I'm retired Army 31 months ago and moved to Vancouver last year. I had about a 12 inch crack on one side and about a 6 inch crack on my windshield on my other car. I took it to Hampton Auto Glass and I'm am well pleased!! These people are the salt of the Earth and professional as well. They gave me a quote, proactively told me that if I need a ride home they would take me and come pick me up. Jon was very happy to take me home and was willing to pick me up if I needed it. Hampton Auto Glass did a phenomenal job of replacing my windshield. I took my car in at 9 am and it was ready for me by 1:30 pm to pick up! You will get friendly professional service with a genuine concern for you and your Vehicle without hassle. They even explain to me how long it will take for the seal of my windshield to mature. I needed to repair a chip in my window and as I was headed out of town in evening, I needed to see if it quickly could be repaired. I stopped, talked to Leah who was so friendly and helpful and explained right away that Mark needs to look at it to see if can be repaired. Mark explained it was close, but thought it was worth a try, assuring me it costs nothing if I end up needing a new windshield instead. He explained safety issues, and why it is important to take care of these chips etc. He was so quick and fast, and one half hour later, I have a repaired window! They were so professional! I am very satisfied with the service I received here. I have gotten a full windshield replacement before, as well as "fills" for windshield chips. The men in the shop do a great job. Tabitha at the front desk is very nice and helpful, she makes the experience more comfortable. The business is fairly small and sort of hard to locate the first time around, but these are just minor troubles. read more

I decided to try Hampton based on a recommendation of 2 friends who had happy experiences there. I was greeted and treated graciously from the moment I pulled in. The quote I was given was in the price ball park and I was able to make an appointment just a few days into the future. I delivered my car at the appointed time and was told it would be ready by 5 pm of the same day. I arrived a few minutes before 5 and my car was done and ready to go. I was offered a ride home and back by the owner and although I made other arrangements, the offer is a normal part of their service. In summation, I was treated with respect, they did exactly what they offered and when it came time to pay the bill, I was informed they did not need to replace clips and trim. Not that I would have known either way. They saved me over $50 off the quote. I feel like they are honest, responsible and do what they say. 2 of my friends have had great experiences with Hampton and now I can add my name to the list of referrals and very happy customers. Would I use Hampton again ? You better believe it. So refreshing to deal with a Mom and Pop shop that is honest and stands behind their work. Great Job Hampton Glass ! read more

Nice enough staff. However when I took my car in to have a minor leak fixed that was running from the back of my rear window into the trunk. The job actually resulted in a larger leak. I took my car to Hamptons about a year ago to get cracked windshield replaced. They were reasonably priced, and everything went well. A few months later I started noticing water getting into car, and thought maybe was through the windshield (wasn't sure but guessed might be issue). I took my car back to them after the water issue got out of hand, and they gladly took a look. The issue ended up NOT being the windshield, but they took the time to check rest of car to help me out. They even vacuumed out the inside a bit to clear some of the mold that had grown on carpet due to leak. I really appreciated the added effort to help fix a problem that wasn't theirs. read more

I called in the morning about the rubber seal around the front windshield starting to come off. I was told to come in and they would look at it. I showed up at 11:45 am. I was greeted by a dog (Lab), wasn't sure if I should walk in as I could not see anyone. Took a chance, and walked in. Dog was friendly. Some guy was sitting at a desk, didn't look up and asked if he could help. Explained situation, he yelled for Mark and told him to help me. I explained to Mark about rubber seal was flapping in the wind and that I had put some duck tape to hold it down. Not once but 3 times told me how duck tape is a bad idea because it leave a glue residue. I told him that's all I had at the time on a road trip. Duck tape came off with no problem. Mark was totally baffled this rubber strip was coming off. Kept asking me did I cut it, did I remove a piece? I said "No". As a matter of fact this is the second car I have owned that this has happened to. He said, "I would need to come back so he can glue it". I asked how long of a time should I expect for this to take and he said "Well, if you didn't come at our lunch hour I could do it today". I said "I couldn't do it today, so how about same time on Monday". He said "Not at this time, cause it's our lunch time". I am all for lunch breaks, but last I check with businesses they had other employees to cover lunch breaks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. I actually checked Yelp to find a good place, drove to the other side of town and got this kind of service. HELL NO. By the way, I do LOVE dogs, but to have one right at the door of your business, I think is ridiculous. And if you are not going to have employees working during lunch time, post your hours as closed for lunch between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. I own my own business, customer service is not that hard people!!!! By the way I would have given them NO STARS, however I was unable to. read more

I had heard good things from my friends about Jan Hampton's shop so I called and got a clerk who was too lazy to put me in contact with Jan. I had to insist he get off his rear and fetch him. The clerk was short,crass and pushy and after talking with Jan, I concluded the clerk was a manipulative lazy bum that Jan allows employment for whatever reason. That said I was able to speak with Jan who seems like a nice enough fellow. I explained I had a vintage car and that I needed a house call install for both front and back windshields. Jan gave me a price and we agreed on a day and time. I arranged to leave work early to be present to meet Jan. He was a no call no show. After about 10 minutes past the agreed time I called his shop only to get his obnoxious clerk who explained he was "in a meeting" and he would have him call me. Another hour went by, no calls! I called again. The clerk said he would contact Jan immediately and I would get a call in 5 mins. No call!!! I wound up installing my own glass. Hampton's Glass has NO Class!! read more

They were fantastic. I was in San Francisco and I was advised that my car in Vancouver needed a new windshield with a large crack. I called around to other glass places including Glass Doctor near Hazel Dell and Salmon Creek. Glass Doctor wanted to charge me and extra $100 over Hampton, and then $50 more if my windshield needed tinting near the roofline. Hampton was able to work out payment by phone with my in-laws dropping off and picking up my car. They did the repairs on my time schedule. Their price beat everyone else. Hampton installed my glass with the tinting on the roofline for $150 less than Glass Doctor, with great service to boot. read more

I'll keep this review short and simple. The side molding on our 1996 Acura Integra windshield came loose (two retaining clips broken during a local car wash) two days before we began a 1400-mile drive to Colorado. Talked with Ray at 2pm on Wednesday, explained our situation, and he agreed to order and install a replacement windshield at 8am the very next morning. We arrived at Hampton at 7:45am, and Ray was already working! When we returned at 4:30pm, we were completely happy with the outcome. The new windshield was 100% perfect...trim and fit were exactly precise, almost surgically installed. Ray was pleasant and professional, and didn't gouge us on the cost of the job...very reasonable. If anybody needs a solid, honest professional to handle repairs to or replacement of auto glass, I definitely recommend Ray at Hampton Auto Glass. read more
