Still love this place! They need pork entrees on the menu like they have at the real/fake, Ameri/Chinese restaurants on the east coast. (Boneless spareribs, anyone? How is a rib boneless?!) Lack of pig options aside, I love Hanami. Order accuracy is paramount at this restaurant, And the best of their (too large) menu is unrivaled.

Whenever I'm too tired to cook but still want something more than fast food we hit up our go to Chinese place. They're consistently delicious, every dish we've order we've liked, and their turn around time is super quick. The drive thru is a little sketchy, but that has nothing to do with the delicious food.

Highly recommend this excellent restaurant! We were on vacation driving from Pittsburgh to Holmes County and wanted some good sushi. Don't let the appearance of the outside of the building stop you from going here. The inside is very nice and the food was great quality. The server was super friendly and quick with the food and drink refills. We had bento boxes, sushi rolls, and a Chinese dish. All were delicious! I was able to feed a hungry family of four for less than $100 and we all got really full! We are so glad we stopped here!

The sushi was pretty good ! However the service isn't the greatest we were sitting there wondering when our server was coming back ... lol. It took a while to get our rolls, took about 30 + mins, and we had to go up and get our check as we were waiting 15 mins for that as well. The outside looks ... tough and we almost left when we pulled up but the inside is pretty nice. I'm sure for this area it's one of the top places, but being from Columbus it's pretty mediocre. Not to mention they told us the pricing on the menu didn't reflect current prices.... There was a $3+ difference on each roll ... a little bit unexpected but thought it'd be a nice heads up for the next person ! The prices were even more than outlined on the website

I really like this place, I've gotten lunch here 5 times, and learning how to navigate the menu and the great folks who work here. First off, there have been mistakes on their end. Missing food. Not getting correct change. But I am learning how to mail that down. Check your order thoroughly before you leave the place, and also make sure you get the order rung up exactly how you have ordered. I saw a couple of bad reviews because of waiting a long time for food. Or because they got home and the order wasn't correct. Or you got charged more than you thought. These folks are very nice. Just check your to-go bag of food (because no dine in yet) and add everything up when you order it, so when you get there, you can say "this is what I see is the total bill". I have no problem doing these things for this place, because the food is so good! Heck, today they charged me an up charge for my sushi lunch, because I specified the kind of fish I wanted. And I was charged as if the sushi was an extra side. I should have gotten the sushi lunch, and ordered the extra sushi as a separate order. And they forgot the gyoza. But when I called, they apologized and said they would make it up. And I know they will. Not worried. And their food is excellent! I just don't believe in doing a bad review, when I really don't believe they didn't mess it up on purpose. The food here is GREAT!!!

Very clean, pleasant service and delicious food. When we are in town it is one of the first places we stop.

A Beautiful Atmosphere and Outstanding Service for a Truly Special First Visit:…read more My first visit to Mizu Restaurant in Niles, Ohio was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant was absolutely immaculate. Everything looked spotless, polished, and well cared for, which immediately gave me a great first impression. You can tell they take pride not only in their food and service, but in the atmosphere they create for their guests. One of the first things that caught my attention was the beautiful wall of water with bubbles in it. It was such a unique and eye-catching feature, and honestly it set the tone for the whole evening. It gave the restaurant such an elegant and relaxing feel. I absolutely loved it. It added a calming, almost upscale touch that made the whole place feel special without being stuffy or uncomfortable. The ambiance was another standout. The lighting was low and warm, which made the restaurant feel cozy and inviting. The music was also at the perfect level -- low enough that you could actually enjoy your conversation, but still there to add to the mood. They had popular music playing, and it blended in so well with the overall vibe of the restaurant. Everything about the setting felt balanced, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. What really made our first time at Mizu memorable, though, was the service. The wait staff was amazing. Our server was attentive in a way that felt natural and genuine, never forced. I never once had to ask for anything because he was always right there when we needed him. Drinks were taken care of, questions were answered, and every need we had was met almost before we even had to mention it. That level of attentiveness can completely change a dining experience, and in our case, it absolutely did. What stood out most was how the staff made our first visit feel truly special. There is a big difference between simply being served and being genuinely taken care of, and that is exactly how we felt here. We felt welcomed, appreciated, and comfortable the whole time. For a first-time visit, that means a lot, because it instantly makes you want to come back. Mizu Restaurant gave us more than just a meal -- it gave us an experience. Between the immaculate cleanliness, the stunning water feature, the relaxing ambiance, and the outstanding service, this place left a lasting impression on me. It's not often that a first visit feels this complete, but Mizu really delivered in every way that mattered. I would absolutely recommend Mizu Restaurant in Niles to anyone looking for a place with a beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and a dining experience that feels a little extra special. Our first time there was memorable for all the right reasons, and we will definitely be back.

The portions were very great for the price. Ambiance has some nice decor and a bar for date night, celebration, or just a night out with family. Ordered an eel roll with spicy tuna inside, spicy tuna roll, chicken katsu, some sweet potato rolls, and salmon sashimi. Everything was fresh and was very good. Service was great.

I wish I could do zero stars. My son and a group of his friends, 15-16 yrs old, go get dinner…read moretogether once a month. Yesterday they went to this place. Their entire bill came to $221, $27 of which is the mandatory tip. They all hand their cash to one boy to pay the bill and he inadvertantly put all of the cash in the bill folder. They gave the waitress a total of $310 dollars. She took the money, left and came back with the receipt, but no change. The kids didn't know what to do when and were reluctant to confront the waitress so they came to the parking lot to get me. I spoke with the manager, explained what happened and asked how to fix the problem. The waitress automatically goes off in Chinese for six solid minutes, yelling at the manger. He then looked at me and said she claimed the kids gave her exact change. I can tell you she was lying because she got the exact total wrong then corrected herself. Then she quoted the next amount which ended in an odd number, saying that's what the kids gave her. All the kids gave big bills, no $1 were given. That's the second lie. The manager said he would review the camera footage and get back to me. He didn't. I called him the next day and 430pm and he said he was too busy to look at it. I got him to look at it while I was on the phone. He did. Twenty minutes on hold and he came back and told me that the cameras stopped working at 604, which happened to be right before the kids paid the bill (odd), and he didn't see the kids transaction or what the waitress did with it. Either the waitress went all oceans 11 on the $87 overage, or she split it with the manager I say. Bottom line. At best their wait staff takes advantage of people, at worst they're theives. Either way, they'll never get a another dime out of me or the parents of the 9 other kids families. Seems to me like it would not be worth $87 but I guess it is to them.
