    Inside bar area

They have a very large area to dine either for large or small groups. They also have a big bar either inside or on the side patio. Lots of tvs and entertainment set up throughout the week. Specials and happy hours too!! They serve just pizza brand food - pizzas, subs, salads, wings and so much more. I had a chicken n the grass sub, which was good but nothing amazing. It was pretty much a couple chicken fingers ( which I wish the chicken was not breaded or fried for this kind of sub) and it had a little bit of spinach with some garlic butter on the bun. My husband had wings a single (10 wings) and they wouldn't let him split the flavors 5 and 5, they said it had to be all one flavor. He had a Cajun and it was good. Service was decent pretty fast considering the amount of people at the bar. I think I will go again to try out happy hour as they do have teacher happy hour once a week which is a great idea.

Stopped by Hamburg Taproom for a beer and slice before grocery shopping! We sat at the bar and service was very quick. There were quite a few people at the bar and at tables. Lots of seating and tvs. We just got a draft beer and cheese/pepperoni slice and a slice of the steak (with banana peppers mushrooms and onion) - it was delicious!

Yes, I would Recommend if you're hungry for Pizza, wings, burgers, soups, Beer -alcohol-and more. We just sat down to enjoy a meal. We had the Specialty Pizza Slice and Wings. Pizza was very good. Wings were also very good, way better than other places. Very meaty. Considering there were a good handful of people just eating, keeping staff busy, the waitress Laura was still attentive and nice. The atmosphere is friendly and they do have TVs if you want to watch sports and such. We stopped by to come eat here before going to the Buffalo Bills . It isn't to far away from the stadium if in a car. We are glad to check the restaurant out.

We ordered from Hamburg Taproom because of their large selection of gluten free pizzas. We were very impressed with the pizzas we ordered! The gluten free pizza was rich and flavorful, and the crust was fairly doughy and really good. The white pizza was good, and the custom flavored crust really added some flair to the pizza. We ordered delivery, so the whole process was super easy. We'll have to stop in sometime and try sit down experience!

The best place I ever went to! The staff is so nice! The food is amazing! And the inside is just so stylish it's so good I almost ate the whole pizza!

    Overpriced blue cheese.

Working at the new stadium build and am a pizza addict so naturally I'm pleased with a Just Pizza a mile down the road. Just stopped in for a few slices on my lunch break and I was not even going to waste any more of my half hour break questioning the legitimacy of the girl charging me $2.18 for ONE side of blue cheese. I didn't even say anything but I could not believe it. Is this price gouging because of the known surplus of workers in the area or is the company just that blatantly stupid? Would love a response, oh and you lost my business all together.

Angry burger (I added bacon, which it wasn't worth the $3.20 as it seemed to be 2 pieces of microwave bacon twisted around each other.)
    Tim K.

Service was immediate the server was right over. The burger was good but a little disappointed that it was served with tomato, even though I asked not to have it. I mentioned it to the server and her response was "oh they put it on there?" Then she walked away. The restaurant always has a nice casual sports bar feel to it and is mildly loud in a good way. We never have problems chatting while seated. Over all good meal and location.

Clean spacious place. Comfortable seating and 360 ° bar with plenty of TV's. Prices were reasonable and food was very good. Amazing draft beer and specialty pizza selection. Definitely not enough servers. One waitress covering 8 or 9 tables and 3 large parties on a Saturday afternoon??? Service suffered and felt sorry for her. She was trying her best! Website menu needs some serious work.

    Beer Battered Shrimp

Still mourning the loss of Jack Devine's Mean & Green sandwich - a scrumptious concoction of avocado, hummus, spinach, pesto, mozzarella and blue cheese on grilled sourdough. After that, the Just Pizza menu, although huge, is really just all the usual suspects. Pizza, wings, burgers, subs, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But nothing truly special and unique. Service was friendly enough, but pretty slow, considering the place wasn't at all busy. I would say that was the kitchen's doing though, not our server's. Everyone was satisfied with their burgers and pizza. I ordered the beer battered shrimp with bang bang sauce, which was really spicy, just the way I like it. Huge mound of fries. Ordered a pinot noir, and was pleased to learn it was Estancia, a brand I've always enjoyed. The decor is vastly different from what I'd remembered from my last visit. Clean and tasteful, but could use some warming up. I guess I've been spoiled by some of the great places I've been to recently. Nothing really wrong with Hamburg Taproom - just not a lot to get excited about. And with the number of bars, restaurants and breweries we have in this area, a place needs that "something special" to keep patrons coming back.

    Undercooked wings

Ordered wings from there tonight, not even cooked. Ordered extra crispy. The rest of the wings were in air fryer, still not edible. Never going there again

That can often mean high noise…read morelevels as others have noted, modern restaurant construction seems to put acoustics at the bottom of the priority list. That said, I did not find it overly loud, just loud enough where you had to raise your voice slightly. Enough about that. Johnson's Landing has a Lenten fish fry special, $20 for a full fish fry with sides, and this includes one of their specialty beers. This is a good deal to get a craft beer included with your fish fry. I actually ordered it to go and enjoyed the beer while waiting for the fish to take out. It was a very solid fish dinner, the batter was crispy, not oily. The fish was fresh, all of the sides were good, even the rye bread was a nice hearty thick cut of rye. The mac salad featured tuna, which I do like. And the fries were hot and tasty. The fish itself was not huge but was big enough for us. Every component of the fish fry dinner was on point. The barmaid was efficient and friendly, I did not have to wait. My only complaint is that they do not list beer prices on their menu, which was fine this time since it was included with the meal, but would prevent me from enjoying a stop on the way home for a beer or two. I think it is a sneaky practice, but strangely I do note prices on their website, and guess what? All draft beers are $8 including Labatt Blue Light, unless the website is now outdated. ($8 for Labatt's!! Holy Moly!) I can see why it is not on the printed menu. I really don't like when there is not full price transparency, thus four stars instead of five. However I wholeheartedly endorse the value and quality of the Lenten fish fry special.

She warned me it was a "hole in the wall" and she was right. Personally, I love dive bars, so I wasn't afraid I would call this more of a neighborhood bar. Finding it... I thought I was going down the wrong road because it's sort of behind factories and train tracks and sits at the end of a street in the middle of a neighborhood. No big signage no big parking lot just an old building that probably was someone's house at some point in time. The exterior is nothing fancy. But as soon as you open the door, you are definitely in a neighborhood bar. We're probably "everyone knows your name "I got there at 4:15 and the place was packed. There's a bar area and a separate smallish dining room with maybe 15 tables. Maxx clearly has a lot of regulars because my friend knew one of the groups of diners and finally enough I knew one of them too. This is probably a place where neighbors gather, or guys getting off from the Ford plant. Go to have drinks after work. The service was fast and friendly with one server Rob taking care of the whole place. I honestly don't know how she did it, but she did it well and with a smile the whole time. The menu was basic, but there's something for everyone. Burgers, wings, pizza, apparently they are known for their fish fry, and homemade clam chowder. One of my group had the fish fry and it looks so good. I had to take a picture of it and send it to my husband who is also a big fish fry fan. He was impressed. She and my friend had a cup of the clam chowder soup and I regretted not having the same because it looked absolutely delicious and piping hot. You could tell it was homemade. Both my friend and I were in the mood for pizza, and I wouldn't really order pizza from a place that's not known for it but order it we did. It had more of a thick crust, but it was crispy maybe a little overdone, but it was edible and tasty. I probably should have gone for the chicken finger sub or the wings. The prices are extremely reasonable. I mean really reasonable. The quantity of food was plentiful, the quality was good, service was great,. If you're looking for a cute little bar just for some basic food, friendly service and a cold beer give this place a try. And remember, don't judge it from the outside.

All of the sides were delicious - my only complaint is that the potato salad was a bit wet too for my liking and the chunks of potatoes were all kind of inconsistent sized chunks lol. I'd get the fish fry again. It was only a 25 minute pick up time despite it being super busy when I arrived which was great. It was packed with locals and I can see why. The parking lot was pretty busy but there were several lots/street parking available.

I literally couldn't have been more impressed with the meal. The only negative was the beans. The craziest part about it is that Winfield's Pub is literally just 10 minutes from my House. A conveniently small place that packs big Bold Flavors. Like as you are driving down Ridge Road towards the main Lackawanna area. A place that if you want to enjoy, you'd have to park in front of it or park on the Side Streets of the neighborhood across from it and walk over. After trying out their Food at a Stillwater Farm Dinner consisting or Birria Tacos and Sausage stuffed Chicken Breast. To me that was a nice welcoming Card telling me to come right away instead of wasting more time ignoring the Place. You walk up 3 Steps and in you are greeted by the Owner's wife Sherryl, the Owner and the Head of Winfield's (Tab Daulton) is running the show making sure food gets pumped out of their Small Kitchen. While their son Thomas is at the Bar making Cocktails of the highest Quality with some of the most unique names that I've ever heard. My 1st visit was enjoying a Birthday Dinner with loved ones in the center of the Restaurant. While going over the menu, I had my 1st Cocktail called The Ghostwriter in a tall cylindrical glass that had Gin, Herbal Liqueur, Coconut, Lime, Lemongrass Syrup & Dill. Sweet and Herbaceous. Next up was some Fresh made Focaccia Bread studded with Rosemary, Garlic, Tomatoes and Zucchini that was so Warm and Flavorful like it just came right out the Oven. You know I like to drink Beer and cook with it too, I couldn't help but get myself a cup of their Beer Cheese soup with Bratwurst and Housemade Croutons. Every single Spoonful I took was Rich with a hint of Spicy heat at the end. Next up was a plate off Duck Confit Poutine with Goat Cheese (I opted for that instead of Cheese Curds). You might look at it and see a big globby mess but what I saw and what I ate was pure Gluttonous Heaven. French Fries, bits of Rich and Tender Duck Meat and mild and Tangy Cheese which equaled a comforting Bite. Next was another Cocktail I got called the Dirty Harry (named after one of Clint Eastwood's best-known roles). Another drink that hit hard consisting of Pineapple, Doctor Bird Rum, Boomsa Herbal Liquor and Banana Shrub Jam. While waiting for my main course, I tried some of Nathan's BBQ Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Who doesn't like tender Pieces of Meat with the outside bring Crispy while the Meat inside just melts away on your Tongue. For our Entrees, everyone enjoyed something different like Nathan and Brianna having Seared Chicken with Vegetables, Mike enjoying a Burger, Rick just getting a few Appetizers, Grandma Carol eating Fish Tacos, Jimmy and Kathy enjoying a Steak. While I got myself Seared Scallops over Sweet Corn Risotto with Tarragon. This looked to me and ate like a Summer Dish, why on earth was it on the Menu during close to Fall/Winter, I don't know. But I'll say this, I loved every bite, you get Sweetness from both the Seafood and the Corn with the Tarragon at the end giving it a light hit of Licorice. Thomas kindly gave me a Complimentary Drink while waiting for Dessert called the Legislation #2. It had Rye Whiskey, Dry Vermouth, Orange Cognac and Acidic Phosphate. While it had all those Ingredients, it was a simple looking Drink with a Jurassic sized Ice Cube in it. But I will say this, this drink packed one heck of a Potent Punch. To finish off the Meal, I got myself a big slice of Guinness Chocolate Cake. One of my favorite Beers has been Transformed into a Dessert. It had such a Deep chocolate Flavor with richness from the frosting packed in between each layer. I walked over and personally thank Tab and his Crew for the great Food that night. The only issue we had was waiting to get our Checks, but other than that everything went great. Another one to cross off my list, another restaurant that I will no longer Ignore. Winfield's better be ready for some more Visits from me in the Future. !!!
