We were spending the day baking, so ordered about half the menu for dinner. I enjoyed the chicken with snow peas. My mom got the rice noodles with shrimp, with sounded nice, but didn't have a lot of flavor, so we loaded it up with the snow peas, and that combo was really good! There was also an order of Buddhist's delight - veggies and tofu in the box, and while I didn't know what to expect, was also really great with the rice noodles. The crab rangoons weren't my favorite - a little flavorless. My sister really loved her roast pork egg roll. I found the veggie spring rolls pretty solid, and the chicken lo mein also. My cousin had the sweet and sour shrimp, and I didn't have the sauce, but the fried shrimp were quite good - they went fast! Delivery was quick, too, and the food was all packed in a big box, which made carrying it pretty easy. read more

We ordered Barbecued Ribs & Green Pepper Steak. The ribs were just bones with fat instead of Pork. The Steak was Soggy&real chewy. Not Good! We feed it to the animals in Our Woods. $30. Wasted! read more

We order from Main Moon probably once every two weeks and we have no complaints really. It is a good place to to get your Chinese food fix in a pretty quick time and the pricing isn't half bad either. read more

The bourbon chicken barely looks or tastes like chicken. I couldn't stomach trying to bite into or chew it. The consistency was rubbery. I was hoping it'd be similar to the bourbon chicken in the mall food courts - very far from. The sauce itself wasn't even good. Ordered veggie fried rice to go with it. The veggies were crunchy - raw like. Would be much better if steamed/cooked first. Ordered a side of white sauce thinking it'd be the white yum yum sauce - it was a thickened (like gelatinous) chicken broth? Hanami Express has much better food and is a few buildings down. read more

Main Moon Chinese Restaurant - Bourbon Chicken "chicken" - Chinese Near Me - Youngstown, Ohio

It was my Mom's birthday dinner and she suggested we get her dinner from Main Moon. Upon eating the General Tso's, my husband discovered he had bit into a piece of chicken that had a metal screw in it. He thankfully did not damage teeth but easily could have. That discovery made everyone in the family lose their appetite. My Mom called Main Moon to report it, hoping for a refund on our order. Instead they kept insisting someone brings the meal with the screw back so they could see it and then they would give us a replacement General Tso's. We did not want to drive back, mid birthday party. Despite asking for a refund they said the most they would do is "credit a meal for next time". But why should there even be a next time? Accidents can happen anywhere but how a business reacts is what will make me decide where to still support. read more

Main Moon Chinese Restaurant - A metal screw found inside our General Tso's...discovered deep in the breading of the chicken. - Chinese Near Me - Youngstown, Ohio

Don't normally leave reviews but had to share this public service. Normally we love their food. Ate here many times. But today we ordered and they gave us the wrong order. Drove 10 min each way to get it. Called and they acknowledged they gave us the wrong order and said come get the correct one. Mind you, they made it very clear we had to bring back the other food and would not pass me the correct order to I handed them the food that was ALREADY OPENED!! This isn't an issue they needed to verify. They knew they gave us the wrong order. But WHY would they want the opened food back? So I asked. And he said, "They throw it away". Yeah right. Nasty nasty!! Normally a mistake like that a restatement says keep the other order and here's your correct order. Can't help but think they're going to recycle that for another order. Will not be going back after that eye opener. read more

This is first time Ive ordered here. They got the order wrong which was not supposed to be sweet and sour chicken. That wasn't a big deal but the chicken pellets taste just like someone forgot them in the deep fryer. They were hard and barely chewable no matter how much sauce you threw on them. read more

Good food! Sweet and sour chicken is the bestt! My boyfriend also loves the General Tso's!

Delicious food...quick delivery...didn't know our order was at the front door, though? GrubHub delivered the order and should have at the very least knocked to let us know....thankfully, my husband heard a car door, and a few minutes later checked the front door, and our food was on the porch read more

This is the equivalent of a 'Chinese McDonald's' in my opinion. It's very fast but not very good. The chicken is always very hard and difficult to chew...I suspect they precook their meat early in the day and then re-fry when a customer orders. Some restaurants do this to get through the busy time. I don't know this for fact, it's just my hypothesis. It would account for the hard, dry chicken though. The egg rolls taste like they're from a freezer, store bought then deep fried...very greasy. Not very clean, the inside looks like a page out of the seventies. The one bright spot are the people. They are always very friendly and kind. But the food...not good. read more

3rd time they've forgotten something, whether it's an egg roll, sweet n sour sauce, drink, it's always something & have to go all the way back to get it and not even a sorry or hey here's a free egg roll next time... spend 40 bucks a time there... will be giving my business to lil hunan from now on ! read more

Nice small place for enjoying good Chinese food. Clean restaurant and friendly workers (=

Very flavorful Chinese food! Always forget to include the pop in our order for take out though. Love their egg drop soup!

Very good Chinese food. You can dine in also. Friendly atmosphere. Was very pleased.

One of the better Chinese takeouts to get in the area. That being said, you get what you pay for. It will be consistently good Chinese food. No more, no less. read more

Great food. Good prices. Fast service. Nice people. I had a wonderful experience until I found a fly in one of my sweet and sour chicken pieces. Disgusting. Need to pay more attention when preparing and serving food. No excuse. It's a shame I really wanted to like this place. read more

I went here simply based on all the great yelp reviews they had. Maybe the food used to be better or I came on an off night but This food is barely edible. I got the bourbon chicken, and it was really underdone, I took one bite and I lost my appetite. Everything else was ok I guess but really not worth paying for. I almost never write negative reviews I just don't want someone else to fall into the same trap I did. read more

I love this location, I've been eating here as long as I can remember. It's very clean, and has a friendly staff. The food is pretty cheap compared to most Chinese cuisine. You can dine in, it's not a huge restaurant, but it is perfect for a date. read more

Just ordered Beef with Chinese Vegetables There was not ONE piece of beef in my food ANYWHERE!!!! Ridiculous Never eating here again

The food is decent, portion size is good for the price. Realistically it taste the same as every other Chinese take out you've been to. I did like that they give you the option to have chicken fried rice instead of pork with their combination meals. They also have a drive up window which is nice when calling ahead. read more
