So while it's old in years, it's much younger if you base its "age" on odometer miles. And it's still a comfortable car with features you can't find today and it's paid off. So when I realized that it had growing rust under the doors, between the front and rear tires, on both sides, I was hopeful for rust repair and not replacement. After a few phone calls to other places, I was guided to Hampton Auto Body West, where I met Charlie. Charle quickly understood my goal - keep this car running as long as possible with minimal investment beyond normal maintenance items. Charlie's provided an estimate to repair the rust and we agreed for him and his team to perform the work and I'm glad we did... the metal under both doors is new, clean, rust-free, and looks great... so good that I'm tempted for them to paint the rest of their car, too... but that goes against that goal of minimal investment in the car. But they were accommodating and gracious when we came to get the personal items out of the cars. Two were repaired. In short order, with extra accommodation to the non-body work that had to be done, by collaborating with the engine people. And it all got done in one fell swoop without too much of my intervention. They communicate well on what's going on, how the insurance claim is going and when the car will be delivered. When I walked in and they knew my name, I knew I was a frequent flyer!! Found this place here on Yelp - drive over to look at the facility. The owner greeted me and answered all my questions and gave me a quote. Made an appointment today and when I went to get my car they were just finishing. The car, a 2010 Cayman looked amazing. Nothing was missed, quality materials were used. Again I was greeted by the owner who has excellent customer service skills. We went out and looked over the job- he told me a little about what they had done and why. After visiting their location, and talking with Cesar I made up my mind that this was the place to take my car. I brought my car in on a Tuesday evening and got it back in a week. They did say it could be done by Saturday, but it really didn't bother me to get it back late since it looked fantastic. I stopped by one of the days to take a look at the progress and was impressed how glossy my car looked. When I finally picked up my car after everything was done it looked brand new. The car is six years old so there are some chips in the front, but I liked that they called me with progress and let me know about all the imperfections. Furthermore, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything more. I truly felt like they were just informing me of things they found instead of trying to get me to buy more stuff. I recommend them over any other detailing shop, and will certainly be bringing my cars there in the future.

Didn't put panels back on correctly and many missing clips. Wound up breaking the sunroof frame and wouldn't close. Had to take to the dealer for repair at a cost of $2200. Had to fight to finally get reimbursed for that. The memory seat function no longer worked when they were done. Automatic wipers didn't work, wound up removing the panel behind the mirror and the sensor was just dangling. Fixed that myself. Panel in the rear was broke and wouldn't clip back in, fought for months to get a new one. I even gave them the exact part number and when they did order they ordered the wrong one, it was tan instead of gray. When they prepped the front for paint didn't protect the headlights and had sanding marks on them. Overall they do terrible finish work and then denied any of it was their fault.
