    Clean and plenty of seats

So we've been passing this place for years and always thought we should stop in.... So many thoughts as to what it would be like inside - happy to say it was better than expected! Such a neat little neighborhood feeling bar. There were plenty of tables and nice large bar area and it was clean and inviting. There was an unexpected little surprise with the fireplace and the bartender/waitress was super nice. The green pepper soup was excellent along with the pot roast sandwich. I really enjoyed the onion peddles and always a fan of a bar serving RC (bonus points for that) but the wings, while tasting great, were not as crispy in a few spots and for a 5 star the wings need to be rock solid. I will say that it was a great little spot and will be coming here again soon to try the burgers and give the wings another shot. For a quaint friendly little bar - this nails it

I've driven past this place so many times! They used to have a sign touting the pot roast sandwich, and I finally was able to give it a try. Yum City! It's served on a roll with cole slaw and crinkle fries. I am usually not crazy about crinkle fries, but these were fresh and hot from the fryer-just crispy enough. Delicious! Others in my group enjoyed their steak burger (looked good!) and pizza. It's a little on the divey side (hubby thought it was a biker bar). It really seems like a place where locals go for a brew and a bite. Full service bar, clean, adequate self parking, some gaming machines, service pretty good, not pesty. I look forward to my next trip!

Ordered take out from Mo's Willow Pub And Grub tonight for dinner and wasn't disappointed! My son and I got wings - I love that they weren't breaded! Super generous portions, I have leftovers for lunch or maybe a snack tonight! The Buffalo sauce is very tasty but not hot - the way I like it! My husband tried the italian beef and said it was great. Our daughter had the meatball sandwich and enjoyed it. Everyone loved the crinkle cut fries. Somehow they stayed crispy! 5 of us ate for under $50. ALL the pub food options! located on Archer in Willow Springs. Check out the menu - Have you tried them yet?

Ground beef burrito... suppose to be steak

Pizza was awful not fresh tasted like a aldi frozen pizza. Asked for a steak burrito they gave me a ground beef burrito. The Buffalo wings, onion petals, cheese wedges and Mac bites are the only things that was good ..

Really cute place. Ordered an appetizer. Came out wrong. Oh well these things happen. Had to leave so only had a couple beers and a shot. Nice bartender. I'd like to go back.

Good food and services. Cost is reasonable. I have always enjoyed going there. I enjoyed the fireplace in the cold weather.

The atmosphere was very "we're better than you," which is ambitious considering half the room looked genetically connected to famine survivors and dock workers. The confidence level in that building deserves scientific study. I walked in expecting casual dining and somehow ended up in what felt like an audition for "Medieval Lords of the Suburbs." The staff acted like they were protecting ancient bloodlines instead of refilling ranch dressing. At one point I honestly wanted to ask: "Sir, are you judging me... while wearing a polo shirt with barbecue sauce on it?" The energy was aggressively holier-than-thou for a place where the main cultural contribution is fried appetizers and vodka seltzer. To be fair, the food was fine. But the side of racial superiority was a little harassing for my ego. If you're looking for a place to drink with historic levels of racism and naturally redheaded bartenders, this is the place for you!

The restaurant itself is very small, with a bar and just a handful of tables, but that's part of its charm. It genuinely feels like the kind of pub you'd stumble into while traveling outside the U.S. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to walk in and find a table ready for us. My wife and I started with the pretzels and beer cheese appetizer, which was a delicious way to kick things off. For our entrees, I went with the fried pickle burger, while my wife ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The burger was perfectly juicy, and honestly, it was one of the best, if not the best, burgers I've had in Naperville. The buffalo chicken wrap was very good as well, with a nice kick from the buffalo sauce. Overall, Jackson Avenue Pub has that cozy, authentic pub atmosphere that's hard to find, along with some really tasty food. Definitely a spot we'd come back to!

I was even more excited after finding out it had been nominated for one of the best burgers in Naperville, I'm always up for a great burger. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Naperville. Parking can be challenging, but we visited on a weekday between 2 and 3 p.m., so we were able to find a spot without much trouble. When we walked in, we seated ourselves since there wasn't a hostess. Although the restaurant looks small from the outside, the layout is well designed, so it never felt cramped. Our server was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. She was handling both serving and bartending duties with only one food runner helping, yet she still provided excellent customer service. One thing I really appreciated was the ability to customize your burger by choosing your preferred protein and bun. My wife ordered the Cowboy Burger. It was good, but I definitely enjoyed my burger more. I went with the Diablo Burger, and it did not disappoint. The 1/2 pound beef patty was cooked perfectly juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The roasted jalapeños and sriracha sauce added just the right amount of heat, while the bacon and fried egg brought even more richness and texture. The toasted pretzel bun held everything together beautifully. Taking that first bite and watching the creamy egg yolk run down the burger made every bite even more satisfying. My wife and I left very happy with our meal. Whenever we're back in the Naperville area, we've already agreed that this place will definitely be on our list to visit again.

The mushroom and kale pie was nice and cheesy and the rocking vegan pie was more savoury, with a variety of vegetables and chickpeas as stuffing. The crust was neither too soft nor too crunchy. The highlight of the meal was the curry chips: potato wedges lightly fried with masala and curry leaves. The dipping sauce that came with the chips reminded me of tikka masala sauce, and paired beautifully with the chips. Dessert was toffee pudding: the caramel sauce that came with the pudding was delectable - the pudding itself was excellent and not overly sweet. We tried a variety of NA beers, and I was pleased with how many options they had. Service was quick, and we were well looked after. The ambiance is warm, with dim-ish lighting and a lot of dark wood. The restrooms were gorgeous - special shoutout to the lovely floral wallpaper. Overall, I highly recommend Pleasant House - the vibe is chill and understated and the food is stellar.

The sausage was very tasty, the breading on the outside was incredibly crisp, light, and the egg inside was cooked well. Both the steak pie and the chicken pie were very good. The chicken pie I think really needed the chutney that you can get separately. But that made it so much better and made it my preferred pie. The steak and ale pie was better than the chicken pie as a standalone, but needed a bit more gravy I think to elevate it. Sticky toffee pudding again was delicious. Surprisingly light, not overly dense so I was glad it came with the custard which was very flavorful. Overall, will definitely return!
