Hamilton Place Cafe - Hamburger - Cafes Near Me - Torrance, California

This is a cafeteria with a limited menu but nonetheless a good value if you're in the area and not wanting to travel far for food. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which was slightly spicy but delicious! I substituted sweet potato fries which was a great decision! The service is fast, I usually call and order just as am ready to leave and it's ready pretty quick. It's a small on the far side of a business building but you can ask the security guard for directions. A good option for good food at a reasonable price!! Best for a weekday breakfast or lunch!! read more

Hamilton Place Cafe is an unassuming small cafe located inside the Public Works building. My coworkers and I come here every Thursday to get our breakfast burrito fix! The breakfast burritos are amazing, and the lunch items are also so good. Fabiola is AMAZING and always makes us feel welcomed whilst remembering our orders. read more

Service and food great. Great cafe in the center of this complex. A must try! Ate bagel and cream cheese prior to my appointment!

Great, amazing, tasting food! My favorite is the breakfast. I'm partially biased though because breakfast is my favorite food. The cheeseburger combo is also very good. I want to try more of their other selections! Their service is fast and efficient! Great prices as well. The ambiance is typical cafe type vibe. I go here every time I'm in office! read more

It's a must try hidden gem! Just happened to be in the area and hungry for some breakfast burrito. This showed up on my yelp search, but the last time it was reviewed was 8 mos ago. Not 100% sure, but I took a chance! Glad I did! Reasonably priced, great portion compared to price, and my burrito tasted yum! Give it a try when you are in the area! read more

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 (Mimi and Jose are so kind!) Cleanliness: 5/5 Price: 5/5, huge portions for such a reasonable price Parking: 5/5, free parking in outdoor corporate lot Hidden gem definitely worth going to! Hamilton Place Cafe is located on the main floor/lobby level of a corporate building just across the street from Restaurant Depot and Chef's Toys. There are a bunch of different items on the menu, but the breakfast burrito is definitely my favorite! Potatoes are cooked perfectly, bacon is crispy and in every bite, and the cheese is melted goodness. The breakfast burrito comes with a homemade fresh mild salsa - so good!!! They cater, too! read more

The staff are always pleasant! The food fresh and prepared well! This is a go to spot for those who are employed in the building and nearby. I just heard one of my child's friends will be relocated to this area and let them know I would be sharing where to eat as I had been assigned adjacent to their location for many years, this was the very first establishment I shared. Simple meals prepared fresh and well at a reasonable price. Also, just outside is a wonderful fountain with seating, so one can enjoy the areas ambience with their meal. read more

I've only eaten here once... so take this with a grain of salt. I know the restaurants in this area very well and this place is probably the best value in the northeast Torrance/west Carson/south Gardena area. It's located in a large office complex but anyone can enter the building... the issue is finding the correct building. But once you've dialed in where it's located... it's not a problem. Also, LOADS of parking. I was surprised at the size and cleanliness of this cafe... far bigger and nicer than most office building cafes with lots of seats. Also, the prices are low and the quality of the food appears to be quite good. I will be back and update this review. read more

The Hamilton cafe service is amazing. The people that work there are super friendly and truly care about your order. I go there during lunch and what I usually choose is the chicken ceaser wrap or the chicken and egg fried rice. But every day they have specials that they serve. read more

The food is OK. Their daily specials change on a regular basis so you'll always have something "new" to try. But What really warrants the rating is the staff! They are friendly, accommodating, and truly appreciates your business. read more

I have gotten so many different things to eat here and I have been pleased every time. They have typical American fair with specialties every day. The staff is very helpful especially Mimi. Everything is affordable priced with most meals costing no more than 6-8 dollars. Also pretty much everything is made as soon as you order so it is very fresh. read more

Food is clean, tasty and very affordable. Ricardo and Carmen were a delight! Such kind service

Yum! Great food that's comes with a great price. Cashier woman was very nice and had a huge smile on her face. Place was comfortable and clean and also offers a nice outdoor patio to eat. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

I know the saying is "eat where the locals eat" but I've also noticed that "eat where the FedEx peeps eat" works in a pinch. This is one of those places I "ended up at" and discovered a wonderful cafe for the local inhabitants of this business complex. This actually is a beautiful complex and a nice cafe. There's about 10 good sized booths and another dozen chairs at the counter as well as 5 outdoor tables. I'm guessing that you'll run into a lunch crowd because they do a brisk business. But since most of the local office crowd gets half an hour for lunch, breakfast time is light (9am to 11am) and 1pm till 2:20pm is also open. Although they close at 4, they turn the grill off a bit before 3p or when they sell out of the lunch specials. After that they still have beautiful cold cut or salad sandwiches ( I love the chicken salad sandwich and will gladly walk it off an extra 15 minutes a day.) Today I got the daily special: Chicken Alfredo, small salad, medium fountain drink, half slice cheese bread for $6. You can usually find one or two specials a day and plenty of grilled items. I only wish I had time to explore the breakfast menu (I mean, I'm sleeping when they are doing breakfast, aren't you?) My favorites are the Veggie burger ($3.50) and the Veggie Sandwich ($3), Hamburger ($2.95)(also options for bacon or cheese burgers), and the grilled chicken sandwich ($5). And fries --gotta have fries with the burger, a mini salad bar (sold by weight), a fridge of assorted juices and sodas, and a snack rack with, of all things, baked Doritos and Ruffles, assorted cookies and "full flavored" chips. 20101 Hamilton is around the corner from the Del Amo Blvd. / Figueroa intersection (Figueroa is on one side of the 110 frwy and Hamilton on the other.) On Hamilton there's a Linder's Furniture and it's right across from that. Plenty of parking and a security person who, no doubt, will be able to direct you across the open court yard to the Hamilton Place Cafe. (310) 532-2353 read more

I have been eating here almost every other day. The place has a variety of food from Asian, to Mexican, to regular burgers and fries to salads. What I like about this place is you can customize almost any of your meals to your desire. If you want something healthy they will make it. If you want the bacon and cheese hey will add it. One thing that is upsetting is the prices are never the same. The front desk manager and receptions always charges irregularly. One day it's expensive and overcharged and one day it is fine. When I do ask what's up with the prices changes she will say "taxes" last time I checked if a burger is 3.50 it should not come out as 6 bucks !! Then the next day it will drop... I don't get it. read more

Many people from my office come to this cafeteria inside a business building for lunch. It's owned by a Korean lady so they have Asian dishes as well. Cheeseburger: Good. Nothing crazy. It's just a decent good burger that comes w soggy fries. Wish they were crispier. They have a tiny fryer that 1 of the employee's uses to fry the fries. Each order takes about 10-13 minutes to come out so if u can, call in & order ahead. I hear their Bibimbaps are good. Shrimp scampi: wasn't a fan. The shrimp is sitting under a heat lamp & comes on top of rice. Portions are big. Their combo of the day is really cheap usually around $6.00. I wonder how thy make money....... haha read more

This is a hidden gem! Amazing breakfast burritos and hands down best salsa to go with all your orders. If it's not on the menu, the cook Jose is willing to make special orders. I asked if he could make a club sandwich one it turned out amazing. They also have Lavazza coffee!! If your in a hurry stop by grab a burrito or breakfast sandwich and some coffee. One Thursday of the month they also make a super delicious Korean Bibimbap, truly amazing. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. Friendly service. Definitely a must try! read more

This place is a hidden jem! Their specials are totally worth coming for and they change weekly. Mimi and her staff and the nicest, most accommodating people I have ever met. You've got to try her Tempura. OMG! She doesn't make it often. but when she does, you can taste the love. And it sells out fast. If you're not there by 12:30pm for some of the super specials, you're not going to get it. Here's a secret, if you call and ask, they will put a special aside for you. I will miss Mimi so much since we wont be in the building anymore. But I will come back for some of the lunch specials. My favorite..............The Torta.....................Mouth watering. Sooooooooo good! Thank you Mimi and staff. You always brighten my day. read more

My office just relocated in this office building with this Cafe, what a nice surprise! For us, it's very convenient, reasonably price and the staff is friendly! Affordable prices and quality food! I wasn't expecting much as a first timer, but their food exceeded my expectations. I had a burger which was comparable to In-N-Out in terms of taste and the freshness of the ingredients they used. Looking forward to trying more from their menu! read more

I visit the location everyday for lunch. The staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious.

If you're anywhere near the Harbor Gateway area during breakfast and lunch hours, the Hamilton Pl Cafe is definitely worth trying. You can get most items on the breakfast menu for under $4. Daily lunch specials w/ a fountain drink are just $6! Besides the usual sandwiches, wraps, burgers and salads there are dinner style lunch specials everyday. My favorite thing for breakfast is the breakfast burrito. Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. For lunch, the buffalo chicken wrap is great. Again, if you work in the area and need somewhere to eat for breakfast or lunch, why drive further than you have to for fast food. For the same price, you can eat a home cooked style meal at the Hamilton Pl Cafe. read more
