    Black & Blue salad

Read Write Reviews Louis D'Antonio I had an incredible experience at Irish Legend in Willow Springs! After a relaxing stroll through the forest preserve, I was craving something satisfying, and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the Black and Blue Salad with skirt steak, blue cheese, avocado, and balsamic dressing -- and it was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked, the blue cheese added a wonderful sharpness, and the avocado brought a creamy richness that tied it all together. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff that made me feel right at home. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, The Irish Legend is a gem that truly delivers. Highly recommend and can't wait to return which gives me no other option, but to give it the Read Write Reviews official five stars!!!!

Some delicious beer I selected, nice and cold.

Stopped in today after a quick morning kayak and trail hike. Grabbed a beer and a wrap, first time here and it was awesome. We will be back for sure. Thank you for the great service.

Great local place for beers, food and ambiance on Archer Ave in Willow Springs IL. Service is sincere. There are two parking lots but they can get packed on nice days when everyone wants to enjoy the patios. The food is good. We've had burgers, hot chicken sandwiches and apps. All enjoyable. Lots of changing local beer options. Prices reasonable. Some machines if you are into that. If not they're pretty tucked away and not distracting. Supposed to be haunted. Irish Legend used to be a regular stop for the ghost tours heading from Resurrection Cemetery. Worth checking out!!

The Christmas Manhattan is fantastic! The chicken Caesar is nothing special served with a whole grilled chicken breast. The service was not good. I had to hunt down our server to order an appetizer or get more drinks for the table. Found her chatting with co-workers in another room. It's a local bar and has some good Irish ambiance but don't expect anything beyond that.

We are in town for a two night camping trip and after a long, cold hike we were looking for a hot lunch in a warm place. I had noticed The Irish Legend on our way in and between the reviews and the proximity to the campground, we headed over. Upon entering we were immediately impressed by the Irish Legend. The front dining area was smaller so I asked if we could sit in the other room to the room. This was a large dining room with a second bar, huge fireplace, and lots of festive Christmas decor. Our server, Sarah I believe, was extremely friendly and attentive. She brought us plenty of water right away, took our drink orders, and we perused the menu. I have been craving a rueben lately so my choice was easy. My son got chicken tenders and fries. His friends had the hangover burger, fried chicken dinner, and a cheeseburger. One of the boys also ordered cheese curds. I was granted the last curd, and it was delicious, with a thin, beer battered coating. These were served with marinara. My reuben was great, with lots of goodness inside and perfectly grilled marble rye. The fries were also delicious. My son devoured them and said they are like McDonald's but not over salted like the golden arches version. The burgers were enjoyed and looked huge. The chicken dinner was described as fire. Our awesome server asked about dessert but we were stuffed after the generous portions. Next time we camp at Bullfrog Lake Campground we will definitely stop back in!

We've been to Irish Legends countless times over the past few years. They have 2 great patios (one in front and another on the side), they're both dog friendly. We have always sat outside and usually go for lunch. We have had a lot of things on their menu and they've all been great - meatball sandwich, burgers, reuben, grilled cheese, fish and chips, tavern style pizza, and chicken pot pie. The burger I had was a little on the salty side, but other than that, everything has been great! Fries are also excellent. I really enjoyed the chicken pot pie I had, this last time we went. Great flavor and the puff pastry was super tasty and fun to eat. The pie was a little soupy, but we drank it up! I only wish it had a little more chicken. There were only a few strings of shredded chicken here and there. They have a great beer selection and I love their warm spiked apple cider. We'll definitely be coming back!

The baked goat cheese is the last thing I'm going to have before I go to the electric chair. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. The Bourbon Peach Smash is delicious! Also had the Reuben Fritters, pretty rich. The tortilla soup was delicious! Overall good experience.

For a little dive bar, this place has some pretty dang good food! We got the fish and chips and the chicken bacon wrap. The fish and chips could have been cooked a little longer, but the fish was fresh and very tasty so it wasn't a big deal! The chicken bacon wrap was also really good. I love their fries too! They also have really nice bathrooms and they are very clean!

They do not care about meeting new neighbors. The prices are high and the server is indifferent.

Really bad quality pizza. Cheese seems to be poor quality. Very salty pizza. Pizza was cold, tasteless and old.

She would pass our table and not even look at us Eventually I had to yell "HEY!" to get her attention. The food was terrible. The good news was our dog got to eat 90% of it because it was pretty inedible for human consumption. My wife said hers was basically a minor upgrade from Olive Garden. In the end the best thing was the bread. It was actually very good bread but paying $160.00 for bread was a teeny bit high. I get it, it was a busy night but in those instances if you overbook you step up the service or at least try to give AF about your clientele' by having the head person go table to table and make sure people are getting what they should. Clearly they did NOT Give AF, They were only there to pimp out money for themselves. Totally disappointed.
