the problem is all the time saying that he had to leave to buy his mom lunch. read more

Look no further! This is who you're looking for! None of the circuit breakers tripped in my house. I went to reset it and it still didn't work. All the appliances were out. It's in the middle of the night and I search for 24 hour electricians. The first company I called did not pick up. I call AAA Electric next, and they pick up right away. I explain the situation to Fredo and he tells me he doesn't need to make a visit and charge me for that. (He said he could but this is something I could do myself). So, he has me send him a picture of my circuit breaker and guides me on what to do. And guess what? It worked! Alfredo is a world-class professional. I don't know what better way to put it. He called me back even after I had to set the phone down to run to my child, then promptly came within an hour the day before Christmas Eve. We were able to troubleshoot the problem, however it ended up being SoCal Edison as it was an external electrical issue. He called them and spoke on my behalf and relayed the seriousness of the issue to them and even followed up later several times to make sure we were okay and safe with the temperatures dropping at night. I do believe with his help, he got to the right people at SoCal Edison to get my lines fixed promptly before there was a more serious issue, and god forbid a fire. Great communication and quick service. I called in the morning and had my malfunctioning electrical outlet fixed by the afternoon. I expected that the appointment window I made for same day service would have me waiting around all day. Not the case! I got a call back, as promised, with a specific time and the technician arrived within minutes of the scheduled time. The technician was quick with his work and didn't make a mess. The outlet was fixed rather quickly and so he even had time to fix the furnace which I had tried unsuccessfully to light on numerous occasions for no extra charge. I was reffered to this company by a friend and then checked it out on yelp. Al is a super knowledgeable guy. I needed to rewire my house and a garage and Al was very professional and accomodating. He drew up the blue prints and pulled the permits with the city for me. I loved that because I dont like dealing with the city. He got it done quickly and efficiently. Also, I could always reach him directly on the phone to ask any question. He was very patient and explained everything in detail. Part of my apartment had no power which is a huge problem since I have 3 kids. After calling several electricians, that were either closed or charging $200 per hour, I found this company. His rate was $150 but only charged me $95 since I am a veteran and all he had to do was to do was inspect the system and flip a breaker that had tripped. Will definitely use again. read more

We had an issue on Sunday. I called and I was told the weekend rate, is $150 per hour, vs. $115 for weekday rate. Some electricians are closed on weekends. I was thankful to find someone open on weekends. I called at 10:30am, he told me he'd be there by 11:30. As it turns out, my home warranty has specific electricians they work with and AAA wasn't one of them -- I ended up having to cancel. Which was a bummer because he was very friendly and courteous. We all have that day (or you will soon have it!)--the outlets in the kitchen are dead, the stove's overhead light and ventilator fan fail and come to think of it, the hallway ceiling light has not worked in years and the fan in your son's room no longer works. Good lord, not only that, you realize that you also need a ceiling light in your wife's work space replaced. You buy the items from Home Depot and then you pick up the phone with anxiety--you want what we all want--excellent service--but what does that mean? It means an electrician who is a polite gentleman, an efficient and clean worker and who offers a fair price--AAA delivered on all these points.
