Couple hundred miles on so far, no issues outside of the ones that were already there lol. I'll be bringing our fleet to these guys moving forward. Thank you guys for the great experience! As a side note to pricing; it was right in line with what I would imagine anyone else would be. I'm sure it could have been more and could have been less, I wasn't shocked by the amount. :) 2009 Pontiac G6 for reference

After doing some additional repairs the car was returned, however dashboard lights reappeared and they were unable to resolve it after multiple attempts. Shortly after while driving the steering assembly on the car completely fell apart requiring a flatbed tow, had this happened at higher speed on a highway this could have resulted in a fatality. The certified dealership mechanics who examined the car afterwards found that AAMCO failed to tighten the bolts to spec and all of the cotter safety pins were missing allowing the steering system to fail. Extensive damage was done to the underside of the car and it is currently not usable. After seeing the extensive damage, my dealership will not recommend AAMCO Ballwin to any of their customers in the future.

The car's not fancy but is paid off and drives well... thanks to JB Auto. It's much better thanks to some recent repairs. They replaced the oil pan gasket, and now the small leak is gone from the garage floor (Goo Gone had cleaned the concrete just fine; I just wanted the leak to stop). That provided a side benefit that, removing the pan enabled all the oil and the grit and grime from the 100,000 miles to also leave the engine. Then we confirmed two of the three engine mounts were worn down, so JB replaced them, too. The car now runs and sounds smoooothe.... so nice. Thank you, JB Auto, for keeping the car running so well! 2017: Our car required no repairs for eight years, but a few these past couple years. After the last repair we explored trading-in for a new car. I wanted some more confidence in our decision. I knew J&B from driving past it, next to Ballwin City Hall, on a regular basis, but just hadn't called them until now. I explained that we just needed to make a "should we keep it or trade it in" decision. Grant helped get us scheduled quickly. Their review was a good one, thorough and competent. It happened to also provide good news... the car is incredibly solid now, and may just need a couple things as it approaches the 100,000 mile mark. That was comforting overall, and on the pocketbook. We look forward to returning to J&B as soon as we do need repair work and do recommend them to others, for their honesty and straight-forward way of making sure the cars we drive keep running. Thanks, J&B!
