I called in to set up and appointment and the owner told me they are booked on Saturdays for the next two weeks. So I set up an appointment for 3 weeks out. I showed up at the 10am time and was greeted by the super nice lady who owns the place. Some weirdo who was there with no appointment had called her "baby" prior to me coming in the door so she had the window tinting technician come in to deal with him and her and I went out to my truck to talk about what I wanted done. We talked about just doing my front windows as she said that the back windows and back window already came with 15% tint. They did it would bd done in 1 hour so I went off to go have breakfast somewhere. She called me 45 mins later to tell me it was done. The windows look great so far. I am happy with the quality of the tint installation so far. I had them do my a previous truck of mine a few years ago and they did a good job on that truck as we. I would come here again if I needed my windows tinted again. Also, I have seen people post on here that they take your change from you money change stash on your car. I have been coming to Ultimate Window Tinting for many many years. I had the original windshield UV tinted when I bought my Jeep brand new in 2019, last fall I drove it back east on a road trip and got a crack in my windshield. I got a new windshield when I got home and came to Ultimate to have them UV tint the new windshield, drove home put the Jeep in the garage, went out a week later to drive it and saw a pretty good size air bubble in the tinting, drove back to Ultimate for them to look at it, they could not get the air bubble out so they completely replaced the tinting while I waited at no charge, now that is great customer service and why I will not go anywhere else for window tinting. My car was broken into while in Seattle back in Sept 2017. Since I already had Formula One Pinnacle Series tint on my car (from SoCal), and now had a new non-tinted window, these guys were the closest to Portland that installed that typed of tint. I can called and gotten a quote over the phone and made an appointment for the following day since it would be fast/easy. I dropped off my car, and headed over to The Megabite for lunch. My car was done within an hour. At time of checkout, they were going to charge me more but I had reminded them I was quoted for a lesser price. I was informed that was the incorrect quoted price, but they would honor it (thank you!). When I buy a new car, I will definitely come back here for the Formula One Pinnacle Series tint! However, it's apparent that they want to "cherry pick" their customers and business. They've chosen to NOT do boats. They've also chosen to NOT do any vehicle older than a model year 2000. Soo.... There are a lot of products out there - the main thing about it is to make sure the installer knows what they're doing and cares about their work...lifetime warranties are on the line! They have a lot to offer and explained the options well. They were on-time for the appointment and had my car ready at exactly the time they said (if not a little sooner). They are busy, so I couldn't schedule right away, but it's like how nobody wants to eat in an empty restaurant, right? The prices are a little on the higher side, but you get a great guarantee. Great for tinting windows, VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR CLEAR BRA. I've gone to Ultimate exclusively for my vehicles for the last 8 years. I had my newest car tinted and did the clear bra as well. There are two nicks or divots or tears in the clear bra. The warranty does not cover this and Ultimate wants to charge me to remove the bra, then charge me again for a new one. I could repaint the front of my car for less money. The holes in the clear bra are the only blemishes on the car, but Ultimate assures me that even though the rest of my car is clear of damage, the bra took the only damage. Too coincidental for me. My last car had more marks on the hood than the bumper. Very disappointed in the customer care. I love the tint, but will have a hard time going back with my next car. read more
