We ordered the Flyin Hawaiian as we both really like Hawaiian and liked the added pepperoni they had on this Signature pizza, as well as an order of Fiesta bread. I really love the food at Hambones! The crust is super good, all cheeses and topings are fresh and tasty. My personal favorite are their calzones and the bacon cheese tots. My go to order is. Reg calzone with pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms. The marinara sauce is homemade and you might need 2 sauce cups. I like lotsa sauce... and the bacon cheese tots... enjoy. Very good mom and pop pizzeria. Ordered right before the Superbowl and they had it ready and waiting a few minutes early on such a busy day. Awesome crust and very fair prices. My only two complaints were so small I hate to mention it, but the cheeseburger pizza recipe is not the best I have had, and secondly the guy answering the phone was not the sharpest tool in the shed. I was ordering for pickup and he wanted my address and then said oh you don't have to give it if you don't want it when I was a little hessitant. Also I specifically said at the start of the conversation that I needed it to pick up at a specific time and at the end of order he said "OK we will have it ready for you in 20 minutes." I had to correct him that I was not planning on being there for an hour. I am going to go back and order a different pizza and if I don't get a room temperature IQ employee answering the phone, its going to be 5 stars. Guy working register was rude. No hello, welcome or greeting other than a rude 'what do you want?' Wasnt end of day or busy that could explain his sour attitude. He seemed to be the one in charge, but others seemed more hospitable despite him being short with them as well. Hopefully this isnt hambone himself. As for food, I was told they dropped it on the ground when I came for pickup. At least they told me rather than just giving me dirty food. We ordered on their opening night and while the restaurant was completely swamped, the pizza we received was delicious!! Since then we have tried a few other things off the menu and not been disappointed. Right now we favor the meat lovers option, it comes fully loaded! The crust and sauce are both tasty and they are very generous with the cheese. I really hope these guys stick around. After Toppers closed, we didn't really order pizza (occasionally from blackjacks but their wait time is astronomical) because there's only so many slices of stiff, stone-cold slices from dominos a person can eat. My boyfriend and I ordered two xl pizzas on Valentine's Day (our anniversary) and we usually order dominos but I didn't have a great experience the last time we got food there so we ordered online, went and picked it up, came home, put on movies and I shit you not their pizza is so good. By far the best pizza I've had in years! Last night was my families first time trying pizza from Hambones. We got a medium Flyin' Hawaiian, a medium Carnivore and a small Pepperoni with extra Cheese. Boy oh boy were we happy. My youngest said it was like a party in your mouth. She had one of each. With each slice the flavors exploded in your mouth. Every slice better than the one before. Even my husband, a native "Jersey Boy", said he hadn't had pizza this good since he was back in New Jersey. So that was like um....23 years ago.
