This hotel location is perfect, it's at the end of the boardwalk so not congested with people walking and on the beach. The beach is right across Ocean Blvd with easy access. Checkin was very easy and the stafF was so nice. Room 310 a partial ocean view balcony room was spacious with 2 beds. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable and a fridge. They offer ice in the lobby and coffee/tea/hot cocoa all day. There is also a microwave in the lobby. They have a parking garage attached to the hotel and lot next to it. The only issue was with the RUKU TV, it was not easy to use, it won't work without a smart phone and it did not have any normal local stations (abc/cbs/nbc/fox) or ESPN and the staff was unsure how to get any of those stations, they offered for us to sit in the lobby yo watch a sports game since they were not able to help find it on our room tv. read more

The place is ok. It's not modernized other than the flat screen tv on the dresser. You will need to bring your own soap and shampoo for handwashing and showering. Clean white towels were provided. read more

The location of this hotel is pretty good. You're across the street from the beach with a couple convenience stores around the corner. We stayed here in October so after the usual beach season so I was surprised when we couldn't get a room with just one bed. The room we did get was fine- clean sheets and towels but the rug was ick and didn't spend longer in the shower than necessary. Really needs some updating - at least new shower rods and curtains which aren't rusty?? The vending machines on our floor didn't work and the coffee in the lobby was available due to Covid-19. The workers occasionally wore masks but I guess the plastic dividers kept us safe and apart. Since amenities and services were cut down due to covid and it was off season and they couldn't even give us a room with one bed.... I feel was more expensive than it should have been. Will probably look elsewhere next time we go to this area. read more

I had a very poor interaction with the hotel. I made a reservation, with insurance, and needed to cancel. I called the hotel direct line, and the 833# as I was directed to and neither one would answer. After many calls, unanswered, I simply had to focus on my 85 year old father that was in the hospital and NOT calling the hotel. I lost $184.77, and the time and aggravation of calling continuously while my father was ill, to no avail - and no refund. I would NOT recommend this hotel! read more

This is awful supposed to be an up scale hotel. I have stayed here the past couple of years but I won't again! They refused to send housekeeping to the room at all! They told us to leave our sheets outside and they would leave us clean ones to make our own beds. We had to empty our own trash several times since we stayed a week. Our floors were filthy since we were at the beach and had food in the room with a 6yr old, and they refused to vacuum! They said it was all non contact due to COVID. Shit I can understand them not wanting us in the room but no service for aweek! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Awesome hotel and within walking distance to everything. My wife and I spent our 30th wedding anniversary here. Upon check-in we were informed The A.C. was not working in our room and immediately got upgrade to suite on the 4th floor no extra charge. This suite has has 2 private balconies ...one overlooking the ocean. Suite was spacious, bed comfortable and not noisy as expected. My only regret was not a long enough stay in such a great room. Kudos to the staff for being gracious hosts! We will be back. read more

Just returned from my first time in Hampton, and I will definitely be returning to the Hampton House. Yes, the hotel is dated, but don't let that sway you. Front desk staff were personable, I was even able to move up a floor, ocean front room with private balcony with seating, walk in shower (! love). Room was spacious, very clean, comfy beds, great pillows, and nice size fridge. There is a microwave in the lobby as well as ice, and coffee all day. I reserved a room for 2 nights at the Hampton House this past weekend. Upon check in, I was asked to sign a waiver regarding Covid. I wore my mask the entire time I was in the hotel, yet not one staff member at the Hampton House wore a mask. There was a sign on the door before you enter the hotel asking you to wear a face covering yet the front desk clerks wore no masks, the evening security person wore no mask nor were guests at the hotel asked to wear masks. The housekeeping staff did not tend to the rooms which is understandable, yet when they were in the hallways, elevators and entering rooms to prepare for the next guests, they wore no masks or gloves. I asked the front desk clerk upon check out why they were not wearing masks or asking guests to wear masks and he basically just shrugged his shoulders at me with no reply. If you want a safe hotel stay, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

We had a great time last weekend! Perfect, clean room with an amazing view. It was quiet and the staff was so friendly. I had emailed them the day before my check in with a few questions and they were quick to respond and so helpful! This was our first stay but this will now be our go to spot to stay in Hampton! This weekend we had to travel to Hampton for an AAU tournament and I spent many hours trying to find the hotel that met all three of our needs, basing my choice on reviews. The Hampton House was THE perfect spot! Walking distance to all of the fun and excitement, but not too loud and crazy at night. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I booked 4 months ago and requested a room with a partial side view, but specifically asked for it to be in the front side of the building, while booking and the women who booked our stay said that would be no problem and said they had a room close to the front on the side. We get here and they stick us in the back side with the only view being the building right next to us. i paid 595$ for 2 nights to stare at the back of a building. read more

Located in a nice spot. I would recommend this place for a vacation stay. Get an Oceanfront view room, it's worth it! Stayed here recently with my son. We will rebook for next summer. I have stayed a few different hotel/motels and the Hampton House Hotel, has been the best one so far. Pros: Non-smoking establishment. Check out at 11. Close to everything- food shopping, and beach!! Ocean front rooms worth the extra $, for the views!!! :) Cons: Parking is a little tight on site. The noise in the hallway from loud guests echoes back into the room. No pool. The Shower curtain was noticeably moldy. ;( Other mention. We were given the room key, and when we went to the room, the housekeepers had just started cleaning it! Then the Housekeepers rushed when they saw us, and only made the bed and left towels. (Ew) read more

My rating is due to the outstanding way, the owner/manager handled an unexpected situation. Came for a mini vaca away from home with my husband and two little boys. Our king size bed room was immaculate. The most clean room in a hotel we had ever booked. And we booked absolute last minute same day! Perfect amount of space for 4 of us. And the best balcony ocean view, which included two chairs and table. Free garage parking conveniently right next to elevator. Was very impressed to see this hotel provides you with Paul Mitchell brand shower products. Friendly and welcoming customer service from the day shift woman. I wish I could remember her name, but she worked the day shift on both Tuesday and Wednesday and she was blonde. Thankyou again to this particular employee, and the owner for making our trip with our little boys, well worth it. A family mini vaca to remember for sure! We stayed on oct 24th I Highly recommend the Hampton house hotel!! Our experience with all staff members was awesome. They went above and beyond!! We were celebrating my sisters birthday and they allowed us in early to decorate ty !! Not only did they accommodate this but they helped our family create a memory our sister will never forget. They provided some props for my brother to provide entertainment. The view was amazing. We were on the fourth floor overlooking the ocean. The room was clean. Very convenient location and comfortable beds. The lobby and halls are a bit tired but the bedroom was clean, large, and less dated (the down comforters were great). This is the best hotel on the strip! It's right across the street from the beach, and has a great coffee shop next to it. It's also at the end of the boardwalk so its not as crowded on the beach, or populated with people. It's an easy 5-7 minute walk to the casino ballroom! The employee's were exceptionally friendly and helpful especially when Expedia booked us in two different rooms for our two night stay. I was surprised to see they have Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner for their guests to use. The rooms were clean and the beds were cozy. We will definitely be back next year! read more

My husband and I have gone off season for the past 6 or 7 years and have always found the staff to be professional, friendly and helpful.
