Nice building, when we went for early dinner on a Sunday it was quiet and pretty empty very relaxed but service painfully slow. Beer list is average at best, food nothing special (bar food sandwiches and the like). I was pleasantly surprised by this local gem. The food is high quality and absolutely delicious. The dine-in atmosphere is cozy, and the bar robust. I only have some experience in the restaurant business, but it seems clear to me that this place is very well managed. Being new to Lemont I can say my first experience was not great or impressive. In my opinion the waitresses there can be a bit disrespectful. I gave this place a second chance since the environment was comfortable and the bartender there was great at being useful. I will no longer sit at a table the bartender rocks. The food here was ok, but the service, if you can call it that is totally nonexistent! Waitress dropped menus at the table, no greeting at all! Asked want anything to drink, dropped off iced tea that tasted absolutely awful, came back when the party I was with was not at the table and asked" Know what you want" Told her I was waiting for the other person, when they arrived, there was no sign of her. Finally took the order and acted like it was such an inconvenience to her.Brought part of the order, but not everything we ordered, but made sure we were charged for everything! I drive past this place all of the time but with so many other pubs nearby, I hadn't made it in until now. I was pretty underwhelmed. The interior has been redone since the 'upscale' lounge moved out and the changes are not good ones. I was disappointed with how cheap the interior looked. The crowd was older and it was not very busy on a Saturday night. My friends and I didn't order any food, just drinks so I can't comment on the food here. I did look at the menu and it was typical bar food. So, I'd probably never come here to eat. This is a pretty big space but the layout is kind of weird. The video gaming machines take up one entire wall and there was a back area with a bunch of supplies on a shelving unit in plain sight. Another table had boxes and random things all over it. The lights were pretty bright in there so it was easy to look around and notice the mess. It felt like they had forgotten to clean up before company came over. Overall, the waitress was nice and attentive and the drink selection and prices were just average. I will definitely suggest a different spot next time I head out with my friends. read more

Hamilton's is a great place to relax with friends and have a drink and great food. The atmosphere is lively with enough TVs to watch any sporting event. We were there on a quiet Sunday, but I can imagine the electric atmosphere during a big event. We will definitely return! read more

I enjoy the food at Hamilton's Pub very much. The food specials are very good. I have had the Chicken wings, the Reuben, Hamburger special (They will give you a lettuce wrap instead of a bun) and the tacos. The staff is very professional and courteous. I do not know much about the spirits offered, But they have drink specials daily and the bar always had a few people at it. The music is loud enough to hear, but not so loud it drowns out all conversation and internal monologue. There has been a few times where my order included something I specifically emphasized that I did not want but I keep coming back because of the quality of the food! This was our first visit and we will be back. We stopped by for a very late lunch on a rainy Sarurday afternoon. The place was full but got the nod to sit down from a table for 10 that was occupied by six. Our server was attentive and friendly. I'm glad I waited to write this review. I went to Hamilton's when they first opened and did not care for it. The menu was very limited, I got a burger, it was a "hockey puck" style, and although I liked their tap/bottle beer selection, I did not think I would go back. About a month ago a friend went and loved their steak salad, her husband loved their homemade burgers and said they have a great menu. I gave it a shot a few weeks ago on a Wednesday & they had a $5 Ruben sandwich with fries special & $3 Corona Lights. The sandwich was great!!! I could not even finish it. They have a complete menu and daily specials now. I think they just tried to open too early & didn't have their stuff together right. I have been back at least 3 times, tried several items, including the black and blue burger, buffalo chicken wrap, and wings. All very good. You can't beat their $2.00 16oz draft special on Thursday nights! I'm go glad I gave them another chance! read more

Zero stars! I begged my husband to give Hamilton's another shot. We went there 8 months ago. The food was decent but the service was horrible. Well, nothing has changed. Waited 10 minutes for any acknowledgement. Finally got drinks and ordered wings and dinner. Wings came in 20 min. After 45 more minutes we were finally told our ticket got screwed up. What a joke! Everything is good here. When I don't have time to cook dinner this is my go to spot. The wraps are awesome. All of them. The Ruben is my favorite and the beer selection is great. Bingo night on Thursday is turning into a big deal so it gets a little crowded, but it never slows the service down. 5 stars!! I usually really enjoy Hamilton's. However, we went there on a Sunday night and were very disappointed! Although it was advertised that they were open until 12:00 am we were given last call at 10:50 pm. If we were the only ones there, I would totally understand, but we were a group of 8 and there were at least two other groups of people at the bar. We all order a drink, and for some people in our group this is there first because they thought we had until 12:00 am, as advertised. At 11:30 pm we are all asked to leave. Again, I would have no problem with this if we were the only group at the bar. However when we were asked to leave because they were "closing" there was still a group at the bar that had full drinks. I'm not sure why we were asked to leave when they were clearly still open and we were not causing any sort of issue. We were just a group of friends out for drinks. Again, if we were the only ones keeping the place open I would totally understand, but as we left there was still a group at the bar that definitely had at least another 20 minutes to half hour left in their drinks. I think it was very poor customer service on the bartenders part and I very much regret my 25% tip.
