I wanted to love this place and based on the reviews, my expectations were high. Don't get me wrong, the ambiance was fine and the staff were OK. If we needed something, it wasn't difficult to get someone's attention. For me, it was really about the food, and it just wasn't comparable to what I've had being from San Diego. Overall, what I ordered was average. I ordered the Moon River roll and one spicy scallop hand roll. I didn't enjoy that the scallop in the hand roll was cooked; I've never had it prepared that way before. I guess I should have asked how it was prepared prior to ordering. It also lacked spice, but I did appreciate the sesame flavor and the freshly chopped spices added to it. The rice, however, was nicely prepared. Also, I did get a free Salmon Kama for checking-in on Yelp. I don't think I'd return to this spot, but I wouldn't discourage others from trying it. read more

Me and my husband love Hana sushi. Our favorite roll is is oishii roll. It's so fresh and bursting with flavor and texture. We also like the ginami roll, definitely recommend if you like salmon. After this encounter, we all agreed we will make it a point to only go to the Winchester location as they are very kind and attentive to my mother's allergies.

I will have to return soon, but I'm vegetarian so I might have some limitation, but we'll see. Maybe they'll whip something up? The interior is trying to be real hip and it sort of works in a positive way but a little bit of that modern gauche. You know, kind of like Z gallery meets mid-century with a slight Lichtenstein tribute with a cartoonish flavour. It does work though, and carries to the exterior or the exterior carries to the interior? With the limitations of a strip mall it's a little bit hard to put lipstick on a pig. But they've executed it well and it's inviting and a departure from the norm. I'm excited to get there soon.

the sushi is good but it seems like the staff is very careless. we used to love coming here. I don't know if it's under new ownership or what but everything seems different. we had to ask a few times for certain sauces, and we ordered dinner online and they gave us an open bottle of wine that was wrapped in a plastic bag. my husband didn't notice it was open until we got home and didn't wanna drive another 20 minutes back to grab another one when we had a busy day and just were hungry. when we called for a refund they refused and kept saying that they would have to talk to the manager who apparently wasn't there. my husband could've been arrested for the situation that they put him in and we just wanted them to make it right and they refused. they did not call us back after we called them multiple times trying to figure out how to rectify the situation. read more

Absolutely incredible experience at Hana Sushi Menifee. The fish quality was honestly on another level. The salmon was so buttery and fresh it practically melted in my mouth, and the tuna was unlike any I've had at other sushi places -- even the color was noticeably richer and more vibrant. I asked the server about it, and they explained that they receive fresh fish daily and never freeze it. You can truly taste the difference. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, clean, and high quality. If you really appreciate top-quality sushi and fresh fish, Hana Sushi is definitely worth visiting. I Booked a party for the patio for 10 people we get there and are told the patio is closed. We express our frustration and the owner says fine I'll put you out there but we won't be turning the heaters on.. it was extremely cold out and we waited 20 min for a server. We left and took our business to Murrieta Hana who treated us like gold and were so happy to accommodate us. Never going back these people are a whole different level of rude and have ran this place into the ground with their nasty attitudes in the menifee location. Their hospitality was top notch, and every recommendation they made was absolutely delicious. The Sushi Nachos were incredible. They are definitely a must order. They also have an excellent selection of sake and soju, which made the whole dining experience even better. It is rare to find a place with amazing food, outstanding service, and such a welcoming atmosphere all in one. They also serve ramen, so there is something for everyone. If you are on the fence about trying Sushi Ka, do not be. You will not regret it. I highly recommend this place, and if I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would!

This time we ordered the Ceviche Roll, Fat Boy Roll, Ichiban Roll, Viking Roll, and Popcorn Roll. While everything was delicious, the Ceviche Roll was easily our favorite. It was incredibly fresh, light, and refreshing--the perfect roll for a warm day. Every roll we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive. It's hard to find a place that consistently delivers great food every visit, but Sushi Ka has done exactly that for us. We always look forward to coming back, and we'll definitely be returning again on our next trip.

Ordered the exact same thing to-go (service was super fast, done in 5 min max) Combo B (snow crab, shrimp and crawfish this time) seafood boil, medium signature sauce and a side of rice. The crawfish are huge!!! So large there's substantial meat in their claws also and very delicious / plump tails. Corn was so sweet and nice large slices of juicy sausages.
