First of all, this is my first experience with auto glass shops. Judy Reno actually seemed to be a fantastic person, which is mainly why I am giving it four stars. Very nice. As will eventually happen to everyone and all cars, my front windshield had a small crack, starting at the top (just behind the rear-view mirror) and ran directly down the middle of the front windshield, which is what brought me to Reno's Auto Glass. Now, I am a fairly oblivious when it comes to cars, being a computer programmer, but I think the cost was around $250, which I am assuming to be at least close to a decent price. (Judy told me on the phone that she would give me a good price...but I really don't know.) The repair was supposed to run near four hours, but the replacement window cracked as they were installing it, so they needed extra time. That's cool with me. I know shit happens. Can't avoid it sometimes. The repair seems fine, only relatives of mine looked at it and mentioned that the window seal seems like it's lifted off of the window a bit. So we took it back to the shop to ask about it. They "reglued"(?) some cracks in the seal which might have come about when we pulled the tape off, but the seal still seamed like it wasn't on all the way. The dude that checked back over it said that it was only superficial. Basically it looked weird but wouldn't leak. And until I actually see any leaks, I am inclined to believe him. Luckily my brother is a car guy and says he will put some extra sealant on it just to be safe. Probably the best thing about this experience was hearing the people there talk. The dude that touched up my window just referred to me as bra, and brotha! I love people that talk informal like that. It's the best! And Judy said that if I ever need software work she'll put me in touch with her brother in Seattle who does software! That's relating to the customer! read more

All the staff I encountered were very friendly so no problems there. I had an installation done at the house not the shop. Installer showed up on time and was quick and friendly. My problem lies with the install itself. The gasket surrounding the window is lifted up 3/8 of an inch around one corner. I noticed that today, went to the shop and was told it's just cosmetic - don't worry about out. Whether or not that's true, it's not right. I expect a business to want to get it right. UPDATE: Ok, I just was talking to the wrong person. I got a hold of Judy (owner I think) and damn, she was on it. Next day I've got a guy making it right in my driveway. No questions, no hassles - all she wanted to do is make it right. A+ on customer service. read more

My advice... Don't risk it! I had the guys at Reno Autoglass replace a broken windshield in my 2011 BMW 328i awhile back because they were a couple bucks cheaper than others, they were close by and they could do it the same day. A few days after I had the windshield installed I opened the hood of my car and noticed that some of the plastic parts in the engine bay had been completely destroyed, and some molding screws were missing from parts covering the lower portion of the windshield. After a few days of rain I noticed water collecting in the passenger side foot well and I could hear water sloshing around in the climate fan, and I'm not talking about a little bit of water I'm talking pools of standing water... Took my car back in explained the problems they said "oh no problem we'll fix it right up, we'll get you new plastic parts to fix the broken one's, clean the interior carpets and treat them to prevent any mold, and replace the windshield no charge." I'm thinking Ok sounds good, make it right... So when I picked my car up they told me that they had installed the wrong windshield which was missing a special seal lip at the base of the windshield on the outside which is apparently a BMW Volkswagen thing but essentially the way it was explained to me was that any water that comes down the windshield goes directly inside the car without it... Awesome nice work guys! Drove off with the new windshield and a freshly shopvac'd car thinking that's the end of it, except they never replaced the broken plastic parts under the hood, oh well I'll eat it right... A few days after the replacement windshield was installed my radio and navigation system took a dump totally crapped out... nothing, totally blank screen. BMW repair cost $2000.00 can I prove it crapped out because of water damage... No. Did it crap out because of water damage from a messed up windshield install, I believe the answer is yes. So that was all awhile ago, but today I just had my windshield replaced by a company I know and trust, because my windshield was leaking into the passenger footwell just a drip but still leaking. After the new windshield was installed the trusted company I went to showed me pictures of the reason why my windshield was leaking. Tooling that had been used to replace the windshield at some point had damaged the car enough to prevent a new windshield from sealing properly with out some additional work being performed to address the issue. Anyways long story short after the second install I gave them every possible chance to make things right, but in the end they never did and I gave up. I'll also say that at no time did the folks at Reno's Autoglass ever point out any damage they caused in the process of their fouled up windshield install. read more

Total nightmare....first of all, Judy will blame you if anything goes wrong. That being said, we had our windshield replaced and we have had several issues in the last 8 months since the install. First issue, we showed up for the appointment and the installer wasn't there. We had to wait 30 minutes before he showed up. I should mention, we told them we could only wait the hour they said it would take because we had kids in school that would be coming home. Second issue, they ordered the wrong windshield. Once he got there, we watched as he struggled to get the windshield installed. He had to try a few times. Two hours later, they were finally able to install the windshield. Third issue, the moldings on the side of the windshield fell off. They did take them off, but apparently the side molding clips were bad. We had to buy the clips (they wouldn't order for us or have them in stock). BTW they didn't recommend new clips when we set up the appointment. When we got the clips, they didn't have the right epoxy and we had to wait longer before the clips could be installed. Fourth issue, we were driving back from a 200 mile trip and the molding were falling off again. I called Judy and she told me I must be wrong they wouldn't install the moldings on our car. They don't need to be removed to install the windshield. Also, I told her I thought we had the windshield installed October of last year (it is now June 2016), but i didn't know the exact date. She said she checked here records and our install was over a year ago. I looked at my bank statement when i got home and the charge was in September 2015. She totally lied to us. Now we need to go get the molding redone and i am thinking this will be on ongoing issue. Look at the other reviews even if they have alot of stars. You can see they still had install issues. Don't trust her "27 years in the business" speech, just go somewhere else. read more

I had Judy's crew replace the windshield in my daily driver truck when it got a crack. They did a great job at a very good price. After my experience there with my truck I knew this was a place that I felt comfortable taking my '67 Mustang to have the glass replaced. I needed a new windshield and just needed the back glass re-installed on the freshly painted car. I called around to several places just to get estimates to compare to Reno's and most of the other shops did not want to even touch my classic. I took my car to Reno's Auto Glass to get a cracked windshield replaced. I was able to get this done quickly and everything was great. A couple of months after getting the work done, a piece of molding framing the windshield flew off while I was driving on the highway. I called Reno's and they called the Ford Dealership to find the part number. Apparently this is a common problem with the Explorer and it is recommended that the two side molding are replaced when the windshield is replaced...to the tune of $139 per molding! I was willing to pay for the piece but Reno's insisted on paying for the part and installing at no charge. Now THAT is customer service! I will continue to use Reno's for my auto glass needs which will hopefully be minimal but I figured I could put a great review online and perhaps repay them by sending some customers their way! read more

Reno's Glass, especially the owner, Judy is awesome! I needed my driver's side window replaced after it spontaneously shattered and needed it quick! Judy squeezed me in Monday morning and it was done by 2, even though I also needed my cracked windshield replaced AND the clips that attach the window to the motor. It ended up being more than anticipated but her charges were fair and she apologized repeatedly for how much my bad luck was going to cost me. Judy's communications were so helpful and I felt like she really went out of her way to help me. I'll gladly recommend Reno's. They're the best! read more

I went a while back and got my drivers side window replaced on my 2001 Toyota Solara. We did have it replaced with a non-manufacturer glass but the installer didn't know how to install it, so it goes all over the place and never rolls up right. I didn't go back to get it fixed cause I don't trust the installer to correct the mistake. All in all I would never go back or recommend this business to anyone. We spent well over $250 and it's worse than the original problem we had. read more

I really wanted to give this place a decent review, because Judy seems like a very nice lady. Unfortunately, I can't. I went in for my scheduled appointment, they took off my plastic I had taped on, removed a bit of residual glass, then go to try and put the wrong piece of glass on. Spoiler alert: it doesn't fit. So they take a look at my registration for the VIN number (which he never put back in my car, btw), and he notices that it says "sport" ... you know because it's a sport utility vehicle. So they reorder the glass but for a different make that uses the word "sport". Another spoiler alert: also does not fit. On top of that, both times that they took my plastic off I had to ask them to put it back on. Both times they did a very poor job on that. For the cherry on top, the installer made a comment with a racist undertone- I guess he thought I wouldn't mind because I'm a white lady in Vancouver? Judy recommended I try a body shop since they couldn't find the right glass. Instead, I just went to a different (and yes, slightly more expensive) glass installer. They had no problem finding the right glass and installing it in less than an hour. Save yourself some time and a headache and just go to the place with the slightly higher quote. read more

Excellent service and the best deal in town. The first time someone broke into my car, I called around to all the shops in town to figure out the best price and the fastest service. Judy undercut the price of the competition and got the glass faster than anyone else could. She also recommended that I change my deductible on my comprehensive insurance to $100, which has saved me a lot of money. I have gone back to Reno's every time I needed glass work done since then, replaced a couple windshields and just recently another break in. Usually I go to their shop for repairs but this last time, the technician actually came to me and fixed the window while I was in an appointment. What service! Had a nice big crack in my windshield that seemed to be getting larger every hour thanks to the gravel used on the freeway during Snowpocalypse 2017. I drive a 1971 Datsun 521 truck and was having trouble with the windshield seal leaking - I needed a shop that was willing to go the extra mile because it's hard to find glass for my rig. I was referred to Reno's by my co-worker - Judy did an outstanding job of getting me a new gasket and looking for a new windshield for me. In the end, I found a replacement windshield at the junkyard. However, it was the wrong size. Joey and Judy were able to salvage my old windshield and replace my gasket without damage. They totally went above and beyond by cleaning up the shelf where the windshield sits. There was epoxy from the previous install that needed to be scraped - they also removed surface rust and primed so that no furture rust will develop. The charge was reasonable and the work was outstanding. I highly recommend Reno's - Excellent shop / people and they will take care of you! read more

Worst EVER! They did such a shotty job I now have water coming into my truck that has created a mold problem! I am furious with this company!! The whole situation was horrible. I called about a rear window for a 98 Ford Ranger and set up appointment to come in. When I came in she soon realized they had the wrong glass to replace and began calling around trying to find the right one. She acted as though I should know her profession by saying I should have told her I needed a window for a 97 for that truck because that is the date on the door sticker...even though the registration and title say it is a 98. I wouldn't know there can be a different year for when it comes off the manufacturers belt line and that may constitute a different part. I sat there forever while she called around and waited for calls back and dealt with other things...easily over an hour. Finally she said they could use what they got and make it work otherwise it was going to cost $100+ more and I would have to wait. She said the glass was same size, just didn't have some brackets or something. So went ahead with that. When we got our truck later that day, the glass looked fine but the black gasket around was sticking out on the two top corners. Not flush against the truck. I took it back the next day and the guy put some black putty in there and pushed it down. I asked whether that would hold and what if water got down there. He told me it would hold great and if water got down in there it just goes down and drains back out. TOTAL LIE!!! We now have mold growth, pools of water, and around the ENTIRE black seal its sticking out (not flush against the truck) SERIOUSLY...we paid $300 for this crap job and now its ruining our truck!!!!! read more
