I ate in. Clean dining room & rest room. I tried the fish sandwich. It isn't worth the price for it's size. $5.25 and fishy tasting. I took 3 bites and I was finished. Came through the drive thru for the first time at this facility. I've never tried hamburger station and didn't know what to expect. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, mushroom & mozzarella sticks. It's a weird combo lol. The mushrooms were really good! Mozzarella sticks kinda just tasted like frozen grocery store type. Ants i really liked their burgers actually. I feel like it's mcdonalds & white castle had a baby. I liked the pickled onion touch. To me its just too greasy & not something to enjoy unless it's a quick last minute choice. read more

We ate at the Hamburger Station on Manchester Road today. The burgers are great, the onion rings delicious . However, the location was filthy. The stall door in the ladies restroom wouldn't close all the way, the floor was filthy and there were no towels to dry your hands. The blow dryer wasn't working either. And also ALEXIS ? when I called was not rude at all. I was upset because of getting the wrong order. And we were all settled in at home. My husband and I are fans of their CHEESEburgers, onion rings, and fried mushrooms. But make sure you let them know in your loudest voice that you want CHEESEburgers, not hamburgers(which I did 2x!). And check your box when you get your food. Because they are ok with giving you the wrong thing and charging you for it. And their policy is: bring the burgers back & we'll remake them for you. But we were already home & settled in for the night. I think they should make it right by removing the charge when you call, and not have return to the restaurant. Today is a sad day for me. My family had been fan's of this once delectable burger style since it was sold at Thacker's Hamburgers. We gravitated to the HB after Jim opened the franchise. We've loved it for years. Today i ordered 2 family packs and two large mushrooms. What I received, aside from the still decent but very over priced burgers, were thin pieces of onion with a little batter dribbled and fried on them. I've never had onion rings this this from HS. The mushrooms were the worst i ever ordered. There were two very small portions. The orders were black and smelled from dirty grease. The smell was so bad my brother, who picked them up, thought they were bad. After more than 50 years between the two restaurants, today was my family's last. On the plus side, the gentleman who took my order was courteous and professional. I'm kind of broken-hearted. read more

The food and service are still awesome, but now the burger patties went from a small circle patty to a football shaped patty so I assume the can save money on meat while charging more. The family pack is now $27.99 for the less meat per burger. Less meat should mean lower prices you'd think. read more

There are two kinds of people in this world: people that know this should be the definition of a slider and people that couldn't figure out where the shapes went in the shape-sorter when they were a kid. We've eaten here since I was a young and when I come back to town it's a mandatory stop. The Good: Best slider I've had. It's not complicated, it's just fresh food in the perfect proportion. Not a big raw onion fan, so I take a bit of the onion off, but I won't order it without because it doesn't taste the same. Maybe don't cry in your review that there was too much onion. If you don't have fingers to remove some onion, just ask and I'm sure they'll do it for you. Crazy side note: their original wings are my favorite wing sauce. Crazy because of how many different actual wing places I've eaten at. Get a dozen for the family with some fries, onion rings, and/or wings and just go to town. The Bad: If you don't know this is a dive than this isn't the place for you. Go get a lamb slider at a fancy place, or go have some White Castle cardboard trash. My sons and I went to visit my friend and her kids, and of course, after a few hours of playing, all five kids were starving! She told me about Hamburger Station, so we went to get a Family Pack of cheeseburgers and some sides. The fried mushrooms are to die for! Their French fries, onion rings, and fried mushrooms are cut and breaded fresh daily, they aren't purchased frozen and then fried. They now have Funnel Cake Fries sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Yummy! Their burgers are good for a divey drive-thru. Even though I love onions, I suggest you get your burger with either easy onion or none at all. They put quite a bit on and it will seem more like an onion sandwich. The burgers are normally topped with onions, pickles, and mustard. Burgers do not automatically come with cheese, so you have to ask them to add it on. The best part is that Hamburger Station is fairly inexpensive. We fed 5 hungry boys (ranging from 5 years old to 14 years old), and ourselves for a little more than $20! read more

I was so excited to try out the gyros at Hamburger station and ordered two because they smelled so good when an associate brought it into the office. I could not have been more disappointed. I absolutely LOVE Hamburger Station. There are only 2 locations both in the Akron, OH area but they have been there forever and I have loved eating here since I was a kid growing up in Akron. Now I want to come here every time I visit home. They have fresh cut Fair/Carnival style fries with vinegar to put on them and fresh squeezed lemonade and good fried veggies but what I really love the most is the hamburger sliders . The soft buns, mustard, pickle, and ONIONS and lots of them (by design note: if you don't like lots of strong white onions tell them no or little onion because they slather the sliders with onions). Also when you come here order a lot of burgers they are sliders so 2-3 = a normal size burger. They make each slider on a small roll. I used to get 6 packs for myself when I was in my twenties. They taste awesome but they are small so get a lot of them and enjoy. read more

While I do fully support any business to conduct business in any way they wish, it doesn't mean I would like or recommend it. And that's the case with this place. I ordered some kind of burger combo with fries and drink and asked to add cheese and mayo to the sandwich that I believe included mustard and onions. The girl said they did not add items to sandwiches. I offered to pay. Still no. I asked if they had cheese and mayo on site and she said yes, just not for those sandwiches. I politely said okay and left. I figured I had just encountered an employee on a bad day so I tried the drive through with the same order a few weeks later. Same response. Again, while I do fully support the business to sell what and how they want, if I can't add simple customizations and pay to add cheese and mayo to a sandwich, I'm personally really not going to like the place or recommend it all.
