Came back from a trip and decided to go out for New Years Eve and realized my car wouldn't start. I called AAA yesterday and got a response that they would be sending over somebody from Hamner Towing in about 15 minutes. Gerry showed up at least in half the time and was great. He checked my battery and ran tests to figure out if it was just a battery issue or anything else. He informed me of what I needed to look for when purchasing a new battery. So I get a flat tire at work toward the end of my work day. I call AAA and they send me Jorge Silva from this company to replace my tire. The tire I had did not fit so he suggested to my husband who met him at my work that we needed to tow it. Tow truck driver from same company named David comes to pick up my truck. On the way home he calls me that he called a local tire company has the size of tire in stock got a quote and if I wanted he can take the truck there to replace the tire and meet us there. I have never had any issues with Hamner Towing since they are contracted w/AAA up until tonight. RICHARD was rude right from the start when he contacted me he was on his way, when initially AAA gave me an estimated time 10:20pm, RICHARD called at that time. I will be making a formal complaint on Monday about his rudeness & I was sticking up for myself since it was me & my young nephew which I did mention I would call the cops! I just had Gerry stop by the house to give me a jump and bring gasoline. AAA said it would take about 2 1/2 hours, and he arrived within 20 minutes. You should also know that he save me three hours wait time at Walmart or Pep Boys and sold me the battery for roughly the same price. It was door-to-door service, with a chump, gasoline, and a new battery. He was incredibly professional, courteous and timely. And I'm happy to give money to a smaller business versus one of the giants like Walmart. And happy to find a good reputable business in town. read more

Hammer was the tow company AAA called when my car broke down. Mind you its 106 degrees right now. I was told it would be 45 min. Its been 2.5 hours the guy just showed up. No courtesy call no ETA. He pulled my car out into the middle of the street, then got on his radio. Came back and said he got another call and he has to leave. They can't tow my car. AAA says they have another company an hour out. Don't leave ratings usually but now that I am going to miss my buddies wedding I feel like I have to. read more

Didn't catch the name of our tow truck operator but he towed my family and I from the Corona area all the to our home in Murrieta this past Saturday. Kind, knowledgeable, and just all around considerate enough to point out AAA benefits to insure that the 40 mile(approx $400) tow didn't come out of pocket. The folks and service at Hamner Towing are EXCELLENT. We stopped to get gas before heading to the beach this morning and my battery died at the gas pump. I tried jumping it myself and had no luck since it was completely dead. I called AAA and they dispatched Alejandro from Hamner Towing, who arrived very quickly. Alejandro was super cool, ran a quick diagnostic test, confirmed the battery needed to be replaced and then jumped started the car. While Alejandro was working, I told him I was going to head straight to Pep Boys to buy a new battery and then go home to install it. He saved the day by letting me know he could replace my battery right then and there and at a cheaper price than Pep Boys, with a 3 year warranty. I immediately said yes!! He grabbed a brand new battery from his truck, installed it in within minutes and got us back on the road to the beach. Alejandro and Hamner Towing truly saved our day today. Without their excellent service I would have had to cancel our plans in order to go buy a new battery and install it myself at home. Thank you Alejando, I appreciate what you did for us today. I started to pull into my private parking area but Hamner Towing decided to park there.
